You can see the quality of the hard work put into each cookie. I recently found your channel and really like the content you put out! Informative and inspiring. Keep on keeping on
I'm glad the videos are helping. That's exactly why I make them. I'm happy to have you here.
Your cookies look so good. I love how you take the time to explain each step - this information is priceless. I wish you had a store in Seattle🥰
Thank you so much. Hey, who knows. Maybe one day 🤞🏼
Omg love that your wife is in this with you I didn’t know , I will love to hear her talk about her experience as a business owner with her hubby , it’s my future GOAL couples dreams
She's not comfortable with social media much. Maybe she'll get comfortable down the line, but for now, it's all me, haha
Your video is awesome! Congratulations!! I love it!
Thank you so much ☺️
The cookies look awesome! Definitely it shows the hardwork you guys put in making these cookies 👌! A small tip which may help saving some time while making the cookies! If you turn the rotating table clockwise then you may save a few seconds everytime you pick a printed cookie and put it in the baking tray!
I like that tip! It's all about making things more efficient. 👍
Wow they look amazing love it
A lot of work goes in, so thank you for saying that ☺️
Love ur videos Kai! Placing my order soon! 🍪
So glad you like them. And yes! Thank you for the support
Have you ever tried using fondant instead of icing? You still have to "dry" them out before you print.
Are there any benefits of using one over the other?
excellent for a husband and wife to help each other
Kai, so much to unpack here! Great video! would love to know the tip (#,name, brand, etc.) you use on the bottles? Then would love a video about you royal icing from start to finish(making, consistency etc.). Love the “FLASH” method. I feel like I have to try that! I soooo want a printer! #goals ALL THE TIPS IN THIS VIDEO! 👊👍
Hey Gabe, great suggestions. I will make an icing video soon, was already on my list of video ideas. I will then make a tip/bag video separately (thanks for this idea)
very good work, but what is the purpose of using corn starch on top of the already printed cookie?
To make sure you take the moisture out of the ink if not the ink will bleed once you bag the cookie. Or it might even bleed if the cookie still has moisture in it or if you live in a humid place. Trust me this is a life saver 🛟
You can save a lot of decorating time by using a 20 second flood. It eliminates the time spent on each cookie and a thicker flood dries faster.
I appreciate the tip. Yeah, we've tried everything here and found this works best for our icing type. A bit different than most. Will be dropping a video with details about that soon.
Thank you! I love behind the scenes videos, and appreciated the info! Question, though - do you not have to put your ingredient label on each cookie?
Of course! And no, I do not need to put ingredient labels on my baked goods. I'm pretty sure that's standard but could be different based on state? I just never walked into a bakery in any state where they needed labels on their baked goods. The same goes for a cookie. If the customer requests it, I can print one out. Hope that helps. Thanks for the question.
I'm a Baker and there's a company named Icing Images and they have a simplified method to what your doing. I plan to prep cookies ahead of time to minimize waiting time.
What was your method of getting exposure for the logo cookies?
Word of mouth. And google ads help for sure. It takes money to make money.
Also can you recommend a good royal icing brand? Thanks
I actually make my own royal icing from scratch. My next video will be how to make it. Make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss it!
Hello thank you-I was wondering why after you sealed the cookie why do you turn them the cookies upside down? Is there any reason for this? Thanks
So I can add the sticker to the back of it.
Where can we buy the printer
It’s called Eddie printer and the company is called primeira
Does the corn starch leave a taste?
Nope. You get pretty much all of it off as well but no. Cornstarch will not leave a taste
Would you share what your using for your icing?
I don't share my recipes, but if you google royal icing recipes, you can easily find it. Hope that helps. Good luck!
I like to bake as a hobby and it is very time consuming... And when you pay for something you pay for that person's time and effort that they put into the finished product
I couldn’t agree more!!!
Buy her an apron..will yah..?
She has one just doesn’t like to use it. 😅
I'm just wondering why your worker is not wearing a hair net, When handling food?
Because her hair is tied. Either hair nets or tie it. That's what my inspection requires. Thanks for your concern though
I do not support you not being on camera. We watch to see you bake papi.
🤣 .. I understand. Be back soon!
that girl needs to wear a mesh hat ! hair on cookies not good
That girl has her hair tied. That's all my health department requires
