- Excluded presidential candidate Saviour Kasukuwere has accused Emmerson Mnangagwa - who has won a second term as Zimbabwe's president - of running the government through the military. Kasukuwere spoke to Duduzile Ramela.

@@elinahmutope9072 , the problem is that he does not even acknowledge his past wrongs - he tries to sanitise it. Many would like to forgive and move on together with him, but he has to, at least, acknowledge his role in the past. Without that, many will look past him into the future.

It is part of rigging, that's why it only affected 2 major metros which are predominantly opposition .
The problem here, is that Zimbabwens want someone else to fight and die for their freedom. If ANC, will try to pull Mnangagwa on us next year, then you'll see how we'll deal with them. Even if they send the army on us. By now, all Zimbabwens, who are not happy should be on the streets, in protest of this outcome. In that way, they would make the work of SADC even much easier.
I agree, everyone else especially South Africans should look into their own issues of dictatorship here. We have a president who breaks the law here in SA. We see the same happening in the USA, which means the Zimbabwean situation is not unique. Especially considering that they are also operating under illegal sanctions

Your guest Kasukuwere is not competent to comment about election rigging in Zimbabwe neither to point a finger at ZANU PF. This man was sacked from ZANU PF, he did not resign from the party, so he left the party when he still needed to belong. He even tried to reconcile with Mnangagwa but his efforts were fruitless therefore given the opportunity he will go back to ZANU PF.
