I will be forever grateful if Jeff rides his bike while making Moto sounds with a kazoo. That would be worth at least five internets, or twenty crispy high-fives.
What an informative vid. May be more info than we need, lol! Added toilet paper to my pack just now. Great tip. Small flask of whiskey for medicinal purposes only, of course... sling shot is priceless! I carry several marbles instead of golf ball, just my preference. Kazoo tip was new to me, but I now understand how important it is, should probably be state law, lmao! In addition to your pack inventory, I carry a multi spoke wrench, a chain break tool, and a small adjustable wrench. Have not used these on MY bike on the trail yet, but have helped many a fellow rider out on the trail, riding older, less expensive rides... just sayin'. Also carry some antibiotics ointment, first aid purposes... combined with whiskey, see above! Also always have some ibuprofen stashed, never know when she may pull the "I've got a headache" routine, lol! Another great vid, thanks so much!
I have been riding with a bag less and less lately and it's so good. My bike probably looks silly to some people with everything strapped to it but I love it.
Great vid. I ride MX and Enduro motorcycles also and use a Kreiga R20 for every 2 wheel ride I have including bicycles. Harness system is way better than anything in the hiking/biking market. Rock solid.
I have a evoc free ride enduro bag 16 litres I have a hydration pack and pack a shock pump multi tools master link aswell as spare inner tubes and some nourishment.
Not only do I ride with an extra derailleur cable, but I also pack SRAM syringes and DOT fluid because you never know when the brakes need an on-trail bleed.
One of the good things about our trails is that you don't need a pack. Also with there being no rocks, I've yet to flat. And I doubt it will ever happen. Although next week I'm supposed to be riding in St. Louis which has rocks. So I'll have to get my shit together for sure.
One saftey item that I always carry in my bag are a couple of prophylactics. You never know when you might need one out on a ride. This reminds me, I should check the expiry date on the ones that I've had in my bag for the past 25 years…?
In addition to what you carry you could have an spare tubeless valve, valve core, presta to shraeder adaptor just in case you have to use a gas station air pump, derailleur hanger
I ride in the southern AZ desert. A good large tooth comb is an absolute necessity. If you know anything about Cholla cactus, you'll understand what the comb is for.
Only fault is the Starbucks bit.. As a Kiwi from NZ where we have a big cafe culture I can tell you Starbucks is horrendous.. If you drink a double shot espresso you will be "cranking" before you get to the trails. Then you'll be able to get rid of the TP & free some space up for some more essentials ;) BTW the kazoo was on point!
OK now the SLINGSHOT actually makes sense, and here's why... If you're racing, you get up ahead early and duck into the bushes. Hide there, and one-by-one pick-off other bikers with the slingshot. Once you've disadvantaged them and they're tending to their injuries, get on your bike and take-off to the finish line. As you're approaching the finish, make KaZoo noises and they'll THINK you won because you have a motor-bike and the others couldn't keep up w/you. As long as there are NO cameras on the race trail, and you had a good hiding spot with the slingshot, your story MAY hold up in court... ~JSV
The only stupid questions are the questions you don't ask! I run tubeless but carry a small tube to install if the tubeless setup fails via puncture or something that sealant will not resolve. Then you have a chance of making it back home!
Haha I thought that was a pretty good little sneaky joke and very few people noticed it. Nice job Peter! We actually keep a few different things of nail polish in our tool box for touching up bikes and components and painting little bolts and knobs and things black 😁 Or maybe that's a lie and I do actually paint my nails. Only God will ever know.
What do you guys think of what Jeff caries in his bag? Is he missing anything? Let us know!
What about a pump? No fancy carbon fiber 10g pump?
Definitely missing a rubber chicken.
You forgot a sky hook to hang your bike on when working on it out on the trail without trees 😀 Funny as always fellas
Condoms and a couple of Marlboros?
hair biscuit, wet wipes and a Glock 19...
I will be forever grateful if Jeff rides his bike while making Moto sounds with a kazoo. That would be worth at least five internets, or twenty crispy high-fives.
Can you make a video to explain how the 26” inner tube works on 27,5 and 29 wheels
You step on one side and pull just make sure you spin it around while doing it
Or you could carry a 29in tube and fold it over itself for the smaller sizes.
@@kwilson4880 thats heavier
@@kwilson4880 and bigger
I keep a couple of extra baseball cards to replace the one taped to the chain stay, slight touching the spokes for that moto sound.
The only issue is that the whisky wasn't in the bladder
Yeah or he needs to get an adaptor for that hose to fit on the top of the wiskey bottle. So he can just get a couple swigs before he sends something.
I like that you made a complete joke out of what's in my bag segment
Best whats in my bag ever.
haha thanks for the feedback!
The straight face. Classic. Love this Bike Shop.
Not what I expected. Better than I expected. Mini hands part killed me.
You had me at the epic kazoo performance! +1 subscriber!
Never thought of just using a 26" tube for all the different wheel sizes. That is cool.
Fixed a 29er flat once with a 26er tube and rode it that way until the tire wore out.
Does this go for plus tires as well...say a 27.5+ 2.5 tire?
@@Fresh2Salt if it's a wide enough tube I don't see why not (26x2.4)
This whole vid was a joke so I can’t tell if you all trolling or actually serious about the innerchangable tube (I’m not a MTBer). 🤔
@@SeanoHermano rubber stretches.... 😉
We need a whole video of Jeff just talking about how to make dirt bike kazoo noises
Yeah they actually should make one, just because they can! lol
Making Kazoo noise:. Top 5 MTB skills to be a great rider.

hahaha great feedback thanks for watching!
Love the 2-stroke sound! Can you add some smoke and castor oil smell too?
I have been riding with a bag less and less lately and it's so good. My bike probably looks silly to some people with everything strapped to it but I love it.
Ordering kazoo now
Haha i was just looking for some mtb gear and i just found your channel perfect timing.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
lol is used way to much. I actually laughed out loud when you played the kazoo!
Great video tips! The best was the dirt bike sounds with the kazoo! Great stuff!
When I bring my pack I usually have a shock pump in it. I like to tinker and try different setups.
I literally LOL’d at the kazoo.
And the even funnier thing is he really does ride with a kazoo, the whiskey and a sling shot. The Winnie the Pooh TP is a must for sure.
Great vid. I ride MX and Enduro motorcycles also and use a Kreiga R20 for every 2 wheel ride I have including bicycles. Harness system is way better than anything in the hiking/biking market. Rock solid.

I don't have a kazoo or tiny hands in my pack but I do have that Crank bros M19 multi tool and pair of glowing bike nuts for night rides :)
Whiskey got me ;) Nice vid :)
Whiskey. I ALWAYS forget the Whiskey. DAMMIT
That is why we are here to educate :)
Not only do I ride with an extra derailleur cable, but I also pack SRAM syringes and DOT fluid because you never know when the brakes need an on-trail bleed.
Really?!
5:17 that is GOLD! I thought it was a pipe at first hahahaah
Haha yeah, I could see how it could look like it!
@@WorldwideCyclery I love the dirt bike sounds though!
Great tips! That tp is clutch

Holy moly, I like the content of the last pocket. The Kazoo was hilarious where can I find those? 🤣🤣🤣 not to mention the whiskey 🥃🤟🏼
I love the kazoo idea!!!! I think that idea will go national!!
Toilet paper is definitely an essential. I keep mine in a ziploc so that it stays dry even in wet conditions.
"what's in your bag" videos are the best
Entertaining as always hahaha. Liked and Shared.
Didn’t know that about tubes, nice tip!
One saftey item that I always carry in my bag are a couple of prophylactics. You never know when you might need one out on a ride. This reminds me, I should check the expiry date on the ones that I've had in my bag for the past 25 years…?
Bet that whiskey bottle works great as a back protector as well. Protection and pain killer all in one. Great video as always.
Missing:
Turkey sandwich
Rod Stuart greatest hits CD
Emergency contact info for B.w. Bobo.
This is the guy u want on every ride
I carry zip ties also but I also carry Velcro strips. Because I broke my saddle and Velcro made it stay because the zip ties just snapped
In addition to what you carry you could have an spare tubeless valve, valve core, presta to shraeder adaptor just in case you have to use a gas station air pump, derailleur hanger

Haha great video mate! Definitely have to put some whiskey on my bag 😁
Have you ever used that pack pliars to remove a tire? It destroyed the bead on my tire when I used it.
Whiskey AND kazoo the most essential
I like the price tag on this toilet paper
Whisky ftw!
These are essentials!
Loved it,
Must master the kazoo skill to be a better rider.
I have an idea, you attach the kazoo to a mini fan and you put that just somewhere in the frame and boom, dirt bike
Nice vid 🤘
Very funny vid!
Haha I'm glad I watched the whole video. Invaluable tips. Serious and some not... Or maybe...

Do you carry 4t Kazoos as well? Here in CA 2t are pretty much outlawed now. Yours should be grandfathered in tho
I had black nailpolish in ma bag to cover up frame/fork scratches. edit: got many weird looks for it xD
Can you make a review of santa cruz hightower lt vs yeti sb150 need help guys
As always great video hey I want a worldwide cyclery tee
Hahahahaha The Slingshot was the Best hahaha.....Thanks
Whisky is all good for those long rides 😂😂🤘🇹🇹
26 inch inner tubes will extand too much and get thinner on a 29er, it can easily cause pinch flats
just trying to get back to the vehicle not ride "the tour divide"..
Yup!

So that CO2 head can close off the air after use so you don’t waste air?
Love the whiskey
Yo! Rear hook derailleur , chain tool,
Wrist rocket. Good ergonomics or bad for the environment; your opinion, go!
Funnny 🤙
hand tire pump and extra derailleur hanger
Well I must say I didn’t see some of those items coming 😂😂
Some essentials for a not so typical ride.
Question! Why was the toilet paper priced at $10?
Always buy in bulk! Haha I go with the 12 pack, never know what can happen 😉
I bet you'd pay $100 for it at the right time and place.
LOL..... I gotta visit you guys sometime...
Jeff, how do I get to your level?
Is that Yeti whiskey or cologne?
You forgot the bricks and the bike stand for those most important selfie.
What’s wrong with the computer in the background, someone forgot to put a picture up lol
I know we dropped the ball!
Lmao the toilet paper. Good advice.
Stupid question: Why do you carry a spare tube? You are Running tubeless or not?
The only stupid questions are the questions you don't ask! I run tubeless but carry a small tube to install if the tubeless setup fails via puncture or something that sealant will not resolve. Then you have a chance of making it back home!
Worldwide Cyclery thanks a lot for the answer! I almost gave away my 26 spares.
got to have whisky from Yeti
He forgot the weed! LoL!!
Next video idea: what's in Jeff's pockets.
Google Assistant looking for the nearest Sharkey's.
You could definitely pour that whiskey in the bladder so you won't have to carry the bottle
I dont like when tiny hands touch my ears....
First aid kit?
We all just gonna glaze over the fact Jeff said he likes to paint his fingernails?
Haha I thought that was a pretty good little sneaky joke and very few people noticed it. Nice job Peter!

Please more kazoo. Please
Always need toilet paper lol and whisky 🤑🤙
No haribo or skittles? :-( Also, gotta get me a kazoo!
Haha that's a tough one but it has to be Haribo! Can't ignore the fact they make a bunch of different flavors and styles.
Was that a downhill Kazoo or enduro? Too far away to see......so........anyone? Asking for a friend.
That's my enduro Kazoo!
No interesting image on the computer screen ?!!?
Nice Catch!
