@@iffysd9864 looll that's not her doing tho, it's his LIFE story😂 she's fleshing out certain parts of that and asking specific questions (which she does an amazing job at, I agree) but it's his story, if his story was not all that, doesn't matter what questions you asked, it will be arrrrsssee🙂

I’ll have to put my hands up and say that I prejudged poet and the beginning of the interview based on my preconceived conceptions about him, but I prayed that God would remove all judgment from my spirit to allow me to hear his message in a different light. And boy oh boy has he transformed my idea of him. Poet is super articulate and super intelligent and I love how he’s is for our people. He opened my mind and I also now know how I want to behave when occupy the industry space.

There’s a specific thing about Poet that made me so interested in his character from when I came across Dats a Wrap show on Channel U as a 13 year old boy to rediscovering his content at 16 on copa90 to filthyfellas to halfcast pod to pretty much anything and everything he produces or is a part of, after this interview I realised it’s simply because he is himself. Throughout life, people try so hard to follow trends or try to fit in that everyone eventually blends into the crowd and everyone is a copy of the next person, it kills creativity, it kills independence and it kills what makes one unique. Whether it’s showing his uniqueness through content or fashion or even through his emotions, at the end of the day he is himself, someone who truly appreciates things and expresses it regardless of societal pressures. Just a genuine nice guy👏🏾👏🏾

I've been watching Poet for a while now. He is way before his time. This is poet at his finest. My favorite thing about him is his passion for his people and his culture. One thing I must say is often when people are raised in broken homes or environment is cracked..people often seek to repair outside the home. Although ye has clearly shown is pain and disappointment in not being able to raise his kids the way he would like to..he still gets up most days and makes a difference to the world. Love him or not he's an important part of our culture. And dat is dat. FLOWERS EVERYTIME!!💛💚💙💜🖤🤍❤💯
