    Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐
    This is another song with that typical wtf effect they get us used to it.
    SuMetal is narrating us a King's tale of the Metal Kingdom with this psytrance mixed with middle eastern/Arabian sound that looks so cool with the unique blend of BM. You'll hear a lot of songs with edm sound in this album.
    This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd with MomoMetal debuting as the new official third member, she was one of the avengers since 2019 and we're all proud of her, but don't think this as a replacement of YuiMetal, she's like a new incorporation to this group for this new lore and metalverse era. Also the BM logo change, it doesn't have the skull and the heart in the B letter, as well there's only three feathers in the logo unlike four prior to this.
    The Western Kami Band was in charge of these shows.
    Some fans at Sabaton's Europe Tour and recently at Asian Tour were enjoying this song live, but everyone were having a blast with the new singles and classic BM songs.
    Final note, there's no need to put any filters or chopped off in any of their new songs because they're not blocking and no one is having any copyright blocked issues, so please next time try to fix this.
    See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

    "METALIZMIZUMIZUMU" - great song - Middle Eastern/Egyptian/Arabian (or similar) trance metal at its best🤘🦊🤘 but you still haven't heard them (and the Kami Band) playing live. If you are sticking with official videos there are a couple with live audio - 'Road of Resistance' live in Japan and 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' live at Sonisphere 2014.

    I appreciated the side track into labels, there really is a reason we want to categorize and name things. As for this song, keep in mind this group seemingly fearlessly tinkers and experiments, this one song isn't necessarily indicative of their current sound. Plus on top of that their producer has referred to this album as almost a side project or a concept album, they definitely have not abandoned the core of their metal sound forever.

    Excellent reaction/analysis/musical example/music lesson, etc. I really appreciate it and I wouldn't change anything.
    I'm not a music expert but I learned a lot lately about harmonic minor scales and specially about the Phrygian dominant. 😁
    "METALIZM" is one of my favorites off the new album, THE OTHER ONE and I was lucky enough to experience this one performed live last month in Berlin, so I can tell that the song kicks ass and those guitars sound freaking amazing live. CJ Masciantonio even added some extra in the end of the first "solo". That performance was my peak point of the concert even though they played one of my two favorite songs: "Megitsune"
    Until next time! 🤘🦊

    Thank you for this little excursion into musical theory! I always love to learn something. And you should know two essentioal things about BABYMETAL:
    1. They give a godamn shit about genre borders.
    2. Expect the unexpected!

    one thing you should know about babymetal is that babymetal has their own metal concept, which is experimental metal. they like to combine several genres of music into their songs, indicating that they like and appreciate all genres of music, so they were born as kawaii metal.

    One of the tons of reasons I love Babymetal is what you said, almost every song sounds so different! It's almost like an on the edge of your seat mystery movie.m you have go keep watching because you have no idea what's about to happen next!

    After Metal Galaxy, Babymetal ventures out to Metal Universe. Similar structure of style to "Shanti Shanti Shanti" from their Metal Galaxy album which have Indian and Sankrit elements but with Metalizm it fuses elements in the Middle Eastern Arabia and Egyptian vibes. Very heavy instrumental and with EDM vibes.

    Best analysis of Metalizm I have seen. As said below this song is pretty different from most of the new album which is a pretty big step for them to begin with. But they have ventured into Indian music before with Shanti, Shanti, Shanti. Really enjoy your reactions.

    I, for one, enjoy your brief lessons because I know nothing about music creation/production. When I first heard snippets of Metalizm, before the album release, I didn't realize how much I would later like it. Su's vocal melody and the guitar solos are "magnifique". BABYMETAL tickets tend to sell quickly, so get them while they're hot. I think they're already sold out for some dates of the US tour.

    That's a hell of a jump. XD Metalizm isn't just different than their old stuff, it's pretty different from their new stuff, which is already different from their old stuff, if that makes sense. :p I'm digging their new sound, though. There are a few detractors, but the fandom is pretty united in loving Metalizm.
    And I think the music theory stuff is interesting. You do you, sugar. It's your channel. No one has a gun to their head forcing them to watch. People who don't like it can just take themselves elsewhere. 🤘🦊🤘

    Nice reaction. I totally dig this song. Also, I'm always interested in what a musician will pick up when reacting to a song. The insight always adds something to a song. Musically for Babymetal fans this is a great example of how Babymetal songs are so diverse and yet as soon as you hear it you know this is a Babymetal song. When Su starts to sing there's no mistaking it. Her voice is so distinctive. They also mix dance styles as well. Adds to the fun. If you're going to blend things, why not blend everything? Which means someday we'll get a southern rock blues type song. What they'll blend it with is the mystery. Maybe on the next album. But as they like to say Only The Fox god Knows. Enjoy the journey through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.

    'You have 270,000 subs', I said. I am a Japanese and my English ability is not good, so I didn't quite understand what you said at the beginning of this video, but I apologize if my comment offended you.
    But I understand that you said something like hamburgers and cheeseburgers can be made from the same ingredients and that the labeling is stupid. And I agree. In fact, I recently got another replies (indirectly though) from a crazy guy on the topic of whether or not a certain song on BM is progressive or not elsewhere, and I'm really sick and tired of the stupid obstinacy. I used to enjoy watching the reaction videos and commenting on them in the hope that they would help me learn English and I help the people a little about Japanese culture in BM's songs, but I find it painful, so I'm going to stop. It was none of your business. Anyway, I am glad you are happy for BM. So enjoy your BM journey. Thank you from Japan.
    By the way, your guitar reminded me of the 'Immigrant Song'. Am I wrong? Well, I'm going to stop now because I'm going to get another attack from that crazy.

    • @10Shun
      @10Shun Рік тому +2

      Hideki-san, it is too bad you encounter such close-mindedness in a Babymetal comment section. Many people take comfort in labels, like having a label grants them or their ideas some sort of validation. This is not altogether wrong. But it really becomes obnoxious when some people insist that only their interpretation of a label is correct. I hope you don't stop reacting or commenting because of one person's annoying insistence on labels. Life is too short to be so hung-up about other people's narrow view of this world :)

    • @minamihideki7123
      @minamihideki7123 Рік тому +1

      @@10Shun I appreciate your kind words. I have found this community to be relatively full of sensible people, and I liked that. So I have just enjoyed this place as my hobby. But that guy, Hymnodic, seems to be targeting me for attacks for some reasons. I have even replied to him directly and protested, but apparently he doesn't get my point and I find it very frustrating to have to do that. As for the guy, I saw Ien Cooke recently replyed to him, even adding 'please', asking the guy if he could be a little less aggressive, but he replyed with more, such like 'It's your fault for feeling that way'. I felt so bad that I even got chills.
      By the way, Rick Wagner, who was a regular here till recent, seems to have also stopped commenting after Otoboke Gaijin accused him in a strong tone (I saw the Otoboke Gaijin's accusations against him, and like you, I replied to Rick in a comforting way. But he didn't say much about it to me, so whether that is why he stopped is just my guess). It was a real waste and a great disappointment. I have also received a reply once from Otoboke Gaijin, and he seems to be a person in the music business or someone living in Japan. And he seems to be pretty popular here as he seems to be well informed about the current culture / situation in Japan, but I don't have a very good impression of him by those things.
      I am sorry for a long writng. Again I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I might be here again when I feel like it.

    This was really enjoyable to watch. I don't think you should change much. Just continue giving whatever parts of the song a level of attention that you deem right. If there was a right or wrong way to do this, I wouldn't watch reactions cause it would get stale really quickly.

    I had the pleasure to enjoy Metalizm live in Berlin last month and dang it’s a banger on the album but live is just another experience ❤
    One of the great things about Babymetal is that they won’t restrict themselves, they play around with so many different music styles and influences, which is another reason why I never get bored of them, so refreshing, interesting, and it keeps you always in that tension since you don’t know whats coming next. Only one thing is consistent, it’s always friggin awesome! 🤘🦊🔥
