Tyler Mayer thanks for the update. Hopefully you get it all sorted out. Might want to look into different electric fans. I've got a buddy with a 2j 300zx and he encountered overheating issues aswell. Put in a higher output fan and the temps are now under control.
@@Tyler_Mayer need more ducting and possibly better oil cooling on it. the stock fan shroud makes a pretty big difference VS no shroud with air just "going" through. also, are you running a tripple core radiator? dual cores aren't enough. the Supra/JZX/S/and Z chassis all have a good 4-7 inches on either side of the engine bay between the engine and the towers, part of what keeps a JZ cool in it's native compartment VS Nissans with absolutely no space between the sides. it's just too tight, keeps heat close together. Even the Skylines have this issue because the RB series fits no better in there than they would in an S chassis lol. but also why they get a full size oem front intercooler that can take 800hp no problem VS the supra's side mount and much smaller mouth. doubly so with the extra ventilation the skylines get. there's a reason for all that frontal opening + grill. you're trying to do the same kind of engine in a popup front car with a tapered nose and a small undirected airdam made for 180whp. that's not for nothing.
What color did you use on the valve covers? The contrast of the gloss and mat black looks sick
About to do the pressure relief fitting on my r154, has it been working for you?
Do you know the parts number on the subaru cap?
Do you feel it worked good?
does these electric fans move enough air?
You by chance know the thread pitch of the fill plug?
The Rabid Rb on the swirl pot? 1/8npt
Are the ports removable?
Lmfao you're godamn hero
Any updates?
no leaks, keeps air out of the system. But I am still fighting over heating problems on hot summer days (drifting). The car runs cool on the street.
