The second single-story house is a great choice! It’s such a beautiful design with a practical layout, and I can see why it would stand out. The flow of a single-story home can feel so spacious and convenient, plus you don’t have to worry about stairs. What part of the home did you love the most? The kitchen, living area, or maybe the outdoor space?
I'm so glad you love them! Traditional brick homes have such a timeless charm, and I totally get why you'd love the two-story designs. They offer so much space and character, especially with those grand staircases and multiple levels. If you're leaning toward a two-story home, is there a particular layout or feature you're most drawn to, like a spacious master suite, or maybe an open-plan kitchen with a view of the living room?
They keep building 2 story houses. Too big , too much maintenance, power, taxes and insurance are expensive. Get a single story 2,500 sf tops. If you are newly weds get a 2,000 sf or less to give you room to grow into it. The times of starter homes and flipping homes are over at least for now.
You’re definitely right about the value of a single-story home in terms of maintenance and long-term costs. Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's a good reminder for homebuyers to consider their lifestyle needs.

Man Houston is over crowded. It has been since 2017. Don’t move here! You’re going to be upset about the traffic and the crooks they have. Cheaper isn’t always better! We are getting tired of the traffic growing. It’s only the city these companies aren’t worried about the country. A lot of natives are giving the city to people who live here we live in Texas because we don’t like to be bothered with BS. It is way too busy in the highways now.
@ you must not be from the H?! Man 45 was the only busy freeway back in the day. Now 99 and the hardy are busy and for what? To many out of town people and they cause the wrecks. Trucks and cow trailers and flatbeds not moving out of the way. All the speed demons. Man Houston is slow loud and bangin. You must be younger than 30!
The exterior style is so very dated. Hate the brick floors. You also didn't show us those really large closets you mentioned, the ones shown are small.
Thanks for all the awesome videos every Saturday. Thank you.
I love the second single story house. ❤

Why do they put yhe low voltage in bedroom closets?
Typically because its easy access and the temperature is usually stable.
@houstontexasliving33 ok thanks for the response
