I own the White Star Line pack by that developer. I believe I may be the first one boating the Titanic across the Atlantic for the full journey in MSFS!
I have just added this ship to my collection. I am quite pleased so far. However, I would have expected some engine noise or ambience? yes externally we can hear the sea and weather, but some form of enging growl? or noise would be good.
Been working with and on Anchor Handling (AHTS, not ATHS ;) ) and Platform Supply Vessels (and plenty others) for a couple of decades (including using our simulators with advanced physics), so it's funny to see the "Havyard 842" design in MSFS, it's a very familiar sight to me. There are a lot of inaccuracies on the bridge, but especially the outside model overall looks very nice. It's a shame the physics are so rudimentary, better physics for seagoing vessels in MSFS would be amazing, let's hope for some improvements on this for the future
This could be the start of something good, lets face it the best we have out there atm is Nautis Home which imo is just Ship Sim Extremes with a few updates. MS could utilize all sims in one.
Could you add links in the video descriptions of simulators you review? It would be much easier to find them, since they are quite a niche and UA-cam algorithms struggle to recognize them. Thank you in advance.
love the model, i always wanted a game where you have a research ship or something of sort that explores the ocean, i might get this, how do you use a drone camera?
They more concept pieces atm but you can imagine in the future how games within the game could be added with ships, fishing, cargo, passenger etc. Hence the decision for Flight Sim 24 to make all this stuff possible.
they are nice external models but interiors arent nice on any of them. inside they look 1999, almost as bad as virtual sailor payware. msfs actually has better coastal scenery tho unironically but that also results in seams in the water as the water is just panes. boats work best exploring detailed areas in harbors and other places where waves arent a thing so you dont notice the short comings... stormworks is a stupid minecraft type game.. the new one from vstep is 20 years late and literally same as their ship sim series marketed as something fancy but it isnt. basically no good boat game exists. seems nobody can model water yet.

I like it. Something different.
Good job with the video.

On Xbox?

thanks for highlighting the typo, I am the king of typos.
I bought the Tanker Ship of the same developer. Nicely done model, but more System depth and a Autopilot would be nice
There is a program called Nautipilot that works really well with ships

I don’t get why they add boats and cars but don’t add planes like the A380

drone camera is by default on the insert key, I have an xbox controller connected and I can use that to control the drone, again default mappings.
At time of watching this vid had 747 views 😍
Why do the graphics look like mung?
this was before the new GPU
Does this mean sea planes are now fixed so they can use their rudder.
It doesn't look like it, still too much weather vane
How time speed up mode?
R and then + key
Its in the keys configration
Thanks for the vid…I’ll pass it’s not a boat sim

@@honeybadger9425 True the sim has a lot of potential but I think some more support from the devs would've been needed.

what game is this
Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Let's just be this game an aircraft sim not a car or boat or any other bulllshit.
Can you pee over the side?
