We got the basic dreamcloud and didnt opt out for the premier. The cost proposition for a slighty more responsive feel wasnt a deal breaker when all the other categories were evently matched. For $700ish, its one of the best mattreses you can get hands down in my opinion.
Really enjoyed the methodology of testing here. So many others are subjective, but you provide great objective evidence in your reviews. Thanks so much for the most helpful review I've found to date!
Thanks for adding the sex factor. We got a memory foam bed like 15 years ago and it really ruined the positions we could use. Since we moved it’s time for a new one.
I just looked at these in a store and found the response time on the OG Dreamcloud has changed and is very fast now. They have reshuffled the foam layers to so that the memory foam is not on top. Did not feel as firm to me either.
Oh that's very interesting. Thanks for letting me know. Perhaps I need to reorder and retest all of the DreamCloud line if they have made updates to their materials.
Do you have any reviews for the Sealy Posturepedic Plus Hybrid High Point 14" Plush Mattress? I'm having a hard time deciding between this Sealy and Dreamcloud Premier/Rest. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately, I do not. But I can add it to our list. Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I really don't know how that particular Sealy would compare to DreamCloud.
It varies from company to company. But in general, almost all companies will cover a sag / dip / impression in the mattress. The depth of the sag is typically defined in the warranty. The best warranties cover a sag of 1.0" or less. More typical warranties cover 1.5" or less. Anything over 1.5" isn't a great warranty.
I like slow response foam... isn't that what puts the "memory" in "memory foam?" I've been trying to find a replacement for my old pillow, since I left it in a hotel a decade ago. The mattress I've been on is extremely firm but I had an old-school memory foam topper on it, that made it much more comfortable for a decade or so (wish it was a 3"), then it got too squishy... it's a bit more responsive now though.
Here are my thoughts after sleeping on the Premier mattress for a month. It’s much firmer than I originally thought. The top cover forms bulges that after a while become rather uncomfortable. The mattress was shipped rolled in, the part of the mattress that was inside the roll still has not decompressed. Perhaps the mattress has been stored for a long time? So, ultimately one end of the mattress is lower than the other end by a good inch. That’s why I decided to let it go and explore all foam Endy, or Douglas.
It is not. None of the DreamCloud of Nectar mattress are particularly firm. All of them range from medium to slightly firm feel. If you need a firm mattress you'll need to go with a different brand. I just want to say thank you. This is, by far, the most comprehensive comparison of any mattresses I've found and I've been researching for months!
Oh you're too kind. Thanks so much, Cassandra! I appreciate your kind words and I'm so glad to hear my videos are hitting the right marks 😊

Wow did you sell it off ?
Fantastic review! Keep up the work!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful.
This was an outstanding mattress review for the DreamCloud comparisons.
Thanks very much! I'm glad you found it helpful.
Thank you so much for this review! Would you say the Luxury Hybrid is a little more firm than the Premier?
In my tests, I found them to be about the same firmness....both slightly-firm feel, 7 out of 10 on our firmness scale.

When these companies give out warranties typically what is covered? If the mattress develops a permanent dip in it would they replace it? Thanks

@@NapLabReviews I was laughing that what DreamCloud calls the "European top" cover feels like sleeping on the cobblestone street of Europe 😀
@@gregoz6 Lol...I mean, technically it is a euro top. But I agree, it's quite firm.
Aren’t you the Original sleepoplis guy ?
Yep!
We purchased the Premier Rest from local store.

Yes! We'll be testing and review the entire new Dreamcloud line.
