I somehow missed this episode 6 years ago and am just now rediscovering it. Its like getting a brand new episode of Tabletop after all this time. At last a touch of light in 2020. Gods I miss this show.
There was just this precious moment. This half second between Wil refusing to believe he could ever win... and realizing he won. That small window into the heart where you watch a tired skepticism give way to childlike glee. That's what tableflip is about heh.
TABLETOP THURSDAY! In our season finale, ***** is joined by Miracle Laurie and The Doubleclicks for LORDS OF VEGAS! Stay tuned for updates on future #tabletop goodness!
Ah, Wil went out like a champ! That moment of revelation at the end was priceless. I love how the sibling guests on the show are consistently competing more intensely with each other than with the other players at the table. Great game. :}
Dollhouse! Oh, you magnificent beast for the ages. Woe to you who cannot remember Joss' extraordinary work! Your contributions to the divine work are well remembered, oh Lorie, and Fox will pay for crushing it... dearly.
Before watching TableTop I barely even knew who Wil Wheaton was. I only knew him from Star Trek and TBBT, and wasn't that interested. Now that I've started watching TableTop, I'm a huge fan ^.^
+Star Light I didn't know who Wil Wheaton was before I watched TableTop. As in I had never heard his name before. Yeah, I was that guy. And I still haven't seen him in anything else. So logically, to me, he'll first and foremost always be the awesome UA-cam board game host.
Well, should watch the now ended series, Leverage (Which ended on its own terms not canceled so double good). He is on that show a few times as jerk of a hacker goes by the hacker name "Chaos". And tell you he plays that character so well. You want to punch him. Just watch the series. It is good.
Same. I mean, I knew he could act. But the way his character on TNG was written was horrible and the writers just did not seem to know what to do with him. But he's also in one of my favorite movies, Toy Soldiers. I've always heard he was awesome to talk to and this series has really made me like him.
I was watching a con panel with Wil and other TNG actors yesterday, and I thought how cool would it be to see some of them together on this show. Like, Spiner, Burton and Frakes... that would make for a kickass episode.
Wil Wheaton: Thanks to you I'm hosting a game weekend at the Camp I manage in Minnesota with friends from 2nd grade to Junior High. We have been a great group of friends (13 of us) and we are in our 40's. My collection of games is at 74 Board, Card and Dice! Loving your show has increased this hobby 10 fold! Good thing I'm super active also or I'd have big beer belly :). Thanks a ton!
Excellent finale. :) Can't wait for season 3 and I hope they decide to toss up some Extended plays in the mean time. There are a TON of episodes I would like to see the full +/- 2 hours of. :)
This comment hurts, rewatching this many years later with G&S still around but a shell of it's former self, ruined by Legendary after the take over. To me it was over when Critical Role moved on to become their own company.
This has been my favourite youtube show for a few weeks now, it introduced me to a lot of cool games that I got to play later. Im looking forward to more episodes, hope you guys get to make them! Thanks a lot
And this is the kind of win I like to see. Where it's a close game and he ABSOLUTELY wins by just ONE decision he made. Not a complete stomping or dicking over another player, but one that is nail biting and great. he looks so elated, ESPECIALLY since he seemed so surprised that the end of the game card showed up.
Season 1 Wil Wheaton: 2 Wins out of 13 games (not including co-op team games) 15% Win Percentage Season 2 Wil Wheaton: 5 wins out of 18 games (not including co-op team games) 28% Win Percentage Your point is valid.
***** That's a pretty good percentage. I didn't actually do math. They play 4-player games so on average the one guy who's there 100% of the time should win about 25% of the time.
***** i just want to point out that in season 1, the 2 "wins" he had are not really as valid, in the 1st win, gloom, the victory was shared among 3 ppl, in star flux-the second win- it was a silly throw, so i wouldn't count it. that works out for (1/3)/13 = 2.56% win-rate for season one.
***** also, i'd like to add, in the 5 wins wil had in season 2, 2 of them are not exactly fair either as the game is asymmetric in shadow over Camelot, he's the traitor , and in Betrayal at House on the Hill, he's the traitor again, and basically turned into a video game boss Now you can argue that tthose are still wins, and that is true. but it does take some of that "will is not losing as often" magic off a bit.
Will Ferrous Firstly, I added Wil's Season 1 stats just for comparison purposes. His Season 1 win percentage wasn't that great, so him arguing that he doesn't win was justifiable. And secondly, sure Shadow Over Camelot and Betrayal were asymmetric, but both sides in both games were still balanced. Plus, he was part of a three-person team and still lost to a two-person team in The Resistance, where nobody had any sort of special power, so saying that those wins were "not exactly fair" isn't a very convincing argument.
***** as much as i hate to agree with a follower of the arcane lord... he is correct in that it is a REALY DUMB move to read the comments under a vid and not ecpect to see something about the vid. its what the comment section is for! so shut up, dont read befor watshing or dont complain if you do (oh and dont expect polite answers if your first comment is an insult ^^)
Miracle is one of my favorite Tabletop guests. Such sass and flourishes! Grats, Wil. Stop complaining about not winning on Tabletop, you've won plenty at this point. Now you're just a contestant. ... Has Felicia ever won?
Joshua O'Kelley honorary how? sorry i forgot some of that episode, t though the other game is more unbalanced i feel like Edit: i thought this is another thread
LOVE the show Wil! Make more episodes please and any chance we could get a full cast appearance of "The Guild" episode. Would love to see Robin, Jeff and Vincent on.
You don't actually know what time they're filming this so it's possible that it's the afternoon where being up for 13 hours already means it's probably going to be a long day
Another great episode of TableTop. This game is a lot of fun. For those going to pick it up, I recommend hitting up a thrift store to find some middle-of-the-row poker chips to pimp out your game. Its a lot more fun to play with the poker chips vs. the paper money that comes with the game and makes it feel more vegas-y. :)
I think I'd rather see a whole new campaign from level 1 including character creation rather then the continuation/restart of the Acquisitions inc. crew adventures. Oh and Aoefel can't exist in the next universe, no Eladrin race and no Avenger class.
DFTGamer I agree that they should start a new campaign if they want to make a regular show out of it, but I want to address this line: "Oh and Aoefel can't exist in the next universe, no Eladrin race and no Avenger class." The 4e eladrin were pretty much just high elves. Sun and moon elves, the most common elf race in the Forgotten Realms setting, were changed from being a high elf subrace to an eladrin subrace in 4e. I have no source to back this elf, but Aoefel was probably a sun or moon elf and I'm assuming they're not getting rid of those races in 5e Realms. As for the "avenger" class, it's always a possibility with future source material. Either way, they probably could use another class or class combination to fit the character.
Thoroughly enjoying the series. To paraphrase Charlie Brooker (in his review of Doctor Who), "Tabletop is a great big smile of a show." Yup! Says it all.
You sold me on this game within the first 3 minutes just explaining the basic rules. Mr. Wheaton, you get a gold star by your name. "LUCK be a lady (and another one, and another one, and a dude named Wil) TONIGHT..."
Man, I really hope Wil Wheaton will play Mansions of Madness some day. Like, in a Halloween-themed episode. And him being the keeper, of course. If everybody dresses up too, as their 1920s investigators... That'd be great. (wil should wear a cultist robe, though.)
Awwwww Miracle! What a great attitude, though! I would have been all, "Alright, I know you have some real hidden around here somewhere. " Hearts and Stars to all!
Where do I pay my money to see "The Bear and the Chanteuse Fair"? I would be all for seeing Celine Dion if it involves her being in a pit with a live bear.
if the game ends when the game over card comes up, couldn't the game end within like the first couple rounds? that seems like a weird way to decide when the game ends. maybe I'm missing something though.
I somehow missed this episode 6 years ago and am just now rediscovering it. Its like getting a brand new episode of Tabletop after all this time. At last a touch of light in 2020. Gods I miss this show.

It's TABLETOP! With US! This was so much fun to play & film! Enjoy!
PleasePleasePlease make this Dungeons & Dragons Cirque du Soleil show.
Geoffrey Peterson Celine Dion vs Owl-Bears, now that would be awesome.
Geoffrey Peterson Cirque de Cachot et Dragon
Bethor Azrael I thought Celine Dion *WAS* an owl-bear.?.?
Dungeons and Dragons + Vegas -> That Fantasy World
That face when wil won. It could melt icy hearts across the world.
Wil's reaction when he realizes he just won is adorable!
Whoever edits in the owl bear into every episode is a genius.
TABLETOP THURSDAY!

Geek & Sundry hi
"Not only did I win, I also didn't lose!" - Wil Wheaton (2014)
@Kyler Reuben Well I didn’t need to know that but okay!
Ah, Wil went out like a champ! That moment of revelation at the end was priceless. I love how the sibling guests on the show are consistently competing more intensely with each other than with the other players at the table. Great game. :}
Dollhouse! Oh, you magnificent beast for the ages. Woe to you who cannot remember Joss' extraordinary work! Your contributions to the divine work are well remembered, oh Lorie, and Fox will pay for crushing it... dearly.
She mentioned Joss Whedon and I thought she mispronounced Wil Wheaton, lol.
And she was amazing on Dollhouse.
I have watched all the episodes and I just NOW noticed, Wil is left-handed.
OH YEA
Before watching TableTop I barely even knew who Wil Wheaton was. I only knew him from Star Trek and TBBT, and wasn't that interested. Now that I've started watching TableTop, I'm a huge fan ^.^
+Star Light I didn't know who Wil Wheaton was before I watched TableTop. As in I had never heard his name before. Yeah, I was that guy. And I still haven't seen him in anything else. So logically, to me, he'll first and foremost always be the awesome UA-cam board game host.
You really need to watch Stand By Me dude.
One of my top 5 favorite movies.
Well, should watch the now ended series, Leverage (Which ended on its own terms not canceled so double good). He is on that show a few times as jerk of a hacker goes by the hacker name "Chaos". And tell you he plays that character so well. You want to punch him. Just watch the series. It is good.

I've always heard he was awesome to talk to and this series has really made me like him.
YEA! That's where you've been these past few weeks, OwlBear! We've finally found you! It's good to see you again.
I love how Miracle kept dancing and flourishing the whole time. :D
Also: Yay Doubleclicks on Tabletop!
Also also: Woo! Well done Wil!
I was watching a con panel with Wil and other TNG actors yesterday, and I thought how cool would it be to see some of them together on this show. Like, Spiner, Burton and Frakes... that would make for a kickass episode.
That would be. AMAZING
Why not Stewart? 'Get the boy off the bridge!"
I love wills reaction when he wins, its like a child discovering Christmas lol. xx
The look on Will's face as he slowly realised he won was just fantastic :P
Wil Wheaton: Thanks to you I'm hosting a game weekend at the Camp I manage in Minnesota with friends from 2nd grade to Junior High. "It involves rolling dice! It's only a matter of time"
- me after losing 10 armys against a single army in risk
I just love the look of pure, unadulterated joy on Wil's face when he realises!
"Not only did I win, I also didn't lose." Quite.
I love Wil's expression when he wins. It's so pure and gleeful :)
Excellent finale. :)
Can't wait for season 3 and I hope they decide to toss up some Extended plays in the mean time. There are a TON of episodes I would like to see the full +/- 2 hours of. :)
Wil, you need to win more! The face you get the second you've realized you won is priceless. :)
Thanks Geek & Sundry for noticing what your fanbase loves. Giving us more TableTop more often was a good choice.
This comment hurts, rewatching this many years later with G&S still around but a shell of it's former self, ruined by Legendary after the take over. To me it was over when Critical Role moved on to become their own company.
great episode. The look that erupts onto ***** 's face starting at 31:00 is priceless. Well played sir. =)
I would love to be able to subscribe to TableTop without having to also subscribe to the rest of Geek & Sundry's offerings.
I love that the owl bear still pops up.
Love that the owlbears are still a reoccurring thing.
nothing perks up the day like discovering a gorgeous cellist her quirky duet, bravo tabletop.
Love the reoccurring owl bear in this season!
The owlbear has basically become Tabletop's mascot.
This has been my favourite youtube show for a few weeks now, it introduced me to a lot of cool games that I got to play later.
Im looking forward to more episodes, hope you guys get to make them!
Thanks a lot
Dollhouse actress appearance! Excellent.
Loved this episode! Wil's enthusiasm throughout the show was great!
God i wish this was an everyday thing its so addicting to watch
Miracle!
Miracle looks amazing
BEST description of Las Vegas I've ever heard!
I love it when Will wins.
The look on Will's face when he realized he won was so priceless. Good job Will.
Can't wait for next season.
Finally got a chance to watch this. Looks like fun!
A small part of me is disappointed no one made it rain.
Wil's face at the end when he's counting all the points is priceless!
*SPOILERS*
I love how when Wil won at the end it actually took his brain a minute to process that fact.
The first few seconds, he blinks a lot... 'I won... does not compute... does not compute...'
Many congratulatory noises, Wil! I was filled with joy, seeing how much you enjoyed your far-too-rare win. :-)
How about a second episode of Fiasco? :)
Awwww I love how excited Miracle got when Wil won!
Wil's been winning a lot lately. The jokes about how he often loses on Tabletop no longer apply.
Season 1 Wil Wheaton: 2 Wins out of 13 games (not including co-op team games) 15% Win Percentage
Season 2 Wil Wheaton: 5 wins out of 18 games (not including co-op team games) 28% Win Percentage
Your point is valid.

The look on Wil's face.
SPOILERS FFFFFFFFFF
Thanks, great...smart...your channel will not have me along its viewers then...
Spoiler removed.
***** these are the comments on the video, next time watch the video first

I love watching Tabletop, thank you!
"NOT ONLY DID I WIN, I ALSO DIDN'T LOSE!"
And then Wil won the redundancy award.
WONDERFUL episode. Thank you!!
Miracle is one of my favorite Tabletop guests. Such sass and flourishes!
Grats, Wil. Stop complaining about not winning on Tabletop, you've won plenty at this point. Now you're just a contestant.
... Has Felicia ever won?
Never alone, but in teams at least once or twice.
Maeth42 i think it's important to point out that she have one non-coop game win, it's a shared victory but boy did she fooled Wil that game.
Miracle was such a bitch. Glad that Wil won this time.
Will Ferrous Are you talking about Fortune and Glory? Because... that was the most honorary of honorary victories I have ever seen.
Joshua O'Kelley honorary how? sorry i forgot some of that episode, t though the other game is more unbalanced i feel like
Edit: i thought this is another thread
Thanks for a great season, I hope filming for season 3 starts soon!
Miracle made me cry in doll house :(
LOVE the show Wil! Make more episodes please and any chance we could get a full cast appearance of "The Guild" episode. Would love to see Robin, Jeff and Vincent on.
"At this point, I've been up for 13 hours".
Isn't that perfectly normal? Assuming a full 8 hours of sleep, you spend 16 hours awake every single day.
I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he meant to say working for 13 hours ahah, I mean it's still not a ton but ehh
You don't actually know what time they're filming this so it's possible that it's the afternoon where being up for 13 hours already means it's probably going to be a long day
I'm just glad he wasn't talking about a Viagra mishap!
I love Wil Wheaton he just has an amazing personality!!!
I call foul!! I INSIST on having those dice sent to a lab for a full evaluation!!
Another great episode, I LOVE tabletop :-D, I hope one day to see Will & friends play Rune Wars or Conquest of Nerath.
1:30 Oh behold it's the Beholder it's something to behold.
Another great episode of TableTop. This game is a lot of fun. For those going to pick it up, I recommend hitting up a thrift store to find some middle-of-the-row poker chips to pimp out your game. Wil Wheaton may not be a Lord of Waterdeep, but he is the Lord of Vegas! (Much better payout, after all.)
Wil Wheatons face at the end is so priceless.
Request: when D&D next is released please do a multi game campaign.
Acquisitions Inc. Bring back Aoefel.
I think I'd rather see a whole new campaign from level 1 including character creation rather then the continuation/restart of the Acquisitions inc. crew adventures.
Oh and Aoefel can't exist in the next universe, no Eladrin race and no Avenger class.
That sounds like it should be a different series altogether. Doesn't sound like fun to watch on Tabletop.
Kelann08
why not make a different series? I'd watch it.
DFTGamer I agree that they should start a new campaign if they want to make a regular show out of it, but I want to address this line: "Oh and Aoefel can't exist in the next universe, no Eladrin race and no Avenger class."

This is one of my favorite games. Maybe this episode will get it back on my group's table more often. :)
I think Geek and Sundry should develop a second tabletop show dedicated to showing tabletop games that don't fit well in the Tabletop show.
0:25 "...all paid for by visitors who don't understand probability." 🤣 Yassss.
Man, I really hope Wil Wheaton will play Mansions of Madness some day. Like, in a Halloween-themed episode. And him being the keeper, of course.
If everybody dresses up too, as their 1920s investigators... That'd be great.
(wil should wear a cultist robe, though.)
This was a great episode of Table Top to watch on my birthday.
Happy cake-day to you! Hurray!
Kristian Lauridsen Mmm, cake.
Dungeons and Dragons show? Will there be an Owlbear fight?
Wil Wheaton, you are an inspiration.
you know what? I am gonna play more games.
please play Letters from Whitechapel. thank you.
I love how excited Miracle got when the result was revealed :)
He says he never wins. He wins every other episode it seems.
Not including any of the coop games, Wil has only won 11 times.
Nice to see Wil win on the season finale. Congrats on getting another win
Miracle is gorgeous and she knows it
Thank you Wil Wheaton.
Can we get some more of Aubrey please
yeah i got a secret crush on aubrey
Awwwww Miracle! What a great attitude, though! I would have been all, "Alright, I know you have some real hidden around here somewhere. "
Hearts and Stars to all!
19:46 -----> The Owlbear Returns!!!!
The Owlbear is killing me! Keep 'em coming!
Where do I pay my money to see "The Bear and the Chanteuse Fair"? I would be all for seeing Celine Dion if it involves her being in a pit with a live bear.
AWESOME EPISODE! Love the guests, too. Will definitely be checking out the twin's site later :)
Miracle is still a winner
What a great season finale, can not wait for season 3, how much longer? Bring on the extended episodes :D
So Wil is surrounded by women, and "just keeps scoring." I am disappointed in the lack of innuendos this led to.
NessOnett8 he was tired... you can tell
+NessOnett8 Well, she didn't say it during the game really, just when she was alone, so no opportunity for innuendo sadly...
Please bring this show back!!!!
The salt is real in Miracle.
Seeing Wil win was awsome and I don't know why but I was laughing when he did.
if the game ends when the game over card comes up, couldn't the game end within like the first couple rounds? that seems like a weird way to decide when the game ends. maybe I'm missing something though.
Look forward to next season...thanks for some great gaming and crazy conversation
I love table top. next season you guys need to get jessie cox back or wowcrendor
needs to have jessie cox, dodger and TB in the same episode
Congratulations on your win Will Wheaton! I liked this game, I'm thinking about getting it
That Owlbear...
"Not only did I win, I also didn't lose!" is one of the greatest quotes ever!
