    THANK YOU!!! I called Dyson and they couldn't even give me these simple instructions! They told me to rip the entire head apart. Completely insane!

    I was already desperate about these f… wheels. I wouldn't have dared to do that, for fear that everything would be broken. Since I don’t have much strength in my hands, I levered it out with a small Allen key, which was much easier.
    Thanks so much! Greetings from Germany.

    Thank you my friend. If you know how many videos I watched until I found yours. I was about to unscrew the case and it's good that I saw your clip.

    Thanks a lot for this great video, which helped me a lot 💪✅ Some wheel were blocked and I cleaned all parts which you mentioned, now the Dyson rolls as a new one. The last screw was horrible placed by the manufactor, really a mess and I think this screw is only there to avoid a own repair / cleaning - my Dyson is also running fine without the last screw, thanks a lot 👍

    Vielen Dank. Auch ohne Worte war es einfach nachzumachen. Jetzt kann mein Hund wieder 6 Monate seine Haare verlieren. Meine Frau kann alles aufsaugen. Und wenn sie dann wieder sagt, dass da irgend etwas bremst, hole ich mir meinen Tox9, mein Skalpell und fange an zu operieren 🙂

      Wie kriegt man das Rad denn raus ihne das Plastik zu verformen? Erster Versuch ist kläglich gescheitert.

    • @jkleffel
      @jkleffel 9 місяців тому

      @@Lieschen.89 , die Achse der Rolle ruht auf einer Seite in einem Loch. auf der anderen Seite ist ein Schlitz. Hier kannst Du mit einem kleinen Schraubenzeiher die Achse "heraushebeln".
      Später in umgekehrter Riehenfolge wieder einsetzen..
      Keine Gewalt. Diese Teil der Achse ist nur eingeklemmt.

    Great video. Terrible product design. For the price of those vacumes, those wheels should clean themselves. It's like Dyson doesn't care.

      The thing works pretty well. I’m quite pleased with it actually. The snap unlock is a pretty slick feature and doesn’t require any tools. I was impressed. God bless James Dyson for dedicating his life to create the best vacuum!

    I was able to remove the wheel but it was hard to put them back on. Once I decided to use all of my might to push the pin back in with a flat head screw driver they snapped in and now I can actually roll my dyson on the floor with ease again. You just have to get over the fear of cracking the plastic and it will just snap back into the slot.

    such a bad design. i bet i will break it soon or later trying to pop them out. it took only 10 days for them to get clogged up on gen5. i guess i should avoid vacuming backwards because that way hair gets picked up by those small wheels. if u go forward then hair gets sucked in, or at least most of it does before it reaches those small wheels behind.

    Hi, I also dismantled my fluffy brush to replace the plush purple adhesive strip, I would like to ask you if I remove the green cover like you did, can I get the whole thing afterwards? because the plush strip is also attached to the inside of the brush

      I had the same problem. So I put the base of the screwdriver at my stomach, which gave me two free hands to hold the head properly and pull it against myself. It also meant I could avoid having my hands directly opposite the screwdriver in case it slipped. Hope this helps somebody.
