“You don’t know what DEATH IS” damn, nothing beats that EVER!! I’ve loved Halloween II ever since I was 9, something about that hospital eeriness just stuck with me, the hospital workers not knowing what they are about to come up against, he’s stalking every corner and you get that mysterious synth music, I think it really sets the tone, and I think they definitely bring that vibe alive in the new ones.
Honestly, for me, it just depends on the timeline I'm going for. I will say I watched Halloween Kills a third time last night and you know, the more I watch it, the more I like it and watching it behind Halloween 2018, I love the attention to detail we get. The side characters you see a glimpse of that come back strong in Kills. You pick up on a few things that make you understand a bit more.
Evil dies tonight! Well you most certainly staked that vampire look. Sparkles and all.
Your Intro Though & Your Whole Gothic Victorian Vampiric Look.... THAT Literally Screamed The Birth Of Haunted Hippie 😂❤️🥰 I Absolutely Adore It🧡🕸️🕷️
Great video and an excellent comparison!! You have an awesome style and great energy! Happy Halloween!! 😃🎃
Aw happy Halloween!!
Halloween Kills for me. A decade ago, I love Halloween II but the more I watch it, the more I like it less. What I have problems with Halloween II are how they retconned the ending of the original in the opening, the 2nd act is so slow, not a big fan of the brother/sister twist, how staff-less the hospital was, and how different Michael looks and acts (I know it’s the same mask from the original but it’s dirtier and wider). I felt Kills did a better job of making the sequel a continuation of the same night of the predecessor so seamless. Additionally, the kills and score of Halloween Kills are top tier. As for Karen’s death, it’s been confirmed by Judy Greer that it’s actually a homage to Marion Crane’s death in Psycho. As for my costume, I dressed as Austin Sommers from AHS: Red Tide and a Halloween fanboy
Ah interesting thanks for the info!
@@mattstorm6568 Halloween II (which takes moments later) starts with Michael getting shot and falling off the balcony in front of the house vs the back of the house in the original, when Loomis check on Michael the room is lit up compare to it being completely dark in the original, Loomis is surprised by Michael’s disappearance while he wasn’t in the original. Continuity errors is a pet peeve of mine. Kills with the flashbacks has Michael wondering around Haddonfield after he got shot just like he did at the end of the original where he has no motive
As for Michael in H18 and Kills being portrayed by the same actor and the mask looking the same besides being burnt (which is necessary for the Kills) and as Laurie said, the more Michael kills, the more he transcends. While in H2, it’s obvious it’s a completely different actor playing Michael and the mask looking the way it does doesn’t make sense since it takes place the same night
That’s the beauty of Halloween. There’s so many timelines, it’s basically choose your adventure type of franchise
@@tparkerevans7165 That whole transcending thing is just stupid though.
@@tparkerevans7165 The writing and dialogue in Kills was almost comedic. A total disappointment after 2018.
Happy Halloween Kylie 🎃 I love the costume. I'll have to watch this later tho
I'm with you I prefer Halloween Kills over H2.
Everyone needs to remember Kills was the middle of a trilogy, if this was a 2 movie set (ala, Dune) Kills would have been a completely different movie.
The biggest issue with me from H2 was the plot line of Laurie being Michael's sister, I'm sure I'm alone in the island here but I've always hated that. As long as you didn't get near a Strode family member when Michael arrived you had a decent chance of surviving the night.
That's one of the reasons I'm liking this trilogy so much as now if you're part of the Haddonfield population your in trouble.
As far as Ends goes my take is you have to remove his mask to "Kill" Michael, like they said at the asylum "you can feel it's power". That epic confrontation with him and Laurie at the end is going hopefully going to be just that Epic.
Great video as always
Stay warm as yes Poland is certainly cold
thank you I fully agree!! Never liked them being siblings
Happy Halloween Kylie!! 🎃 thanks for the amazing video! i love the comparison between the two movies.
Happy Halloween, Kylie! I love your costume!! Halloween Kills is a true follow-up to Halloween 2018 and I freaking love it. Same thing applies to Halloween 2 (1981) being a worthy continuation of the original before being retconned by Halloween 2018. However, it sucks that Laurie and the shape didn't come face to face with each other in Halloween Kills. Sure she was in the Hospital and all, but still, I would have appreciated it if they did come face to face. Hopefully they will in Halloween Ends.
I think they might have a massive showdown in Ends!
@@HauntedHippie I would so love to see that.
Happy Halloween Kylie & everybody!
You're the best!
🎃 👻 💀 🧛♂️ 🧛♀️ 🦇
Happy Halloween Kylie!!!
Happy Halloween 🎃 love your channel
I thought Karen’s death scene was a homage to the Shower scene in Psycho.
A Halloween movie without a Loomis-like character looks like Halloween: Resurrection 😒😬🤷🏾♂️
Very true 😂
Happy Halloween! Awesome video.
Happy Halloween Haunted Hippie😉🎃🧡
Great review! I prefer H2 to Kills. I like hearing opinions like yours, being born in the early 70s and seeing these movies back in the day, I know I have a massive nostalgic bias. It's the feel of H2 that I'm attracted to...not necessarily it being a superior script or story line.
I totally agree with you about the Michaels. Dick warlock is one of my least favorites, he's just so stiff, slow and robotic... It kind of drives me nuts lol. He wasn't like that in the original 78. He ran down those stairs after Laurie... It was terrifying. The way he walked across the street to the Doyls... It was brisk and with intent. Warlock turned him into a zombie. Kills is my second favorite Michael behind the original 78 (again probably nostalgia talking because I love the new Michael).
I can't wait for Ends and to see how they tie the story up!
While 'Halloween II' isn't as good as the original, as a movie it's far better than most sequels of any genre. It edges out "Kills" in following the main story more cohesively. The fact that the movie starts immediately after 'Halloween', this is a continuation rather than the usual horror sequel rehashing. I genuinely prefer 'Halloween II' over most of the Halloween franchise sequels, in general -- After seeing 'Halloween Kills', I also have a new found respect for 'II'. 'Kills' has its fans and its haters. For the season, it's a thrill ride and it does enhance The Halloween catalogue, even though it lacked structure and a cohesive narrative. Basically, both are just killing-spree slashers. I just found 'II' to have a better story, overall. Happy Halloween. 👻
I agree good post.
@@rolltide9547 Thanks. 😉
Pretty much the only things Halloween Kills has over Halloween II are the kills and James Jude Courtney’s performance as Michael for me
Happy Halloween🎃👻🍬 Halloween 2 is it for me it has the same tone as the first one but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy Halloween kills. 🔥🔥❤
I remember watching Halloween II in the late 80's on WGN out of Chicago. The version of Halloween that aired was edited significantly different than the theatrical version. The news anchor who kept interrupting the movie to inform us what the news would be covering at 11pm was named Rick Rosenthal.
Happy Halloween spooky vampire babe!
When I don’t wanna watch a movie again cough cough rob zombies HOLLOWEEN 1&2 , I just watch dead meats kill count 😭😭
That’s a very good point but I’m not sure I’d get quite all the info I’d need to make one of my video essays from that 😭😭😭 I’ll try it though!
Happy Halloween Kylie.
Y’know, I need to still see Halloween 2, even though I know all the twists. Either way, have a happy Halloween!
You are really killing it at this Halloween bingo! Michael would be proud! Hahaha 🎃🔥🦇
I met James Jude Courtney at the Chicago Horror Convention, and trust me, they picked the right guy. He's gotta be like 6ft, 2 inches, and he has these strong looking hands, where if he grabs a hold of you, it's over.
He seems like a cool guy!!
Halloween kills rules lol
Crazy to think Micheal was never after Lorrie, but now Lorrie is after micheal
I remember when I was a kid in South California and in halloween night my uncle(that looked alot like Bob in the original lol) was watching halloween 2 in the living room, I remember the Elrod scene, this was like a few minutes before I went out with my cousins for candy, i got scared at everything, I hated those scream masks with blood lol, I love horror movies now the first 2 halloween movies are kinda cozy in a wierd way, very nostalgic
Like 2,
Love Kills!!
Greetings from cold Germany 🎃
My rankings
1. 1978
2. Halloween 2
3. Halloween 2018
4. Halloween kills
5 . The rest depending on the day of the week. They all are way behind the first 4.
While I do agree that Halloween II (1981) isn't the end all be all best sequel that most believe it is, I can't say, "Halloween Kills" is better. Dr. Loomis alone is better than any part of, "Halloween Kills. I know how you feel about him, but Donald Pleasance was that dude, man. I like, but don't love, "Halloween Kills" by the way.
Dick did good at beginning. He glided through the back yards vs the super rigid slower walk he did in hospital which is more zombie like than before. Which I've heard other people say that he's more undead by the end if this one after bleeding out walking around town. One people gave me the impression that maybe since Halloween is ending that he's getting weaker and slower but obviously he's taking his time with her lol. Enjoying every second lol.
agreed to this day the way michael is shot out of the house at end of 1 and beginning of 2 still bugs me
Happy Halloween! I saw four bats flying around today...
I think they're both pretty flawed sequels in their own ways - Halloween 2 has some great stalking scenes in the streets of Haddonfield and some nice long shots in the hospital hallways but it meanders like a mofo. Halloween Kills has the best violence and gore and best conception of Michael, but none of the stalking or creepy long shots are there. I personally prefer H2 as it feels closest to the original in style, but Kills has plenty going for it too.
There are obvious similarities like Laurie in hospital and Michael bring more ruthless
Good breakdown of both films. Halloween II (1981) was the 1st Halloween film I ever saw! So it does hold a special place for me! I like Kills, but after the 4th viewing of it, there were a few things that annoyed me! So at the moment I rank Halloween II, 2nd overall. Currently I rank Kills 5th overall!
Your editing ha s always been awesome
Thank you so much for another great video looks like you’re having an awesome good time on Halloween please take care of yourself be safe. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and
Here's another fun fact about, "Halloween II (1981)" Dana Garvey has a cameo as a cameraman in a few scenes, making him the only person who has worked with Michael Myers and Mike Myers.
Learn how to spell actors names...
Michael McDonald was in both Halloween Kills and Austin Powers in Goldmember.
Yeeeesssssssss! I had to resist watching it last night because of the trick or treaters, but I’ve been waiting for this one! Hope your night was fun & frightful! 🎃
Yay! Thank you!
For me Halloween 2 is the better movie. The part of the ending when Michael steps out under that red light and chases Laurie is better than any Michael scene in Kills....he just has that look that he is not going to stop ever.
I prefer Kills over Halloween 2 since I really dislike giving The Shape a motive being that he wants to kill it’s sibling.
Yeah just thought about the fact that if Micheal was never rilly going after Lorrie then if lorrie and Allison could just move away from haddonfield and be completely fine
I believe the next one in 2022 he will go after Laurie. It will also take place in 2022. Four years after Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills (2021) films. I could be wrong though and it may be Laurie Strode that will go after Michael and not the other way around or they may look for each other . Who knows.
Great video as always🎈👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 loving the vampire look 😁
Another awesome video your love of horror is so cool 👍
Hello Haunted Hippie! I randomly came across your channel just now and just finished watching your video on bothTexas chainsaw massacre movies and enjoyed and instantly subscribed to you! 💜
Happy Halloween Kylie like the costume. Halloween 81 imo is better basically I’ll go back & rewatch Because it gave me the spooky chilling vibes mainly the story of Michael and Laurie strode character dynamic explained; the musical score from Carpenter, Howarth works like a charm. The look of Michael mask was an issue, the acting was very flawed. Expect the character Jimmy & Doc Sam Loomis. While Halloween kills while I do enjoy has more continuity in the subplot, less of Laurie strode and The mob chasing down a lookalike of Michael Myers turned out to be an inmate was pretty insufferable.
Happy Halloween! 🎃
Have you seen the extended tv-versions of Halloween (1978) and Halloween II (1981)?
I have not!
Loved this comparison, and I think I agree with you but it’s still a tough one because I loved Halloween II growing up. I knew how unrealistic it was for the hospital to be empty but I loved how creepy the vibe was. I’ve now seen Halloween Kills 4x lol. I was not expecting to love it as much as I did. I saw another person say it was confirmed that the way Karen’s death was filmed was a homage to Marion Crane’s- I suspected that but hadn’t found any evidence of it as of yet! Love that look 🖤🎃
Aw omg yay! So glad you love Halloween kills as much as I do. And it’s also such a weird coincidence that it was an homage to Marion Crane’s death because her name just popped out of my mouth in this video 😂
@@HauntedHippie haha I loved it, it was totally appropriate & everyone knew what you meant 😂
I choose Halloween 2 over Halloween kills
I was Michael Myers from part 6 on Halloween, we took the kids trick or treating, and man oh man, does that costume freak kids out, especially if you act like him.
Another fantastic comparison video, keep up the great work!
Thank you for the analysis (I fell for Hallowen Kills like Bella Swan seeing her first sparkling Cullen!) and the goofy cape dance intro!
As a Halloween fan These 2 movies I Enjoy Thanks for the Reviews Haunted Hippie 🎃🔪
Beautiful and mysterious yet inspiring and interesting xx
Not sure if I`ll even watch the Halloween Kills more gore doesn't not make a better horror movie
Waste of time. Adds nothing to the new series story wise and Michael becomes Jason like n less of the shape. So many dumb characters and has no climax or ending
Thanks for the tip
There’s a lot more than just ‘more gore’ in Halloween kills
Halloween Kills for me. While I do like Halloween 2, I do feel like it's a tad slow at times. It also feels like every other basic 80s slasher. Halloween Kills felt fresh.
My thoughts exactly!
@@mattstorm6568 lol the story of kills is way more thematically and narratively dense than Halloween 2. It’s not just about the kills
Great discussion these two good films.. So far you covered Halloween films I like. Im actually getting tired of gushing over them. I ready to talk about the shit Halloween films, H4 through RZ Halloweens. I got tons to say on these. Like how Michael looks soooooo cool on all the posters and movie covers, but in the film looks like on of the three stooges.✌
I love the song at the start
Fantastic breakdown of both films, and brilliant video
Much appreciated!
Yooo bring this cape back please lmao shit is sickkkk
I love ❤️ Halloween 🎃 movie 2 and Love Halloween 🎃 kills🎃🎃💜💘
Hands down lol. No doubt. I like Halloween two but the first half was best but as it drags on it literally drags it feels instead of tension but the kills are the highlights and last act awesome. My whole store dressed up like minions and our boss dressed as gru lol. Awesome video as always. Appreciate the effort you always look amazing lol. Always love your videos lol. Can't wait to see what you'll be next year lol
Actually the mask from one and two are the same. It aged naturally under Debrah Hill's bed and the reason the condition is worse is because she said cigarette smoke yellowed it and it was stretched on a new actor's face.
This is weird. These two films are like polar opposites in terms of what made them flawed. I love H2 for the classic Myers stalking, the soundtrack, and an amazing usage of a small town skeleton crew of hospital staff. But it has that twist which is very infamous. Also Laurie gets to stand up for herself. She may have had less dialogue but she sure made her actions count.
Halloween Kills is over filled with characters and too many of them have their plot swept underneath them. I love all the Myers’ portions of the film. I didn’t like how Laurie contributed nothing to the plot. I just don’t know. I cannot knock one film down out of the other. Halloween II has a much longer behind the scenes background information whereas Halloween Kills barely has any to speak of. It’s okay for people to love one film over the other. I’ll appreciate Halloween Kills more if Halloween Ends succeeds. But Halloween II I felt acted as a good epilogue to the first film and thus felt “complete.” Again it all just boils down to potatoes to tomatoes and matters of opinions
Halloween 2 isn’t that great but I do love the ending. I think its cool because the fact that Michael Myers dies and Loomis sacrifices himself brings a lot of impact to “the night he came home”. He came home that 1978 night, killed a whole bunch of people, and the doctor who has been obsessed with stopping him all these years, decides to sacrifice himself to put an end to it. But I had a much better time watching Halloween Kills. I’m still gonna be watching both 1 and 2 back to back tonight though lol
I am not keen on any of these Halloween sequels tbh. I still believe Halloween 4 (despite the shoddy Myers' mask) to be the best sequel to the original franchise. It just oozes the atmosphere, and has great kills, Daniel Harris and Donald Pleasance are amazing. It's just an awesome movie all around.
Halloween 2 from 1981 is a classic and a great movie. Halloween Kills has some of the originals from the very first movie return, but this time the kills are just way more gorier. I love gore!! All of Rob Zombie movies are in a league of their own because he just loves to push the boundaries with all of his movies.
Atmosphere wise I think there both dark. Not so much Halloween decorations or fall vibes but dark. Neither movies stand out as far as Halloween vibes go for me
Halloween 2 is easily the best sequel, Halloween Kills is a piece of garbage that was written by a 5 year old!
Kylie everytime I comment the Michael actors name from Halloween 2 it disappears lol I guess u have words muted or something
I like them both. The original for nostalgia. They need one is just a friggin comet of a film. Any one who complained about this film I just don't get it. Myers was hard friggin core here.
Not the biggest fan of the franchise (season of the witch is my favorite i think that says enough) but I prefer halloween II all the way. In fact, I just finished Kills and I'm really surprised you liked it cause I thought it was almost as bad as resurrection but we all have our opinions at the end of the day. Also happy halloween!
I like Halloween 2 better, for me Halloween kills didn’t feel like a Halloween movie at all
Beautiful
No disrespect, but I personally tend to avoid people wearing capes.
Interesting comparison. I did not like Halloween Kills at all but I do love Halloween 2. Halloween 2 retained Michael's creepy stalking and selective killing from the first movie while Halloween Kills transformed Michael into an action packed killing machine. But I'm glad I saw Halloween Kills and I will see Ends when that comes out next year. I'm curious how they close this chapter out. Anyways, I will list many of the things I did not like about Halloween Kills=
1) Redundant dialogue. So many times we heard people say in the movie "evil dies tonight" like the movie was a broken record repeating itself. Also, Hawkins declared in the beginning of the movie that he needs to be the one to kill Michael Myers. Then later on, Laurie Strode says that she needs to be the one to kill Michael Myers. It's like it kept going back and forth about people saying they need to be the one to kill Michael Myers.
2) Characters being built up just to go nowhere in the end. Such as Tommy Doyle and his crew, they all showed some promise as significant characters but then they all get slaughtered in the end. Not to mention the enigma of the mental patient. I thought there was going to be something special about him since he returned from the last movie. But nope, he died too.
3) Many of the characters seemed melodramatic and even unemotional at times. Ray's death, from the last film, continues to not effect any of his family that much. Laurie continues yelling every chance she gets. Etc.
4) Some obvious movie goofs. The mental patient that jumps out the window of the hospital is clearly falling face first. But after he lands, the next shot has him on his back??? Then there was the woman dressed up like a nurse that was shooting (horribly) at Michael in the car. The car door was clearly open all the way. But right when she gets up to the car, the car door all of a sudden is almost closed and Michael kicks it open which hits the woman's hand and she shoots herself.
5) The flashback sequences I thought were very unnecessary especially since they added extra scenes to the original movie. Officer Hawkins accidentally shooting his partner was ridiculous to me. So was Hawkins stopping Loomis from shooting Michael. And of course the scene where Michael seemingly surrendering to the cops.
6) Most of the characters that had guns, couldn't even aim. It was like watching the stormtroopers from Star Wars constantly missing their targets.
7) How can that short pudgy mental patient with long hair, white clothes and no mask be confused with Michael Myers? Michael was wearing a mask during most of his killings. But he was in Smith's Grove for 40 years without a mask, the townspeople should know by now what he looks like. Any real life town would have the criminal's face on the tv, newspaper, etc. So it seemed very unrealistic to me how no one knew by that time.
8) I couldn't stand the ending. The mob, bringing bats and melee weapons, rather than guns. Well, one person had a hand gun. But still. If you're going to create a mob going after a vicious killer, I'm sure just about every town in the US will gather firearms. Then they beat him up, one person fires about 5 shots in his chest, Michael falls to the ground. But then he unsurprisingly gets up real fast and starts slaughtering the entire mob and then the next scene he somehow appears over by Karen who was somewhere else and kills her too. All this in anticlimactic slow motion.
Honestly As Goofy As Both Films Can Get At Certain Points & The Kills Definitely Serves In Each Film. I Kinda Prefer The Original Halloween 2 Film Over Halloween Kills. The Kills In Halloween Kills However... That's A Huge Win All By Itself. I Would Be Interested In Seeing A Carrie Oriented Comparison Video Between The Original & The 2013 Remake With Chloe Grace Moretz. I Watched It A Few Nights Ago & The Remake Still Holds Up Extremely Well. The Additions Of Judy Greer & Julianne Moore As Well, I Mean... How Could Any Horror Fan Not Like The Remake. But, Hey... Everyone Has Their Own Different Opinions About Horror Movies So More Power To Them.
Can you please rerank the franchise
Absolutely! Once Halloween Ends comes out!
Wait, wait... Now I wanna know your thoughts. What do you think is going on with Michael? Oooh, I gotta know. Also, I do like Halloween II, but I definitely prefer Halloween Kills. JJC just wins Michael over for me. He's the most important part of Halloween & getting him right is what matters most to me.
As I attempted to explain in the video, Michael is more the embodiment of collective fear. He’s like a walking metaphor. He exists because we let him exist
@@HauntedHippie I wrote that before I finished watching. 🤣🤣 But yes, I do agree with that! 😜
Imo, Halloween 2 (1981, not the god awful Rob Zombie version) is by far the better film and more superior than Kills. Kills has a couple of things going for it: good look to Michael and actor/stuntman playing him, great soundtrack, great kills, great flashback scene, but everything else just falls flat. There are instances that Michael is supernatural in Kills and throughout the series (teleports when he goes into a dead end street, literally survives a mugging where multiple people attack him, etc) but the creators say he is not, people in the movie literally look at pictures of Michael and the other escaped convict on the TV and get both of them confused, the whole evil dies tonight chant from everyone is just pure nonsense, legacy characters are treated poorly and some should not even be in the movie (Sheriff Brackett) the whole Laurie isn't the intended victim the whole time, it is actually Sheriff Hawkins really isn't that interesting because from the trailers in Ends, it looks like Laurie really is the target and the stuff with big Lil Jon and Big Jon seems like it was a last minute add on by McBride when DGG said they needed another scene to make it longer. I have seen this movie 1 and 3/4 now and I stop it about halfway through it, after watching it the day it came out on Peacock. I respect your opinion about the reasons why you like it and I'm glad you do like it, let's just agree to disagree, but no hard feelings at all.
I gotta tell ya Halloween kills was messed with alot during the year delay . I am going to say it I believe they filmed some of it in 2020 . It's heavily rumored that's it was . Some part of kills is a dream sequence or daydream probably of Micheal .
Yeah you look.amazing in that cape lol
I Don't know who you are, or why your coming up on my Feed, But Your A Cutie Pie!, & I ❤️ that you love Halloween 🎃 I'm A purist at Heart, & I'm Proud to say, I've Seen them ALL, except Robs 2 on the Big screen! Starting @ 6 y/ o in 78, & I've Gotta share with this Story, I'll NEVER FORGET how Terrified I was, seeing it, my Mom Took me to see it, & After Laurie poked him , & Then stabbed him, ...But When he sat up in front of that Damm closet!! 😳🥺 blew my Little kid Mind!🤯 & The Ride home wasn't fun Either, Because watching Grown adults scream, including Men!, 😱 I Remember ppl walking to their Cars & checking back Seats, I'm 50 yrs old, & I've NEVER HAD ANOTHER MOVIE DO THAT TO ME AGAIN!!.....OR SO I THOUGHT 3 yrs L8tr they captured lightning in a bottle Twice!, 😍 I know that John Hates 2 & calls it an abomination, but I believe it's because his hand was forced!! To me I considered, HALL🎃WEEN 1 & 2 As just one big movie, With a 3 yr intermission!!🤣😂🤣 not Bragging, well maybe just a 🤏😉Bit I know Everything about them all, watching Every DOCUMENTARY about it & YOU KNOW YOUR SHIT!!!😉 I loved the Score, it's my favorite of all Them!, Laurie's Theme is Beautifully haunting & I loved how Christopher Nelson paid Homage to H2 , if You Look Carefully 😍 when Lindsey loads the bricks into that Pillowcase, The Camera pulls in tight on Michael's mask, & That Iconic T is On the Forehead Between the brow! 😍 KEEP ON ROCKING, & KICKING ASS, IM NOW A SUBSCRIBER!😁
The characters in kills are a lot more annoying for me
'81 and it isnt even close 😂
For me, Halloween 2. It will always be the true sequel. Kills was just filler with dumb characters but hey Myers looked sweet and some decent kills. Plus it was cool in Halloween 2 to see Laurie and Dr Loomis in the same shot and battling Myers.
Good video, for me its Halloween II, Loomis was brilliant it had the best opening scene, i liked Micheal the look and the slower stiffer movement made sense he had been shot 6 times!
Errie hospital i liked, Bud lighted it up, the kills was creative, Micheal was stealthy and stalking which i like. Great ending.
The Sister twist im fine with because Micheal was never completely without motive, he went back to his hometown and house that is a motive there and whether Laurie is his sister or not when he locked eye's on her he followed and stalked her and had a motive to kill her regardless.
Halloween Kills i liked Micheal alot the look the movement even better than H2. He could of been more in the shadows i do think to willing to engage with numerous people, i prefer when he picks them off and is more cerebal.
But what i cant stand about Kills is the "Evil dies tonight" it was stupid and the hospital scene chasing that guy they thought was Micheal was stupid, Tommy Doyle was annoying and very badly acted.
I liked big john and little john other than Micheal they was the best part of the film.
Then Halloween Ends happened which is arguably the worst of all the Halloweens and that film completely killed that 3 film timeline which is a shame because Halloween 2018 was brilliant. I wish could have a timeline of Halloween, H2 and 2018 because they are 3 best films for me.
Halloween Ends was by no means the worst, I liked it the most from the new trilogy. No annoying and inappropriate humor, no annoying Laurie vs Michael setup throughout the film. But yes, it works better as a standalone movie. Halloween II is my favorite Halloween movie, and Dick Warlock is the best Myers for me. Interestingly, when Corey was wearing a mask, it was the first time that the image of the Shape was at least close to Warlock.
Halloween kills is good but the dialogue could of been better and actions of the characters.like tommy wasn't surprised.lots of mistakes., Halloween two 1981. Discuses more dialogue. And shows all kill seems . umm cops not at a house fire dahh
oh dang she got I.4k views in 14 hours she’s growing
Having Jamie Lee Curtis messing with the script for these movies is a joke DDG should of done his own thing I like kills but ends is going to be another story uhhh . Not a huge of JLC .
Awesome video! I just did Halloween ranking on my channel, about to do Child's Play soon.
I'd love to collab sometime!
As far as kills go dam. Like H2 and H6 are like the standard badass kills movies. Halloween kills had cool kills but it was too mortal Kombat for me. I loved Cameron and Phil's death. Fckn brutal. I might give the kills to H2, more real, more grit to me.
But I'm guessing that becouse Micheal killed Karen , Lorrie and Allison , instead of being smart and just get out of haddonfield , there gunna go after Micheal and most likely both die in ends
I do like Halloween Kills more than Halloween 2, but I do also have problems with Halloween Kills. I feel like the mob mentality angle wasn't handled well, it felt too forced. I think it could've worked well if it was done right but to me it ruined quite a bit of the movie.
I also think some of the deaths were kinda... eh? Like the girl that has a Desert Eagle and somehow manages to shoot with it, but not only that, miss every shot and then shoot herself in the face when Michael kicks the cardoor against her? Idk, to me that was just too "silly", it felt out of place. It gave me a chuckle, sure, but it did pull me out of the movie.
Shouldn't Halloween II be compared with Halloween 2018?
