Otto has some balls. he went to dragon stone twice without dragon support and did what he was supposed to do. But in the end. the person who did not want the throne and wanted to end it peacefully (at first), still suffered the most. Aegon II is not the vile Rap!st. this or his bastards is only alluded to in the books, by a very untrustworthy source named Mushroom. for those who have read the books, you will know what Aegon will go through physically and emotionally. and I think they can agree with me that he will suffer greatly. same as Rhaenyra btw.

Alicent's arc is best handled in the show. In the book, at this point, the book barely did anything with her. The show has done a great job in filling in gaps with her.

It is not a romantic love. She will just be reluctant about things her children enjoy. And I'm tired of people excusing Rhaenyra's behavior. Using her authority over one of her servants, Rhaenyra ignores a verbal "Stop" from someone who does not want to have sex, and then continues to take his clothes off even though he is clearly distressed. Realizing that this may be an act of love after hearing Rhaenyra tell him for many months that she wants nothing to do with duty and wished she could follow her heart, he finally succumbs to sexual coercion and submits. Only to find out that Rhaenyra was just toying with him and he broke his vows not for love, but to be a play thing for a royal. The rest is history.
