I think you will enjoy it. Within the first couple of hours with mine I listened to REE and Ifrikya FM with very good reception. It's definitely very nostalgic -- nothing you can do with it but tune around and listen. No fancy functions, no way to ID a station by looking up the the exact frequency on a website. The tuning thumbwheel has a good, smooth feel and the right amount of resistance IMHO. Have fun!

I got mine today in yellow colour I have to say I'm well impressed especially on shortwave im picking up loads of stations really sensitive I will post a video soon unbelievably little radio for the price be my Radio to take on my fishing trips .cheers for all your efforts Giles .
I purchased an orange one for my two 3 year-old twin boys, who were becoming very interested in my tecsun and yaesu ham rigs. Perfect for the kids with one note, IMHO this radio gets loud quickly, just barely after powering the radio on. My kids have small fingers so I have to help them keep the volume down. Otherwise it’s a great radio - my kids love tuning the dial and discovering new FM stations. Also able to tune into WWV @ 10MHz from Seattle, to my surprise.
I'd pick the kind of military green looking colour, that one looks nice! Do report back on the tuning ability. Since this is but a small and cheap radio, wouldn't it also only be single-convertion, potentially bringing images in the reception? We'll see how it performs!
I bought a black one a week ago. No reception on medium wave, AM. So, returning to amazon. Probably a one off unit. FM and shortwave on the XH-DATA 220 were not as good as the several XH-Data 219 models I'd bought. Kept one, and gave others for gifts (after testing).

Interested especially to see how it does on AM, worst part of most of my small radios unless they have an external antenna.

My Golon radio has FM 64 - 88 but there is no radio stations on those frequencies. I live in Serbia.
