Cypher was honestly never the worst, and if so it was only briefly. Phoenix was worse until his flash got buffed, and more recently he himself got buffed while chamber was nerfed into oblivion and Harbor came around

I've had luck playing yoru aggressively but for every round like that... it really drains mentally and is exhausting.

Astra is a big-brained agent. So much potential and high-rewarded when you are creative

I play astra too, but brim is like so much better especially if you got line ups.
She is a great controller/sentinel hybrid on small maps. She is an insta pick for me on Split/Ascent/Haven if everybody else doesn't want to play a controller.

Yoru is undeniably the best duelist in the game. If you know how to use his tp you can be anywhere in the map at all times and rotate with the click of a key. Also, if you know how to make one ways and use flashes reasonably the flashes become OP and you literally can't, not get flashed. Yoru's flash is basically invincible, his decoy is amazing for faking or making it sound like there are more people or scouting out tight angles. His tp allows him to rotate anywhere and his ult allows him to gather so much information and basically guarantee you a free pick everytime since all you need to do is get a shorty and flash them.

As an astra main I think the power to just rip someone off of spike without line ups is really useful
it has no duration tho, it just interrupts. Unlike brim lineups wastes 8 seconds
@UA-cam Anything thats the point, you have the flexibility of playing an angle with your gun and being more active post plant than getting ready with your lineup, although both has its pros and cons

I'm a Yoru main and I have to say that Yoru is an agent that you must main to play it because it's a fun agent like Neon but unlike her every Yoru's skills need to be used intentionally and perfectly.

Yoru = Big brain time
Yoru kit requires a ton of coordination. Flash, Decoy, Tp all need coordination and can be used together. But i agree he is a bit broken but his 2.1% pickrate makes up for it

With communication Yoru is one of the best, not to mention the amount of intelligence and game sense to play him. If you play him solo and are good then your probably smarter than most of the people who play the game.

Chamber is good the ult is a better op and the trade mark can get you out of a gun fight your gonna loose and yoru is good for intel and movement, and has a lot of util which could be used for aggressive plays or just passive plays and it could also be used for rotation and astra is more of a offensive controller and breach could be one of the best initiators because of the util(blind, concus, damage dealing, aoe) which is really good for playing aggressive
Yoru is the best character it's just that no one on the planet is good enough to play him at his full potential.

As a harbor main ı can say Harbor is treated very unfairly. The most brutal control expert agent who even feels like a duelist in the right hands.
Yoru is gg for you or your enemies, because it is hard to get any use out of his util. But once you mastered him you can demolish your enemies because nobody knows how to counter it.
To counter him you should also master him to understand him it's all about mind games and mostly when facing him it is a game of fortune sometimes you just have to guess where he will be and what he will be doing next it's like a eenie meenie situation 75% of the time when you face an average Yoru player

nah astra and harbor for sure gotta be buffed, the current state of his ult right now is one of the worst ults in the game, just like what he said, he had a pretty bad toolkit already and they made it worse by making his cascade slow teammates, his shield ( just like in the video ) it pops unpredictably becaus the shield has a healthbar so you can just make the shield low hp, then spam, and also the smoke goes down with the shield is what kinda sucks, and people are talking about how cascade gotta be replaced with a new move, and harbor's wall gotta last a bit longer with cascade being switched out
@Rantle Cascade is amazing! I think if they allow you to change its angle like a sage wall it'll be way more useful and have a lot more skill expression.

As a yoru main. I got to gold 2 with, but in my perspective, I recommend learn ing how to play him then you could get some easy kills, the reason why no one likes him is because people don't know how to play him, he is one of the most hardest character s to play and I recommend learning about before you play him. It's all about the way you are comfortable with your agent.
Playing harbor you have 3 concealments and 1 cover ability is amazing if you play around it properly. Make noise confuse the enemy and trade a kill at a minimum is better than what some people can do.
As a new Yoru main it’s feels good to tp into 2 or 3 enemies then just kill them while they don’t know ur there
I honestly won a 1v3 just by tping- (I was also a new yoru main)
all it takes is someone with gamesense and good headphones to beat you

Astra is about quick smoking and plan out things first before playing the match.
(Another reason why you could place a star before the mtach starts)
Quick setup.
Then if enemy team see star.
There is some things they will do.
Avoid it (since astra has pull)
Or rush over it (typical neon/jett/) players.
Also.
Astra has the "Taking the star vack" thing which gives you a quick smoke.
(Its as long as jetts smoke)

after nerf maybe my french gut chamber is not living his glory days but still he is a great agent for me. You can be agressive at the round starts and than dissapear no matter you whiff or hit. You can rotate quite fast cuz of his tp and his trip is a basic alert for lurkers.

I was once a Chamber main. He's like Yoru and Omen had a baby but on steroids. Imagine teleporting from one site to another, even in high spots. But sadly, Riot nerfed him until he's no longer usable. But when it comes to Yoru, he's really good to be used as a main. I guess both agents are supposed to be used creatively especially they have tp.
he’s actually still usable. his role has just been adjusted. a dash of creativity and a bit of strategy and he’s still a dominant force.

@@dialo6917 yeah good point. From the pre nerf Chamber, I played him more as a duelist rather than a sentinel (well of course, more of a sentinel when it comes to defending). Maybe that's one of the reasons why I seldom pick Chamber anymore.

Astra is pretty good if you master it, you just need to think ahead of time. I'm not very good with Astra but I play it anyway because it forces me to get better at my gunfights instead of using all my utils on a single person then just getting traded out

all of these agents are really good just practice with them. chamber cant be a solo senti on any map besides bind so dont think of him as a senti but he can still be very good, yoru is the most versatile duelist in the game, astra does her job almost perfectly and has the largest smokes in the game, breach does his job perfectly and is the prime example of a team based initiator and harbor can be used on multiple maps by himself and is very very good for aggression and blurs the lines between controller, initiator and duelist.

I actually love harbor A LOT, he’s really good if you have another controller to substitute, pretty much for me he’s an initiator, although with controlling he isn’t the very best, I believe you can make full use of him as if he’s an initiator because his abilities are very versatile and allows you to create space very easily
Edit : When i play with my friends/duos, they usually pick either another controller OR jett if i pick harbor, especially works best with jett because I’m like a little mini pocket initiator and set up spaces for them easily

As an Ascendant yoru main I can confirm that yoru is the best agent in the game. People need to be creative, unpredictable and smart while using his kit. If you don't know how to play he can be the worst but if you're smart and know what you are doing he us the best agent in the game

As a Yoru main. He is overpowered if you know how to play and has some hours invested in him. most people dont use him properly and just troll the shit out of teammates and blinding teammates. He is the most hardest to master in my opinion

If you decide on Yoru you gotta stick to it, he's definitely one of the characters that takes more skill to be useful as compared to others.
If you don't main him, don't try him in comp matches.
I main Yoru, mostly unranked but some ranked (Meaning most games, no communication). He's a little weird to play as a duelist, since he's verging being an initiator.
Fun thing for me is I always play with a friend that mains Omen but plays him more like a duelist (we call him a controlist). We also almost always split off from the team so it's us on one side, everyone else on the other. Sometimes someone else will come with us or sometimes well group up, depending on how the rounds are playing.
We're always on vc with eachother, making us pretty self-sufficient just the 2 of us.

Controller main here. This is just my personal take. I feel like Astra is one of the best controllers with global utility that'll let you literally play the mind games with the entire enemy team with your utility alone. Not to mention, there are a lot of pocket strats that can win so much space in a short amount of time. However, it is true that some of these agents are very reliant on good teamwork and if that the agents are weaker without it. Basically the point of this video was that you should just pick the agents with the most viability.

Harbor is awesome and tbh any agent is playable in ranked as the "comps" don't really matter THAT much if ur playing solo queue. Much rather people just play their comfortable role (as long as we have 1 controller XD).

Harbor is the most underrated agent in valorant he can easily impair the ability of the other team to find where he or his teammates are with any of his abilities.

Yoru is solid if you play balanced and have good map knowledge cus line ups are so fucking useful on yoru plus his decoy is pretty good if used correctly
