You shoulda came to Galway, I woulda put ya up for the night, bud, I've got a spare bedroom, so if you wanna do another post like this in Galway, remember you've got a bed, mate, Galway's a great city you'd love it 💯. @@BenRobson123
For Airport to city centre you can actually get a bus as cheap as €2 each way, you need to get the 16 or 41 bus, you to buy a leap card for that fare, otherwise it is €3.30 each way (coins only)
Just got to say I'm really enjoying your videos. I started watching after planning a couple of days in Poland next month and then this caught my eye after knowing how expensive it is in Ireland. You have great production and they're really informative.
Bit late to the journey, but here would have been some great tips to maximise your 50 euro budget. 1) Bus 16 or 42 to city center, less than 3 euro each way 2) Entertainment or museums: check out the National Gallery which is free of charge, you can kill a couple of hours if you are into art. Theres also stephens green nearby to visit, trinity college (not the book of kells), so plenty of outdoor stuff! 3) Food for lunch: chicken fillet rolls! they are like less than a fiver depending where you go, mind you these days, prices have gone up as usual. 4) Coffee: you can get a barista made coffee for 2 euro at the heartbreak social club! Drury street is also quite fun to walk by 5) pints: there are certain spots in the city which have cheap pints, but need to know where to go! The auld triangle north inner city (totally reachable by walk) are like 4.50 (cash only) - if you take 2 that would have made up your bus journey, and you get to sip two amazing guinness for 9 euro. if you have the leap card (buy for 5 euro) why not go mad and go to the forty foot and go for a free swim (youd have to pay travel on the dart ) so that would be less than a fiver. You have to be into cold swimming though! Count about 15 euro for total travel if you go to the forty foot, 9 euro for two good guinness, thats 24 euro for the moment. leaving you 26 to maybe enjoy on a nice soup and a sandwich at a pub and a bit more money for whatever you fancy! If you take away the coffee and a roll that leaves you somewhere around 17-18 euros. I do recommend going in Like June or something when the weather is warmer!
Hi Ben. Scary night. Bet you were glad to get home......Dublin is expensive and can be dangerous at night. €50 for 24 hrs, including accommodation.....not a hope. I'm glad you got home safely, and I hope that you return soon, but with more money!!! 😊
Yes Norway hugely expensive ! I need a small tube of voltarol from the chemist. £27 😮 A bowl of soup was £17. Thankfully my expenses were paid as I was away on a work trip, but too expensive to go for a holiday !
Definitely enjoyed this, wishing you well with the channel broski, come back over and interact a bit more with people and you won’t be without, Dublin is fantastic but it’s only the start of the adventures. Look forward to your next visit. Pz
Haha sleeping in the airport sounds rough. I tried to sleep all night in a Manchester airport once, only spot was next to a noisy claw machine which kept going off all night 😮💨
Dublin is one of my favourite cities. You were certainly brave spending the night with nowhere to sleep. ❤
I had McDonalds as my safe house!😄

Thanks for the information. Very handy to know, this is when my lack of planning backfires!😅
Videos levelled up 👌🏼. Need to try walking into a hotel and just crash in the lounge
thank you!😁 Not sure if I’m brave enough for that, but who knows haha.. maybe next time!

Amazing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I feel like this one of the first videos where I really tried to up my game, thanks for watching :)
Class video Ben, and a bit mental you were just here! Btw, you were supposed to hit me up if you ever visited Dublin. Missed out on the pints now :)
Ah damn, my bad! Could’ve done with some freebies on my €50 budget 🤣 thanks Dexter!
Cracking video mate! Looking forward to the next one:)
Thanks Matty! Shoutout for making the money counter for me 😄
Super honest account- I live here and it’s so accurate. Love your honestly about how hard it was but glad you enjoyed the deer. 😬 subscribed!
Yeah, I think I got the expensive part right!😅 Nice to have to you here, welcome!😁
Hola Ben, I didn’t know Dublin was that expensive. Great video amigo. All the best
Thanks Rodrigo! Yep, 9th most expensive city in Europe I read somewhere 😮💨

Yep, very expensive. It was an interesting adventure though! I visited back in December actually and had a lovely trip
after dark the crackheads spawn
I’ve just come back from Norway. I’d set you a challenge to go there on a budget but I think it would be impossible 😂
Where in Norway did you go Rob? Honestly I doubt it’s much different than Dublin.. another homeless night, no problem 🤣
Oslo & Bergen, 3 nights in each. The train itself was £90 between the 2 cities (but worth it for the scenery)
Yes Norway hugely expensive ! I need a small tube of voltarol from the chemist. £27 😮 A bowl of soup was £17. Thankfully my expenses were paid as I was away on a work trip, but too expensive to go for a holiday !
The prices were terrible, I won a 3 night stay in Oslo with £200 spending money you can see how that went lol
Definitely enjoyed this, wishing you well with the channel broski, come back over and interact a bit more with people and you won’t be without, Dublin is fantastic but it’s only the start of the adventures.
Look forward to your next visit. Pz
Thanks Ian! I did visit again in December actually for a little longer. Thanks for the comment 😊
@@BenRobson123 cheers for the reply Ben, 🙏 I’ll go check that out.
Nice to see someone else do no money challenges now that Simon Wilson went "corporate"
Totally enjoyed this adventure.
Glad you enjoyed!
The breathing tax will look after that €50
😂
You should have got the 16 bus from the airport. They scammed you with the tourist bus 🙂.
Damn 🥲
I live in Ireland & rarely go to Dublin, you need €200 for a full day + accommodation. When I fly to U.K. I now just stay up all night in the airport
I don’t blame you! I’d probably do the same. Although I got lucky in December with a studio apartment for €80
Did this a few months ago and slept in the airport 24 hours try it
Haha sleeping in the airport sounds rough. I tried to sleep all night in a Manchester airport once, only spot was next to a noisy claw machine which kept going off all night 😮💨
@@BenRobson123 you would be surprised how much people were doing it believe me and it beats walking the streets
That was Gay Spar you were in! That's what it's known as by many of the Irish, and the shop embraced the name.
The video gave me a laugh there.
I’m glad Scott! Thanks mate 😊
I wouldn't even go out to lunch with only €50 - I'm a Dub.
Yep, I’ve learned my lesson ha though it was a fun challenge!
@@BenRobson123could have gotten a chicken roll for 4-5 euro or a couple Tesco meal deals
❤
Great time. No drinking no fun no money. Sick of looking up your
Nose. Bye.
Didn’t ask mate
24 hr leap card
Lol he went into gay spar 😂
What a load of shite.
Oh why thank you wise master
