I'm not a huge mastodon fan, I don't turn them off but don't go out of my way to listen to them UNTIL this song. I'm gonna do some deep diving to find more of there songs I like, but this one is a vibe for sure.
They have a lot of really good songs. If you like this song you will probably like The Czar or maybe Jaguar god. I doubt you will like their earlier stuff but leviathan is a good album. Check out chimes at midnight as well.
I discovered them with Crack the Skye....loved them from track 1...then I saw them live...they are phenomenal in person. I'm glad you like this song...they have a lot of gems
