this was cool, like one on one, I liked it, can't wait to see the new car, thanks wild Bill, love the channel, keep doing what you do, go get`em in 25 🏁🏁
Enjoyed this Much !! For those of us that have hung up our wrenches it brings back some wonderful memories of our days in the race shops !! Thank You !!
The Chilli Bowl is probably the best run dirt event in the US when you consider the shear number of racers and races put on. I did like this garage chat, Billy. I hope you do more. Maybe sometime give your take on these young racers coming up in the pro ranks.
I haven't watched a NASCAR race for over ten years. The new way of becoming a champion there is flat out stupid to me. I've been a sprint car fan since before 1975 and it's still the best form of racing around.
Remember Silver Springs in the 1990’s were sterling marlin, dale Jarrett, Michael Waltrip, Davey Allison and a couple other ones I think Harry Gant and one of the bodine brothers was there racing the local late models ( The House Was Packed like sardines).
Enjoyed the video. I like the memory lane stories. Your era coming up growing up at Lincoln was the same time as mine. Great time and great Memories!! Keep sharing them
There are few things more entertaining that building a new car from the frame up even if you are just using old parts from last year. I'm an engineer and it was always fun to find some little thing that I could improve in some way or to make a specialty tool that decrease frustration. And in the end you know you put in every single bolt and torqued them correctly and used loctite everywhere you could. Confidence in your car. Something I never had in someone else's car. It's nice to get a ride but it was always a little flinchy to me.
I would be willing to bet if one of the "big networks" carried dirt racing, the views would bet greater than "NASCAR". But then again my heart is in dirt. Back in the day my heros were Ray Tilly and Mitch Smith etc
A possible future topic could be fan interaction. It seems like a forbidden discussion but one that must be had to keep the sport growing and keeping fans involved.
@@timwaggoner3339 thanks for the comment. I had a good season and got a buck in archery season. The reason I stopped posting videos is several times the deer saw me in stand moving the camera and all my gear. It really took the enjoyment away from the hunt for me. I can definitely be way more undetectable without everything hanging around the stand.
@ totally understand that I’m a hunter and like you said it’s hard enough getting a shot without being noticed and then add all the movement when adjusting the camera isn’t worth scaring that possible one in a lifetime Grandpa Buck. 🦌🦌🦌. Thanks for keeping it real !!!
Billy how about some of the upcoming ladies like Jade, Kaylee, Taylor and Taylor to name a few , and lot of young guy's as well in chili bowl , good to see a lot of young talents to last for long time ! Hopefully they continue to look up to the old veterans!!
I was gonna build a work bench but I can get a tool box with a wood top for $100 more for what the materials costs. Just need one for a vise a grinder/belt sander .
While I like to see the little guy win or do well. I do think it’s good for dirt to have those big names draw the popularity to it all. At the same time, it’s bad for folks like myself where the deep pocket’s definitely drive the cost and makes it hard for the lil guy.

Correction, money Is Not the root of all evil....Bible says," the Love of money is the root of all evil"..... Big difference ....
Nice job bob you are absolutely correct. That's what the Bible says.
But don't worry billy we understand what you're saying. We still love ya.

Question for you Bill if your racing a sprintcar division with a lot less horsepower of a 410 would you use different bars when setting car up
do you use thread chasers or taps to clean up threads?

I miss Big Ben.
Do you do live streams?
