It's called rice and peas but it's with red kidney beans. Jamaicans call beans peas

I don't want to bother you but are the scotch bonnets replaceable?I love spice and the recipe looks crazy good but I don't think that I can get my hands on them anywhere I live.
Even though other peppers like chili 🌶️ aren't the way the sauce, any hot pepper will work.
