Greetings from Poland. I learn a lot from your channel. I am touched by your works of art. When I was a little girl, in the 1960s, we played something called "secrets." It was about making small holes in the ground, where we put various little things: beads, pieces of metal foil, broken parts, fragments of ceramics, flowers, dead butterflies, pieces of fabric and lace, etc. Then we covered the hole with a piece of glass and filled it with soil. We only showed secrets to our best friends, you had to find where they were, then carefully dig out the dirt and look through the glass. Your products remind me those secrets, they are an attempt to freeze fragile beauty in time.
That is incredibly sweet and I’m so happy that you shared that story! That warms my heart. I have many fond, childhood memories like that, mostly of making mud cakes and fairy houses. I’m so glad you are here and that my work reminds you of such sweet memories, I’m truly touched- thank you!

It reminds me a bit of the brutalist jewelry, which really appeals to me as well. I love *seeing* the handmade part of handmaking....if that makes sense. When it's so refined and polished that it could be mistaken for machine made, it just isn't as neat. Of course I love the cicada! Thanks for sharing all of this!!
