This video was taken on November 30, 2012 from the lake bed at Mountain Lake. There are four main depressions with holes along the lake bottom through which water flows out continuously. The water level rises and lowers throughout the seasons, although this cycle of extremely low (empty) lake is not very common, and has not occurred for several hundreds of years.
