The empire of the vampire was one of my favourites of 2024! You will love the dragon riders of pern. I use a note book that is dedicated to my reading adventures. Just so I can stay off my phone more. Great video, I can’t wait to see what you pick up next.
Love watching all your videos mate I like how your just a normal guy who loves reading, i feel represented John Gwynne is my favourite author so i'm very glad your enjoying the bloodsworn saga
I’ve only been following you for a short time but I can see a marked difference in yourself. You’re so bubbly now and much brighter. On a side note I’m starting on sertraline next week which I know you’ve just come off
@@rachelbosworth2438 awww thankyou. Getting off medication was the best thing I did but I am suspected ADHD awaiting diagnosis and apparently Sertraline just doesn't agree with ADHD. I know lots of people who do fantastic on it. I hope it works well for you ☺️
@@BookishDadReads in the past I was on Prozac so this will be completely new. I know it’ll take a while to take affect but I know I need something to get me through my other health issues so I already have it in mind that it’s not long term hopefully. We have completely different reading taste but I love your videos
The Pern series is quite a long one - I was lucky last year and managed to pick up most of them for 50p each from a charity shop - Anne's son Todd finishes the series, but it is more of a sci-fi series instead of a fantasy one, despite the dragons...
I see Ty has posted, I click. It's that simple. In all fairness, I've only read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue this year and I'm like best book of the year 5 stars xD Every fucking time you make a dad joke I laugh like... same same. Glad to see your face again, friend!
I would have loved to have joined you on your book shopping expedition, the only time I get to go is with non book lovers and they don’t get it and end up saying ‘have you finished yet’ 😂😂 oh well, one day I might have a bookish friend to go with
Manga if you can get into it has some amazing stories takes a while to adjust but worth it only thing is you need a lot of space for manga books I usually read online for that reason 😂😂
My daughter forced me to try manga early in 2024 and I really struggled at first but I read 10 in total and loved pretty much all of them. I even have a list of my own that I now want to get
Loving the videos. Recent subscriber. You’re the most relatable UA-camr I’ve found. Unfortunately I suffered multiple traumas growing up and am left with various mental health problems. Reading is my escape so love seeing someone who’s went through and going through similar things. Have you tried book journaling to remember what you’ve read a bit better?
@@CraigAkhurst-rl5zr awww thanks buddy. The internet's a scary place and a lot of people I suppose feel they have to behave a certain way. I just want to be myself and hope that people accept me. I have but I definitely might do that this year to help. It may stop me having to reread books, too.
Hope you and your daughter enjoy Wicked. My daughter wants to watch it too. On New Year's Eve we rented The Wild Robot, that one was a great movie with all the feelings.
I’ve just read Empire of the Vampire and I’m now on Empire of the Damned. Fantastic books. Will definitely be buying more of this author.
