Nice! This brings back memories. My buddies and I skied June Mt. every winter back in the early nineties...high school days. I'll never forget in 1994, skiing in -4 degrees weather but it was much warmer once we were on the mountain. Great times!

I work the Gondolas at Mammoth, and riding Mammoth is amazing! However, when we can, me and the crew go to June when we can. The vibe is amazing and it feels alot like my home mountain(Alyeska) and it's the best and simplest place in the area.
Been riding at June and visiting my favorite place for about 17 years now. This video is great.. but anybody watching must go to really experience the feelings you get here. Take it from someone who used to be a mammoth resident for 2 years.. all of our days off were spent here.

Does this resort make snow? Do you think the condition will be ok the week before this Christmas?
June Mtn has snowmaking, but most of the time it is not needed. 2020 was a slow year. Usually it gets dump on in February. Hopefully this year is better, but drought is present. Best of luck!
The snow is definately *Good* this year(Febuary 2023) almost too much snow.
If you want to carve up some groomers, June is better than Mammoth. Mammoth has nothing that comes close to J6 and J7 for that sort of skiing - perfect grooming, decently long run, nice constant pitch, decently wide....no crowds.
