This is very nice, thank you for the idea Kelly. Liked shared to my Facebook and subscribed for all notifications. You can also use it as a box for flower arranging if you keep the top flap open and place your cellophane and paper/felt/foam flowers inside and add a basic stand to the back so it will stand up. I think it would be lovely for Christmas time especially and in hospitals where flowers are not allowed xx Jean from Scotland.
Thanks for the video. Will definitely have to try this size. I like to put my cards in place, before gluing the sides down, this helps the cards fit snug and it's easier to press down!
Thank you so much for explaining this so clearly to me. I was watching another video and they did this different. My box didn't turn out. I will try it this way and I am sure it will be better. :)
thanks for the instructions! just a heads up that the second score line should be at 4.5 inches and not 4 inches as you mentioned in your video (if the two score lines are supposed to be one inch apart)
I love this box and it is perfect for what I need, but I need it to fit a stand calendar that is 6x61/2. The calendar has a ring binding comb on the top which is included in the 6 1/2 needed for the top flap and I cannot for the life of me figure the dimensions that I need to make this box envelope! The calendar is between 1/4 -1/2 in thick. Can you help me please?
Carmella Bradley So sorry to just now be getting back with you on this, Carmella. I hope you figured out the size you needed for your calendar. Using the Envelope Punch Board for odd sized boxes can be a bit tricky, wink.
Akimat, thank you for your comment. This project is specified to the Envelope Punch Board. There are many ways to make envelopes using a score board but this particular envelope box is created using a punch board. I bet if you do some searching you will find all kinds of fun videos for your score board. Best wishes!
+kristin forrester Hey Kristin, my best tip is to try it with card stock instead of decorative paper (unless you're using super thick decorative paper.) The card stock seems a bit easier to work with on this box. The trick is to have something inside the box before adhering the sides... I used a clear stamp block. I hope that makes sense. Best wishes! And thanks for watching!
