The trick with chocolate chip cookies is once you beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar,eggs and vanilla then HAND stir in the flour, baking soda and salt and chocolate chips. That’s what works for me. Yum I just made some yesterday with white chocolate chips. 😊. Loved your graphic spin on these cards too. Thanks

Fyi, if your cookie dough is bgg sticky, add a little flour, a bit at a time. Then your cookies will be fluffy and a yummy cookie with a little substance.

Love, love, love! This makes me want to drop everything and go ink blend!!! And thank you for posting a video that doesn't promote the latest and greatest products we can't get anyway. Would love a whole series of videos on graphic art cards made with products we likely already have or could make ourselves. ❤

Agreed! It can be frustrating when you’ve accumulated quite the nice amount of supplies but the current videos (not this one) promote yet another one of the latest must have items...so if possible, you go ahead and order but by the time it arrives, you’ve (I’ve) lost the mojo to create the project you (I) got it for. Plus, come on, we need to create with what we have. I have several items that I still haven’t opened, partly for the reason I just mentioned, or because I forgot why I got it. Can anyone else relate? It’s just so nice when a card designer gives us some wonderful ideas on how to use what we may already have...that way, while I feel so psyched, I can get right into it! Sorry for the ramble ;-)

@@KiwiJane1 I totally agree Debs! Its frustrating when you buy something mostly based on what you saw someone else make with it, but by the time you get it, no one else is using it cause there is a newer releases from 5 other companies by then. I honestly wish stamp companies would slow down their releases so we can fully appreciate them and curate a collection of stuff we'll actually use. I've gotten fed up and just stopped buying. I have a room full and many are still virgin stamps. I use Evernote to inventory my stash, and when I see a cool card I want to make, I search Evernote for a similar stamp and 95% of the time I have something that works great. I had to unsubscribe to MFT and others that are just constantly pushing new, new new! I also use Evernote for saving inspiration. It works kinda like Pinterest but makes it way easier to search for things you saved later. Evernote is available on both Windows and Macs, and both iphones and Androids, and syncs between your devices. I use it for everything!!!
Karen, but I understand that’s how they make their money and they do provide us with free tutorials so I’m grateful for that. I sometimes want to buy the products if I can see using them more than once and the video shows a really awesome finished card. But when I realize I can’t find what I need in my craft room because I have too much stuff and it got unorganized, I know I need to curb the buying and start enjoying what I have.

Incredibly fun designs! I honestly like all three, but my favorite is the last one. The shapes make me think of mountains and trees along the shore of a lake. 😊

I have been so uninspired lately with the cardmaking videos online, as well as the products. It’s been a bummer. But then I saw THIS.
It made me immediately want to pour a big cuppa tea and dance into my craft room and make these bright, geometric, soothing designs. And do you want to know what else? I have plastic to make stencils with! I am going to make me some stencil masks and go to town on this technique! I’m even going to use oval shapes to see if I can pull off a rainbow Easter egg with a die-cut bunny on top. You totally made my humdrum quarantine day a gazillion times more fun. Thank you!! 🥰🥰🥰

I love this version using inks but can see it also being done with colourful cardstock scraps...I’m thinking about another video you did where you die cut cardstock circles, moved them concentrically to one side and after cutting in half, flipped them. I think it’s brilliant and that almost mid-century graphic design is very eye-catching.

I just realised that someone disliked this video....must have been a mistake because this video is fan-freakin-tastic!!! Love the graphic ideas and of course your commentary is as entertaining as always. We've been doing a lot of baking too and I'm definitely going to be finishing lockdown about 20 pounds heavier but I will have survived and done it with my family, so its all worth it!! Yes, Laura, I’m basking!!! Beautiful cards & so, so clever! I love the one with the “mountains” the best, the blue below them looks like a lake. I really love the opposite color direction one too! I don’t know why, but there’s something about the same-directional-gradient one that made me think of a Pokémon ball, even though it’s partially the wrong color... 🤣

I bet the cookies Bailey made were delicious. I thought I'd need a stencil,for the trees, but all I need is post it tape, wow. I also liked the one on the left better, but ALL of the designs were cool.

These are beautiful and I'm going to try some Of these. I recently treated myself to the Hero Arts Circle Inifinity dies and this would be a perfect project to get more use from them..... As for the chocolate chip cookies, as I was grocery shopping a couple weeks ago I found a package of Nestle Expresso Chocolate Chips made with real coffee(says so on the package) and I was saving them for a special occasion. I think the time has come to make those cookies. My daughter-in-law gets first dibs for doing my grocery shopping for me today (since I'm of a certain age) and then it's everybody for themselves. Lol! Thanks for inspiring us and making us grin!
