Rather we notice this as a failure in strategy. They had plenty of time from 2014 after firing Mai Mujuru to structure and introduce a new gvt. Basically your side of faction Prof was outsmarted out of power.

I fail to understand how Dr Amai and G40 would have been a better option. Lets blame ED for his faults, but when we come to the succession strategy. The blame rests on Mugabe and those within sphere of his influence. Their desperation manifestated in G40 using a 1st lady as their front. An unseasoned politician, was now even chairing JOC committee.
Let's not blame the povo for supporting the Mugabe must go demo. It was overdue, and even without the support from the povo. I fail to understand how the povo would have influenced an internal power fight.

This chap is quite clever and knowledgeable but his problem is he thinks everyone else is dull. Why is he denying what we all saw, Grace being rushed to Chairwoman of Women's league then trying for the vice presidency in time for the December conference, topped up by pushing for ED to be fired. What for? So that she could be there as VP by the end of the congress and because of her Husband's advanced age and dementia, soon after 2018 election she, as VP, would be in a position to finish off his term. All this Sekeramai stuff is nonsense. We all know Sekeramai would never be allowed to take over. Mugabe was a supremacist who believed Zimbabwe was his personal property and therefore his wife or child would take over from him. And the army would just watch? what naivety for such a seasoned politician like Mugabe. Jonso is trying to re-write history. We all know had the army not intervened, we would have that harlot as our president. Spare us the nonsense Jonso. ED may have his weaknesses but its better than having a fiefdom of the Mugabe's.

What would Moyo and his collesgues have done if indeed Grace had gone ahead to becoming the third vice president now that they were quiet at that time? Moyo must answer this qluestion.
On the pre making of the coup, 9 years before it happened, he is again using speculation which he denies he does.
Moyo seems to have known that a couple was in the making all along and may have deliberately kept quiet hoping that he would benefit off it. His double standards come into play. Unfortunately the coup ended up targeting him as well. He had previously been a Mnangagwa guy and Mugabe at one time made him cry and beg for mercy. Thru man had a bone to grind against Mugabe. That's why he kept quiet if at all he knew about the coup if at all he knew or he is simply telling lies to absolve himself of blame.
Moyo is basically contradicting himself in this video if the truth be told viewers. He is not a political novice as we might assume

We can't be lectured by this guy who propped Mugabe's moribund regime through his arcebic writing. While it's correct that Chiwenga and Mnangagwa had their coup ideas well in advance, one can't overlook the fact that most of the high ranking officials in ZANU were also vying for power. Jonathan Moyo held a meeting at his house In Tsholotsho to plan for Mnangagwa's eventual take over.
The issue here is that ZANU has ougrown the society and has become the law unto itself. Such is the reality now, which explains why this lawless party has usurped the constitution, including taking the judiciary hostage and making Mnangagwa a new Zimbabwean monarch.
Moyo says he despises speculation and conjencture and yet thats what he always uses to forcast future happenings and why some things happen in Zimbabwe. He is not being honest on this aspect.

I do not understand why Mugabe was so bitter about him being ousted out if power at the age of 94 years and after ruling the country for 40 years being the only one. To me it was absurdity considering that he never gave chance to others yet when they went to war they all fought for one thing. Mugabe was SELFISH he should thank Ed that he was respected as father and not harmed. In my view he was supposed to be happy and appreciate the support he got from ED for all these years since war started. He was supposed to just admit that it was a family affair zanupf being a family

He helped in crafting some of the most draconian laws that our country has never faced.
