2nd tip is actually wrong if you genuinely want to improve, it is "better" to keep player centered while altering other settings to still see the entire map, why? so you can peek off your teammates using map info, it is so much easier this way and it's also what pros mostly use
@@fxxtickyx pros use this because they have great communication it is better to turn off this setting in lower ranks because not many people communicate down there
@@hippo5748 not really, you use this to *trade* which doesn't need any communication, just sticking to your teammate at a close distance and after he peeks you look at the minimap > preaim> peek & shoot. You teammate doesn't need to tell you to trade him so you'd trade him, especially when pushing a site... The only argument against this is in a situation where the enemy is somewhere known, and ur ally runs off while you're not paying attention. Also, you didn't give a reason to why it should be off, because you can still see the entire map, and locate enemies/ understand the map much quicker (if you're used to the other setting it doesn't matter but it's easier this way)
Just wanna say that “Keep Player Centered” is actually a very good setting that can help you a lot to line up shots using the minimap when you’re smoked off or just for minimap refragging in general. Try setting it to its max size, and then scaling Zoom down to around .6 and you can get the benefits of keep player centered without losing portions of the map
Another suggestion: trying playing agents that *force* you to play a different playstyle, so later when you switch back to your mains you know what's going through your ally's minds when plays are being set up around you. I main more defensive agents like Sage and Cypher, but I've recently switched over to Omen to try him out and now know what an aggressive Omen main expects from their teammates and specifically when.
Great tip. I started about 3 weeks ago and have been trying all different agents in Swiftplay, TDM, and Unrated so when I go to play ranked I don't feel so lost.
@@HerozOfficial meanwhile me who plays Sage listening to my teammates opening their mics only for heals or res rather than important callouts or strats.
Just to be clear the first tip works only for defenders NOT attackers. If you save even as an attacker after the spike is planted and they defuse you get no save penalty so if you really wanna save your sheriff on attack you can
There's a difference between thinking and being hesitant, i feel like the video is trying to get us in flow state with subconscious actions but when you are improving you need to focus and think of your weak points, but never hesitate, it's a game about timings
Yea but what if you have utter garbage teammates? Who give up after first 3 rounds and start typing GG in all chat lmao this game actually has the most dense kids
The last is the most important, you’ll realized that when you have a lose streak, that’s because you are over thinking every single round. Keep it simple
Most pro coaches do not reccomend the 2nd setting, usually you wanna use the map to line up kills and trade teammates playing off the map, much harder to do so without radar locked on you. You can still make the map fill out without turning that setting on
i wish people would learn the last one, everyone in diamond tries to use every ability in every fight which is good but not when u constantly get caught with ur util in hand
Also full buy if you won pistol! I see in low elo they sometimes don't do it and lose the buy round when they could win if they had a spectre/stinger and full shield. In general if it's a save round for an enemy buy a full shield (having light shield on buys is ok and sometimes even a better decision, because enemy has vandal/phantom/guardian/op and this +25 shield 90% of the time won't save you as minimum dmg of 1 body shot is more than that, but it will def save 600 cred). I saved some money like that and was able to buy a gun every round or buy for a teammate. Also guardian is underrated.
Another Tip I have for better aim. When moving your mouse you may or may not push against your mousepad or mouse surface. I recommend not doing that as your aim will stutter a bit and will make it inconsistent, tell your self to glide your mouse around the mousepad and not dragging it very roughly. May or may not help but it worked for me.
Facts bro, I’m from CS:GO and switched to Valorant and at first it was hard for me because IDK shit about agents abilities except for flashes and smoke or blind and molly. So from silver 2 to platinum 1 I used brimstone reyna or omen 😂
I think the most important thing is to be aware that it's just pixels in your screen and sounds echoing from your headphones.Dont let it fuck up your mental health.
high-elo players use minimap centered on player + rotating map to frag through smokes on enemies their teammates (or cam/drone) see they zoom it out a lot tho so if you're not used to the maps and need to see it bigger then do this later
It depends, if it’s the first round you lost in a row, sometimes you might want to save, assuming your full shields are intact. But any other situation you need to die to spike
True, noticed the first tip in vCT lock in tournament😂 I was wondering why they willingly try to go and die from explosion if they could have run away, then I got it xD
My only tip that some ppl still dont get: If your team wins the pistol round, you dont eco as team next round. Every second match i see that in lower elos with a second account.
1st tip only applies to defense side players. if attackers plant the bomb and and any player on attack side is still alive, they get the usual loss bonus as if they died as well. so the 1k only bonus applies only to defense players.
"As long as you hit headshots" *Me having an anime battle for 15 seconds spamming classic and missing 90% of shots with my enemy* : Yeah yeah good point
I think it’s a matter of personal preference, and it can be hard to switch, but centered off allows you to simply see more. I’d recommend any new players to start with it. The spraying through smokes argument doesn’t really work, it makes a tiny difference there, and honestly spraying through smokes is mostly gamesense and crosshair placement
The No. 3, maybe because it's short so no time to explain more. But it's not just simple it depends on role and plan. I put Cypher trap in the same spot until enemies know my plan, I need to change it, and can't be simple, and 20 - 30 seconds for preparation time why not think about which plan will play with that free time?
The last one is ESSENTIAL. I was losing shit bot fragging, badly whiffing, can't even win the contest, and all, but the fkn moment I chatted with a friend white playing and not caring about how I play, I aced 6 times in 3 games💀
bad map setting advice, keeping your map on rotate allows you to line up on the radar when in a smoke or behind a wall so you may go for a shot and know exactly where to put your crosshair
The last one is only valid up to a certain point. Yes you can’t flow chart the game but you can play for the statistically better play. However, you can play like the most ego crazy player below gold so your mechs get better
As attacker, if you survived without planting, your creds will be reduced by 1k lose streak bonus will be removed. As Defender, if you survived the spike detonation, the creds will be reduced by 1k lose streak bonus will be removed.
Hey, don't uncenter yourself on rador if you have abilities like Iso's Ult, or Sova's. Having the map oriented around you is very helpful while aming through walls.

If you won the pistol round, buy the second round. If you don't buy, you're not utilising that pistol win advantage. Don't worry about the third round. You probably won't win but you're looking to hurt their eco. Even if you lose, you're still up 2-1. A lot of lower elo players dont seem to understand that winning pistol=more creds and more creds=better equipment and better equipment=higher chance of winning the round. The more round advantages you have, the more breathing room you get. It's a good habit to get into in lower elo cause once you start ranking up and start facing competent opponents, every round will matter and you don't want to be that guy that lost his team the 2nd round because the opponents decided to force and you couldn't win with a ghost against a spectre/stinger.
