Great idea, in a perfect discreet vessel. The only variation I would add to one of my own design is a Tungsten carbide Spike that could double as a glass breaker and perhaps fill the remaining void in the marker with epoxy to further add rigidity.
Make some and start selling them! I'd love to have a few to give as gifts! Such a shame that I threw away dried up Sharpies. My office used to go through a bunch of them.

@@papapersephone Well, I may just have the guys make some and add them to the site to see if they sell. Thanks so much for your suggestion and your continued support! I really do appreciate that!
How would you go about turning a sharpie marker into a self defense stick once it dries out would you gut it and put it back together? Or just leave it as is and it just looks like a marker? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you. 👍
Hi Jerry! I can make them exactly the same way if they are dried out. I remove the dried tip and inside parts and add the spike. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Bro, the throwing spikes tutorial would be great. I've bought 4 sets (I think). I've had very little training at a young age... I plead the 5th on the details lol
@@Karatemart I remember as much! The stretch band throws me, though. @@patbailey I’m not sure which video, but I know I showed how to throw them in one of them. You are right that the common way to throw them is overhand. I’ve seen people do them from a side arm, but I’ve never had much luck with that.

Those are pretty awesome. I’ve seen videos of them. I actually have a really awesome item I’m planning on making for next week’s Weapons Wednesday that I’m super excited about.
Just stumbled upon your site. I'm really impressed!! THESE are MY kind of weapons!!! I love melee weapons!!! Any thing I can throw, stick, chop or strike with, I like!! Liked, subscribed, and shared(with discretion, of course)!!! Gotta ask, do you carry anything like the Cold Steel Torpedo? Carried one concealed for a few years, but it "grew legs". When I was in the military, we "liberated" some Dental instruments and made spikes out of them. Lotsa fun!!! I have the advantage of being about 90% ambidextrous, so the spikes, of any size are of interest to me!!! Thanks for putting your products out there. If Santa is good to me I'll be ordering some stuff after the first of the year!!
Thank you so much Danny! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that! I just looked up the Cold Steel Torpedo and that thing is pretty sweet! We carry some smaller bo shuriken, but nothing of that size. I’ll have to see if I can get my hands on some or have our production team design something similar. Thanks so much for watching and have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
@@Karatemart Thanks for your timely response. The CS Torpedo is a beast!! It's heavy enough to K.O. someone even if it hits broadside, or used as a truncheon. But it is balanced so well it almost always hits point first, and the weight assures great penetration. The only reason I don't have another one(or 3)is it's not cheap. Would love to see something of similar size and weight, if only just a little more cost effective. Thanks again!!!

Well…you could drill out the inside of the marker tip a little further to make the spike stick out further, but it won’t be as strong. Thanks for watching!
I agree. Many countries have very strict laws against concealed and hidden weapons, so I'm glad you are aware of the laws in your own country. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
@@Karatemart But how can you legally define that as a weapon without also calling any other thing in your pocket a concealed weapon? If the logic isnt there, the law shouldnt hold. Now if you stab someone with it, it has become your weapon in that crime, just as throwing a rock could be, but that doesnt make it a weapon in itself, let alone a concealed weapon.
