You will see from the footage, Ted was a little bit in awe of what they have achieved. So happy that you enjoyed your visit to La Lacelle. Both of your Chanels are brilliant and it was lovely to hear you, as a craftsman yourself, saying that you were impressed with the work that they do. We were there on the `Saturday and we have seen every video, just we have yours, and we were overwhelmed with how beautiful the chateau has become and the garden. The hard work and determination to get it to a sorted for the open days was an unbelievable accomplishment.

The exterior of the Chateau and the painted gates is what really impressed me. Such a ton of well done work. I remembered the work you did in some of the bedrooms and the bathrooms Very impressive guys.

Wonderful that you were able to share with us all, your visit to Chateau De Lalacelle. Was hoping you might venture over to see them on their open day and you did. Oh I'm so sorry about your audio.....could not hear your voices over the loud music accompanying the video. You need to carry your mic's by hand so that they are under your mouth, as I think just relying on voice pick up on your phone, is not adequate and voices are lost. Lisa and Ted, you two are doing a smashing job on your beautiful chateau too, don't sell yourselves short. As the saying goes "You've come a long way baby!!" and you have for sure. Been watching right from the start (inside your tent!) )O.M.Gosh and look at you now!

We loved seeing you two at Lalacelle. Such a long haul to get there, but to hear you two so respectful, generous and appreciative of what Terry and family have achieved…hats off to you two! BUT…let no-one underestimate at any point what you two have also achieved! A very different project with a massive age and era difference…you two deserve way more credit and support than you get

Lovely to see 2 of my absolute favourite chateau restorers meeting up. Both couples ( and mum) are hardworking down to earth and you both deserve all the luck in the world. I have been watching your channel since about 6-7 videos into your move to France.I see the videos come up and I watch them,I saw about the accident and then nothing.I figured that you were waiting until Ted got better.I watch your videos on TV through my cable company.But I see that they’re posted from my phone or tablet.UA-cam must have messed up something because I just looked at how many videos I’ve missed,maybe you should mention this on 1of your future videos,just to make sure people know that might/is happening to them.

It’s easy to do these remodels if you have money to spend, but having a tighter budget and still pulling it off is just amazing! I think often it’s even better on a tight budget because it forces you to think more about your choices. Terry is just beaming with pride here as he should be!

Of all the chateaux owners out there, you an Lalacelle are the hardest working and most alike in attitude and ethics. It was such a joy to watch you meet. All this, aside, of course, Dan Preston, who has the same attitude and ethics, but is busy practically BUILDING an old chateau. I hope that some day all three of you will meet and talk. No one at any of the others, works as hard and with as much joy as you three. Cheers to you all. You deserve every good thing in life.

I have to say I have watched multiple Chateau renovations over the years but 'Chateau de Montmagner' and ' How to renovate a Chateau ' are the ones I have stayed with. I love the authenticity, natural joy and humorous shenanigans. Also your skills have grown so much over these years. It is lovely to get other ideas but don't sell yourselves short because your ideas and creations ( usually born out of frugality) are tremendous. ❤🎉❤

Terry and gang have done an outstanding job on their chateau. I love their work. They work so hard. You are representing an entirely different period ery different from most chateaus
I think all the youtube chateau owners and smaller properties in France should visit one another share ideas and experiences. There isn't anything Lalacelle has that Montmagner doesn't in small amounts as you have done your own paneling at least and who knows maybe in the wedding portion or the last accommodation we might see a little bit more as it's a 2 story former post office. I would love to see what Terry and Ash and Tracy would see in Montmagner and get inspired too. Maybe help with your roof issue if you haven't solved it already. I hope it wasn't too tiring a drive back home. I am surprised you didn't bring Bessie and Hans as they are pet lovers like you :)

Oh im so happy that you got to meet Ash,Terry, Tracey and all the family and friends whilst you were there. As you see they have a little more help than you two, but all have the same drive and visions.😊 This is whats needed with Chateau owners are the connection to other Chateau owners for brainstorming and friendship. I do follow Terry,Ash and Tracey have done since the start but you two are the only one financially ive supported as youve struggled to get the subs which goodness knows why. You deserve hundreds. I wish i could support more .😊. Hopefully youve made a connection x😊
It was fun to see you checking out someone else's project. You all work so hard that you need a rest and to see what Terry and Ash are doing might inspire you in the future with colour choices or just general ideas. Hope you are both well.

I love their Chateau but it does represent a more resent build historically and that explains the high ceilings and castle like appearance. Personally I think you would both enjoy a visit to Chateau de Rosiere... excuse my spelling as I don't have it up on my computer right now... but their project is similar to yours in approach and skilled workmanship but different based on location..... they are a young couple with 2 children under 5years, doing most of the work themselves with hard hands -on work effort and a budget. Their geography is significantly different than yours as it is near the Swiss alps. Their Chateau renovation project matches and compliments yours.
What they have done ai La lascelles is phenomenal but you are also knocking it out of the park. So many amazing people making beautiful homes and businesses from practically derelict buildings in France.

That made me tear up a bit. Next chateau networking trip you should try to visit Patrick and Stuart at Chateau De Colombe. They are closer to you and are hand on also.

Lalacelle is a beautiful chateau, but I actually prefer your medieval building. Which is why I’m glad you go for the rustic, more simple look! I’d rather have yours than any of the other beautiful chateaux I follow on YT!
