Gordon's band mates are true professional musicians . I'm delighted that they are performing Gordon's songs for fans all over Canada and USA . God Bless them .
Well done gentlemen. Really pleased you figured this all out to keep going instead of a tribute band, not that a tribute band is a bad thing, just cool that you got together to do this.
I started out smiling and ended up in tears. I am so happy that Rick, Barry, Michael, Carter, and Andy are keeping Gordon's legacy and catalogue of songs alive. You are such an incredibly talented note-perfect orchestra. Welcome aboard, Andy - well done, thank you.
They are just wonderfully talented people who have big hearts and big smiles and just friendly giving guys and the wonderful homebody people very talented. We like them.
Gordon Lightfoot was one of the best songwriters in the world. He was also one of the greatest artists in the world. Loved GL since I was a child. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING HIS WONDERFUL SONGS ALIVE. GREAT performance for sure. PLEASE DON'T STOP. I saw Gordy in T.O. a couple years ago. I'd like to see you all one day as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Is that Rick Haynes ? Top class bassist. Singer sounds great, pretty much in the GL vein. Lead guitarist is very good, too. Beautiful. It takes real skill to play this music, as it requires more ability than effects.
Great to see the band and the sound live on. Fun to hear Rick's story -- banter, forward harmony vocals, a few showboat ruffs -- some things rarely if ever seen when Gord himself was on stage.
I hope to see you guys in concert sometime. I don't expect you to actually do these songs, but here are a few favourites : *Cabaret. *Carefree Highway. *Approaching Lavender. *The Watchman's Gone. *Did She Mention My Name ? But EVERYTHING by Gordon Lightfoot are favourites of mine.
Love it. I've been a Gord fan for the last 40 years or more. I was fortunate to finally see him live a few years ago. So glad to see they're keeping his music going. The new guy does alright.😊
Each of you has earned the right to continue on with what you have brought into being decades ago. Next time will you get someone with a good camera who can be dedicated to the visuals and bring each one of you forward intermittently? You have been part of our lives through Red and Terry and Barry Harvey as well as Gord. We're still here. We're glad that you are too.
Uploading in only 360p? it's 2024 1080p is the minimum you should upload. Also why on earth didn't you turn your phone sideways to flim it full screen? Thanks for the vid but pure rookie..

Keeping Gordon Lightfoot in the spotlight. Very emotional. Great tribute. Thanks for posting.
This band is so polished - Andy came in early on the tag of 'Rainy Day People' and the band totally took it in stride!

So True!! Love it

The main guitarist not only looks like Mr Lightfoot but his voice is very similar - amazing ... great music - timeless . 🎸🇨🇦🏆🎼🎼🎼🎼✨

I miss Gordon a lot 😢

It’s the whole band at the time of Gords passing. Rick, Mike, Barry, and Carter. Now with Andy Mauck up front…
That was what I thought when I first got here: is that Rick Haynes?😂

Wonderful to keep his music alive. Can't wait to see a show as I never got to see Gordon live.
what a wonderful way for Lightfoot to live on...
He's excellent, sounds just like Gordon!!!

Wow. That's awesome. Gonna see you in belleville
Keeping Gord's music alive and LIVE! Wonderful. Any tours planned for the US Midwest?
Thank you so much for recording this for us! It brought back so many wonderful memories! I LOVED it!
If anybody is gonna keep the spirit alive this guy can wow......
❤
Great job men keep gordons music alive
Any US shows planned? Patchogue Theater on Long Island would be perfect

Cool concept, if a little odd!
Sounds good. More like Gordon before he started losing his voice.
Exactly what I said. 👌
I wonder why he didn't allow the band to sing along with him in his later years, the aneurysm in '02 and stroke in '06 robbed him of his voice.
London Ontario date’s?
I think they got the wrong guy. Brian Ekard could blow Andy Mauck out of the water.
Is this Gordy's twin?

Wah wah wah wah! Jesus..
@@Shawn-ky2twBe patient and supportive and good things will come.
Hard to watch this. There will never be a good tribute band although these guys sound ok.
