this looks like pityriasis amienteca, which is why it is growing up the hair shaft. It is still psoriasis. PA is a description of HOW the scales distribute and they are quite difficult to remove. Kudos to you finding a great path for this girl. You should send this video to all area dermatologists to let them see the level of care you can provide their psoriasis patients while waiting for meds to kick in.
Yes, I'm aware that's the type of psoriasis she's experiencing. I like to think if it in the same way I view hairloss- a pattern type. They've tried meds and all were unsuccessful. That's how she ended up finding me and finally, relief!
I know she felt so much relief after this. Her hair and scalp looked so much healthier after this. This was awesome!! Where can i get that tool for my clients?
❤ this video and the fact that you took time and patience to treat her scalp correctly vs other beauticians who’ve NEVER touched her scalp due to fear and risk of “ spreading “ would’ve told her to” cut her hair completely “ without any concern or care whatsoever!# keepdoingwhatyoudo
This looks so relaxing. I wonder if she ever dozed off during this process. Ty for showing the correct way to treat and remove it. Educational and fascinating. ❤
Maybe using a lice comb to get the debris out of the hair would be a good idea. Like after removing the plaque from the scalp and washing the hair you could detangle with a wide tooth comb and then once the hair is fully detangled, gently go through it with the lice comb to remove any remaining flakes stuck to the hair itself, not the scalp.
Did you know that swimming in the ocean is salt water can do wonders for psoriasis. Look it up. I know this can't work for everybody. Yet if you live close to a beach and suffer. Periodic swims due wonders for it. Learned this when i lived in Ocean City MD for short period of time
Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease. It has nothing to do with cleanliness. It is hereditary, and you can have flare-ups due to diet or stress. You can reduce the symptoms but not erase it. This is not dandruff or dry scalp.
Where all the removal happened; will her hair grown back in. And also I watched a different video of yours. When it comes to hair being stagnate or not able to grow; can u diagnosis. Bc I have whatchu think is psoriasis on a part or it. No dermatooifht or trich visit. But idk if its normal some hair loss is but it thinned after using a specific semi permanent hair mask company. And I'm nervous it isnt Gina frown in again ever.
That's true, but that doesn't mean you should ignore the result of that immune condition. It's chronic, so no matter what is done the symptoms will only be reduced. Anything that keeps the scalp from these types of flare ups are worth trying. Internally and externally.
@rawday2395 it started in the lungs...then it went everywhere. She had a very bad form. It took her in 7 yrs from first diagnosed. It was worse than any cancer
I honest don't see why anyone would use a anti fungal treatment for psoriasis. Psoriasis isn't a fungal infection, it's a allergic reaction. I have psoriasis and i find a good hair mask for 15 mins then a comb removes a lot of the scales with little pain and i keep my very long locks.
It's actually inflammatory and is an response to an autoimmune condition. YOURS might flare up due to your allergies, but it's not an allergic reaction.
It’s an autoimmune condition. But, scalp psoriasis makes the scalp extremely vulnerable to secondary infections of a fungal or bacterial nature. I know from experience that if my psoriasis seems to have gotten much worse than usual, treating with an anti-fungal/anti-bacterial product will likely get my scalp back to having “just” scalp psoriasis. It can be a trial and error sort of thing but over the years I have learned the signs of a secondary infection.
It's usually do to an immune condition, stress related, gut related, diet etc. It's a chronic condition, but treatment can prevent it from getting to this stage again.
Because then the poor child has no hair and you see how stunning it is, imagine a little person that are going to school bald… mentally that’s not great at a very sensitive age, takes only a bit of time more to do it and keep her emotional well-being
Seriously why do people ask questions like this and don't think. If you had a scalp like that and you were a girl would you want to walk around bald? No. *smh*
Because the problem isn’t with her hair, it’s with her scalp. Even if her head was shaved the scales would still be there. Psoriasis is a skin condition, not a hair condition.
Please make it longer. I would watch the full three hours 😭

Who else want to watch the washing part?😮

Its so good that you created a system for this situation and didnt reslove to shaving it all off. God bless again.
Shaving it off wouldn’t solve the scalp problem.
This looks so relaxing. I wonder if she ever dozed off during this process.

Any time
You did a great job, I know she was relieved ❤
Thank you

It looks very fun and satisfying to scrape all that off the scalp.
How often will she need this done ? Is she going to continue to come to you ? You did an amazing job wow ❤
Thanks! She should use the antifungal at least once a week or every other week as she sees fit to prevent another flare up.
God Bless you,you have a beautiful gift in helping people
Is there a reason for using the scraping device vs a comb to remove the psoriasis? Is it to protect the hair shaft ?
I know there's hair washing & a system to get it out... but do u have to comb it out or?? Glad she found some help w it 😊
A steam cap would loosen that up quicker and removal would be much easier

For scalp psoriasis or on body?
Excellent job.was there something that could have prevented this? How did this occur?
Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease. It has nothing to do with cleanliness. It is hereditary, and you can have flare-ups due to diet or stress. You can reduce the symptoms but not erase it. This is not dandruff or dry scalp.
How much did you charge for these services? How long did it take in real time? Finally God bless you got patience like that...😅😊
How long was her scalp clear till she had to have that treatment again
Sad thing is those flakes gonna come back, I hope they can manage it after wards

I'm not understanding why you don't use a comb.
That's not the proper way to remove this type of scaling or any type. It'll cause bleeding, hair loss and more inflammation.
Exactly right
@thealopeciadoctor How did you get the debris out of her hair? I have a hard time getting it out 8f mine right now so it could be helpful.
What is that thing your using
Its still an autoimmune disease problem. Her hair looks wonderful, she probably needs to change her diet also
Yes! Eating less sugar and carbs will help tremendously.

@stylebycre I have Rheumatoid, fibromyalgia and psoriasis...I know all about autoimmune disease...my mother died from Sarcoidosis
@@aprilkilroy7405may I ask you how your mother died from sarcoidosis please??? Did it hit her lungs or what happened? 🙏🏻
@rawday2395 it started in the lungs...then it went everywhere. She had a very bad form. It took her in 7 yrs from first diagnosed. It was worse than any cancer
Looks so much better ❤
Thank you!
Why not use a comb?
Using a comb on an anyway inflammed scalp can cause bleeding, more irritation and possibly hair loss.
Que productos utilizó
This is great!
Thanks for sharing!
That's the worst case of psoriasis I've seen
Where are u located?
Was her scalp sore from this?
Not at all, but in areas that were harder to remove the plaque, she did mention sensitivity in those areas.
@Styleby Cre it looked like hurt. But that's good she came to you.
@@slimmgoddie2 you can tell she was ok by how calmly she sat through the process
You may as well have scratched with a comb. The scraping seems to have the same effect.

Psoriasis is autoimmune. Stress can make it flare up worse than an allergic reaction.
There’s growing evidence the psoriasis is linked to candida, which is a fungus.

What is this process called?
Scalp Detox using the Antifungal Bundle from myhappyscalp.com
Do you know what causes that?
It's usually do to an immune condition, stress related, gut related, diet etc. It's a chronic condition, but treatment can prevent it from getting to this stage again.
Thanks!
Thanks for the support my fellow trichology sis 😘😘🤎

Non era meglio un pettine fitto???????
Why not just shave the hair off and than do that?
Because then the poor child has no hair and you see how stunning it is, imagine a little person that are going to school bald… mentally that’s not great at a very sensitive age, takes only a bit of time more to do it and keep her emotional well-being

It would have been better if the hair was cut very short or shaven
She’s a little girl
Shaving the head does nothing for psoriasis because it’s a skin condition. If you shave your head the scales would still be there.
Dont scratch strip and peel like you do on a wallare you serious😱😱😱😱
A me sembra una colata di cera 😂
Thanks!
Thank you for the support🤎🤎🤎
