Dirty Dancing's Mountain Lake Lodge, Virginia

While vacationing in Virginia in the Fall of 2020, we stayed a night at Mountain Lake Lodge. It's famous for playing the Kellerman's Mountain House in the film Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. You can see the main house, Baby's room, as well as the grounds where many scenes took place.
After dinner we set off to hike to the mountain top via the Bald Knob Trail to watch the sun set over the mountains. It's a short steep hike that becomes rocky before the summit and crags.

That is a sweet spot. I had to go there bcuz huge fan of DD Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey💓😁 I'm looking at property to buy in this park perhaps when I'm finished rving. It's such a peaceful area and remote and beautiful and preserved. Thank you for sharing this I didn't get through all of this area yet. Presently over in Big Stone Gap. One of the homes I was looking at in Appalachia Virginia, there was a bear cub and the mama came out very peaceful just like a little puppy. If we leave them alone they leave us alone respecting mother and nature🤗🙏. Thank you for sharing.
