A true Scotsman knows how blow into his bag pipes and dance 24 hours a day. A truer Scotsman, however, wouldn't wear anything but his kilt.
With this looping taunt, once you start playing these pipes, you'll have the gumption to keep playing 'til the cows come home!

Valve somehow managed to nerf a taunt. Good work with this taunt, sad that Valve had to beat the bagpipe up before they gave it to the Demoman.

Would of been cool if you had the pyro vision on the song (in this video) would play as a little cool easter egg, and without the vision plays the one valve gave.
Or maybe it would've been a LOT better if every once in a while the Demo gets it right and it keeps going until you decide to stop. Would've been like the Spycrab.

Fun fact:
The bag pipes are also a war intstrument. They give a boost on morale and bravery. Also, enemies of war get scared when they blow.

The money went to Valve, not the creator.
Being part Scottish myself, I would pay top dollar for that version. THAT is a true gesture of respect right there, not the gag Valve played on us.
Valve is just moronic, and ruined an amazing taunt, just for old and stupid joke of bag pipes "sounding bad" like its some stupid 1960s cartoon...
And making Demoman look like a dumb, incompetent drunk.
@@Kacpa2Well, the events of TF2 just happen in the late 60s, and the art style is cartoon. So Valve just corrected this taunt to match the cartoon style of the 60s. At least audibly. But the taunt is really a pity, it sounds much better in this video than in the game

TF2 is a nice, light, funny game, those ugly melodies added by valve fits to this game and demoman's character MUCH MORE than this "omg so pretty music". You crazy? If you need pretty music, go to spotify.
You've just gotta love seeing all the people saying that the "badpipes" rendition Valve made fits the character more since he's apparently drunk 24/7 and can't play any instruments [CITATION NEEDED] even though we literally see him playing the piano in Expiration Date. He's got canonical musical talent; just let him play his Scottish tunes properly, damn it.

I just saw the official version of this, and this usage and sound is 10 times better, what the hell Valve.

Are you seriously complaining about it not fitting him? After all the other complete out of character nonsense that's been put in, THIS is the one that needs to be perfectly in character?
Hell the worst part is that you could actually see it fitting. Demo is still able to do his job while drunk, why cant he play a merry tune? If anything the tune could be something he uses to cheer up his depressed self.

i think you should change the walk cycle a bit, it looks unnatural when he moves
+Hypo Is there anyway you could make the legs move a bit faster? That might make it fit a bit better if you ''can'' walk around with it. As long as it's still slow enough to fit the taunt if it was not moving.

Voted. Demo's a cool character but for how unique he is, I never felt he showed quite enough of his Scottish roots. This would be a great way to do it, with some flair, without it going overboard. Nicely done, looks and sounds awesome.

I love this! I really think all classes should get their own eternal animations. So far, the Scout, Soldier, Demoman, Heavy, Medic and Sniper have none. All there is, is the Pool Party, Rancho Relaxo, and the Box Trot.
