Peterbilt has unveiled a new version of its Peterbilt Model 579 flagship truck that offers a 7% fuel economy improvement compared with the current 579 truck.
The new Peterbilt 579 interior model is designed to be more quieter in the cab (by 10%) and it comes with various technology upgrades and assistant systems such as: driver configurable digital dashboard cluster, lane keeping assist and lane departure warning.
The Model 579 truck is available for order in many configurations which include: a day cab version, an integral 80 inch Peterbilt 579 UltraLoft sleeper and a variety of other 579 sleeper sizes.
The sleeper cab in the Peterbilt 579 UltraLoft model features an impressive 70 cubic feet of space and an 8 foot high ceiling. The cabin also has space for small appliances like a 1.1 cubic foot microwave, a 32" LED TV, a tall wardrobe closet, multiple power outlets (including USB). In the new Peterbilt 579 UltraLoft cabin you can also order an optional bunk bed with a fold away ladder.
Other small extras like a fixed cup holder and the option for multiple USB charging ports are intended to make driver's life more comfortable.
Multiple windows in the cab offer natural light and extra ventilation, while at night interior lighting comes from dome LED lights and three directional spot reading lights. New sound insulation technology helps minimize outside noise for a quieter cabin, both on and off the road.
The 15 inch digital display in the new 2021 Peterbilt 579 features a fully customizable user interface for a broad combination of digital gauges viewable on the main screen.

THIS IS LUXURIOUS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER seen the inside of a truck. Nothing really special 😴...
Nice
Très bon
I'm grateful to our truck drivers. They deliver the products we need. Long haul drivers spend a long time on the road, away from their families and recreational activities many of us might take for granted. Having something like this rig may help in the recruitment of the next generation of drivers. Cheers, and thanks 'drivers'.

John, you don't know what you're talking about? Chata
No you are not, Otherwise you would stop voting democrat!
I've been driving one of these for about 9 months. Its awesome !!! Fuel mileage is great. Reliable and stable. I'm over the road east to west. I don't have anything to complain about as of yet. I've been driving almost nonstop and basically living in it. This is one of the best trucks I've driven in 28 years. I was a huge Volvo fan. Not anymore. Peterbilt 579 Epyqe all the way.
😍👍😍
Are you on drugs? Your Volvo must not have had the dining table and benches or the performance package transmission... these are garbage, did you have that transmission error yet on yours? Or electronic malfunctions yet? You will
How much cost?
Not sure. It's a company truck.
@@jessethiesse8753 Kenworth is also good, and much more premium compared to Peterbilt
Coming from an old trucker that spent a good bit of time running B-model Macks and GMC Generals...this looks like a slice of Heaven.
Greetings from a guy that has made a living driving those same models and a lot more. My current ride is a Kenworth based out of Calgary.
I made my first paycheck driving a truck in 1970.
B model Macks. No power, no room and no brakes and a 4 and 4. A trip over the rockpile to Vancouver wasn't a trip. It was a career.
Thats what my dad said. He had like a 1983 Peterbuilt w a sleeper.
Sure don't make em like they used to Pretty
Triplex broke my wrist .
Lol
i don't know why but this reminds me of a story, back in the early 80's i started a new job, they needed two new drivers and when i showed up there was was another driver there starting his 1st day also and he was wearing a mack hat, the dispatcher asked him if he like mack's and he said he love them and the dispatcher said it's your lucky day, well it turns out they had an old r model mack and a new GMC, well he got the old mack and i got the new GMC. at the time it was the first new truck i had ever driven. seeing this new truck truck made me think of that shiny new GMC.
Beautiful truck strong a dream!
Verdade Oscar! 👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Did long haul for quite a few years (off the road now), they need to make some basic (and fairly easy) changes to the trucks. Make the sleepers into a proper habitat, take some features from a rv. They can make a shower/toilet combo, a small galley (fridge, microwave, electric range) where the driver can actually cook a healthy meal and save money as well. This would mean a longer heavier sleeper, I know, but would greatly improve the health of the drivers and help provide driver retention the country desperately needs. We all know what it was like, being in a rush, having to grab greasy junk food from flying J deli because we didnt have time to find a parking spot and go to the restaurant. Give these long haul trucks a higher allowable gross weight and restrict them lengthening the trailers anymore.....nice fantasy anyway I know it will probably never happen
Yeah we need "super sleepers" and tad shorter trailers.
I'll be happy with a bigger fridge/freezer (RV kind) and one of those induction stove tops (1 burner).. I'll be set.. I do not need the shower/toilet stuff. I'd like to cook my own meals and I'll be a happy camper.
Dolly down the trailer and have a slide out of the back.
Capitalism won’t allow for that
It stupid you just describe Camper i wonna drive truck not camper also any weight lifting increase fuel economy. These day cabins from 72 inch are just fine to me. Only problem is give drivers more resting time home and bigger salary. You wil get more New drivers.
Amei ❣️❣️❣️❣️ parabéns... Magnífica máquina... Amo 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 Lindo!
This has got to be one the nicest looking modern semis out there. It resembles the classic trucks but with a modern twist. I'd gladly own one of these if I had the money.

Meu Deus que coisa linda! 👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I’ve been taking D3 2k iu for 8 years recommended from my Dr after having colds and flu from my grandkids. I immediately stopped getting sick and gave up on my annual flu shot. When COVID hit I started watching your channel and moved up to 5k iu. After seeing the D3 K2 video I started taking the 10k/2k D3K2. Recently I saw a video on another channel that said we should take with fat based meal since it was absorbed better that way. I’ve been taking this combo D3K2 for about 2 years now with no side effects. I’m currently 70. Thanks and btw I’m taking your branded supplements now.
WOW and WOW!!! I need to have one, ....i wish!!
Nice truck! I've driven Paccar engines for 3yrs good miles and haven't had a problem out of them.

And Im sure that interior costs more then your cars lol
It's a beauty 😍 inside and out.
Finally a good video on this.
Almost the exact same layout as my 2016 579. Got rid of that dumb stick selector on the lower center dash. Love mine. Quality!
It’s amazing how pictures make these trucks look so big and spacious.
They use fish-eye angle lenses on the camera.
Fish eyed ultra wide lens camera does this ...
Yeah cause they are not that big once ur in it
Welp, they are big... but if you try to cram a 900 sq foot house into one of them- turns out they aren't THAT big...
@Claudio Canavaro tf are you going on about?
i like how the pictures make the sleeper look bigger than it is
Yup.... the magic of photoshop.
and the music
Gorgeous features on a gorgeous rig.
I have no idea how very experienced truckers with extensive time behind the wheel of various makes and models of trucks would rate the Peterbilt 579, but I have to say that I think it's the best looking truck on the road today, and I always spot them when I'm out on the interstate going to and from work daily.
I've got a couple of miles under my belt and the 579 is my favorite tractor. Currently driving a 567 which isn't bad but the headlights are awful.
Stop lying!
That's a cool interior. Wish they made other vehicles like vans with stuff like that.
Interesting Commercial thank you.
I love that design! 😍

A beautiful truck!
The old timers ( my dad was one) took pride in jamming gears, but I would bet many would love this new technology whether they admit it or not.
Awesome
Almost sold me one with those glamour shots at the end 🔥😍
I wasn't expecting gold flakes on the paint job
What a great truck for a steering wheel holder.
Would you care for some cheese with that whine?
Saludos
What a wonderful machine on earth
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Lot of delicate stuff to be bouncing around and breaking.
I think I’m in love
Beautifull truck
Maravilha
Quem sabe um dia no Brasil eles vão aprender a fazer caminhões de verdade né
Que máquina TOP !
Now that is travelling in comfort while working!
What a beuti ❤❤
I remember three pedals, two shifters and a ball peen hammer for tire pressure....whole new world.
a whole lot of extra work for no reason
This truck has an automated transmission, and disc brakes on all the wheels. They are much better than drums and you can get 500,000 miles before replacement.
I remember a brother's friend when I was about 8 - 9 yrs old when he wasn't paying attention as he was checking tires on his truck and he got an egg on his forehead....I was scared he had cracked his skull...it lasted at 2 months that lump....I was scared S**TLESS!!
I remember 13 speed transmissions, it was a ten speed splitting the upper gears.
AMEN TO THAT..... THOSE WERE THE GOOD OL DAYS..😔
Holy crap it has a redesigned cup holder!
Beautiful 🤩
This video is very satisfying
I drive a 1998 peterbilt 379 fully restored and I love it. It has all of the comfort I need and nothing I don't. These new trucks are nice enough but I have to have a manual transmission, no air bag and a long hood.
You don’t have to, you just chose to, because you think your smarter than the engineers and designers who know more about your 98 than you do, and would also eloquently explain to you why it was important to evolve to the peterbuilt of today from your vintage 98 that must have manual transmission and a long d@$&, I meant long hood…
@@chico7469 my long hood Pete will definitely protect me better in a wreck than any new truck made today. My truck doesn't bust apart if I have a steer blowout. My long hood truck rides like a Cadillac compared to any short hood truck. There's a reason why most drivers drool over kenworths and peterbilts, because they just look better. As far as a manual transmission, I like being in control in bad weather, like feathering the clutch in snow and ice, something these new drivers driving these automatics know nothing about. My 108 inch straight pipes sound smooth and deep, unlike these grass burners on these new trucks...lol and my truck doesn't need to get up to 1200 degrees to burn the exhaust filter out...lol and my truck doesn't need cow piss to run. Say what you want but there's nothing like driving a long hood truck with an engine that breathes fresh air.
@@chico7469 lmao spoken like somebody who’s never drove a truck before. I love it.
@@travisbryan663 I work on them, go back and forth to school annually and have been for a little over 20 years sir 🤷🏾♂️ but I appreciate your comment. In fact, most manufacturers have opted to go this route using automatic transmissions for cost and logistic purposes. Technology has provided us an opportunity to build a transmission that can pull just as much weight without a need for manual although this newer equipment still gives you those options when traveling up steep mountains 🏔️ etc.. I personally think it’s a bonus for truckers who just want to get up and down the highway with more ease but their are some ole school cats that enjoy having manual and those options are still available if that’s what he or she prefers.
I always wanted to sleep in an american truck! Wow
Nice truck, the sleeper looks great

Thou the future may be here now and it may be so efficient and perfect where machines do all the thinking for us, something is lost that can't be replace with new technology. I will always prefer the old way in trucking, I guess I will never be ready for the future!
Same here. I miss the good old days. I love gearing down and listening to my pipes rumble a little. I love hearing my turbo whistle as I shift from gear to gear. I love looking at my long hood and huge grill as I walk back from the truck stop, especially at night when she's all lit up.
