I have somehow owned the 20" raw bell crash for 6 years now withour breaking it. I don't think I've ever met a crash cymbal I couldn't break inside of 3 years.

Well for one the finish, and two he's used this kit before. But maple has much more depth in the low but the highs have a hollow attack to them. The Silverstar has a blend of woods with these attributes but the finish is a giveaway. They dont need to use their touring kits for cymbal demos

It's a starclassic maple. It has the lugs and the mounting. Silverstar has different rimmounts.
