Can we appriciate the ammount of cleanliness this guy kept at all time of the video? Like dam im suprised... he worked and after every step, he cleaned the sawdust... (salute emoji (i dont have it lol))
You definitely have the gift of making furniture you should design and do othet furniture projects greetings from 🇮🇪 ireland i did a loft bed for my grandson 5 yrs ago .
This project is fantastic! Do you have any problems using this Loft bed design? Is it comfortable to reach the bed and relax during daytime? Does your head touch the roof or the small gap between the bed and the roof annoy you? I'm planning to build something like yours ;) I appreciate your hard work💪
I used it today and it’s still my favourite 😻 The height of everything was design for seating comfortably on both the loft bed and the studio under. My head doesn’t touch the roof when sitting. The only time it touches is when I’m standing 😳 and it can have some impact also when I forget about the bed 🛌 above 👆
this was such a nice built! thank you for filming this, for inspiration. i'll be doing a loft bed in about a month so thank you sir! Have a lovely week :D Hälsningar från Sverige
How did you get on? I've been hunting everywhere for a simple and (not by any means easy) easy to follow tutorial and this is perfect and I intend to start my one in about 2 weeks so interested to see if you took the challenge 😄
I've had a bed/desk like this but made from steel tubing I got from Ren-a-Center about 20 years ago...if you're under 5' tall then it isn't too bad to stand under but anything more than that you may want a helmet. I imagine you have the same issue here.
I've been legit looking for loft beds for adults for ages cos it's only ever assumed to be for kids by default. I need it for space saving in a small room.
I just realized this guy has 1.22k subs, i thought it was 1.22 million... You seem very humble and the project looks great, i wish you the best of luck so that you can grow more on UA-cam! A small piece of advice would be trying to be more clear on sentences. Your voice is great and everything is perfectly understandable, but the paused speech is a trait most big channels don't have, so maybe that would help. I'm trying to work on my accent as well 😅 Sorry if i sound like i'm complaining, it is a genuine tip!
1. Use flooring grade ply wood instead of slats. If you want slats drill holes into the wood that would allow you to put those plastic slats clips in rather than nailing them because you just made them harder to replace. 2. Should over lap the edge wood to hide the plaster board :) makes it a cleaner finish Looks good tho
Good idea ....but will you pls. give the brand of all your portable tools that you're using ...need to buy them portable but heavy duty ...good job....
As I viewer I loved your video it was very entertaining but as a carpenter, you can definitely work on your technique. 😭 still inspired me. Now I wanna go home and build one. Thanks for the video man ❤
I'm not sure if you have no space to put the things like the monitors, your clothes and the mattress while making this video, but isn't it easier if you put them after all the sanding and drilling?
Before I built this set up. I check how they build beds. You can increase the capacity by adding additional slats 3:57. More of this will increase the capacity 😎
I like this but I feel like I would roll off the bed and fall down on the floor hard lol. ouch. So I would need some kind of rail to prevent that that i could raise up and down before i go to sleep.
Wow! Thanks man. This is what I’ve learned. 1. Ask (Ask God and it will be given to you) 2. Seek (Seek with all your heart and you shall find) 3. Knock (the door shall be open) That’s the course bro 😎
Hi Gabriel, thanks for sharing your video! I wanted to give you some constructive criticism, because I think the build is overall a great idea and I think you had some really good details in there! However, it did very much seem like you just kind of winged parts of your build, like the stairs and the siding on your bed. Really would have made a positive impact for the overall look and quality of the build if you had put in a little bit more effort to make things line up, flush and done a little bit of measuring to get it juuuust perfect! :-) I'm sure your future builds will be awesome!
Everything seems fine, BUT I would do everything first, then wipe the dust, and only then hang up the clothes, bring the mattress and equipment. Also, the sides of the laminate bed are clearly uneven and untreated.
Safe max weight with this budget build is 80kg. To increase max weight, we need to build extra support (wooden slats) in the middle part. I’m on the process of building a new DIY LOFT BED. Stronger, better quality and more storage 😎
I love big city people ... cramed into 10x10 rooms ... build out mega-mini cities for $750K lofts. lol .. meanwhile in 2024 - get 50 acres + 4000sq/ft house in VA ... and WFH.

Finally done with the new Dream LOFT BED 2.0: ua-cam.com/video/h4pHQxpPbeg/v-deo.html
This a good idea for all those who rent closets in New York and need additional space to live as normal human beings…
Yes. It does help. I had a Murphy bed before I built this. Both has positive and negative sides.
@karinamartinez9441 it's brilliant 🎉
Ppl rent closets ? O.o
And here I thought I was the only one eho liked sleeping in my closet
But I never heard of ppl renting then
@lilsilli same here 😎
Can we appriciate the ammount of cleanliness this guy kept at all time of the video? Like dam im suprised... he worked and after every step, he cleaned the sawdust... (salute emoji (i dont have it lol))
Thanks man. Real talk. So much work before and after taking video. And yes, I need a dust collector 🫣.
My goodness. And patience. I've had soft boxes (those studio lights) try to kill me too before and he was far more graceful about the situation. 😂🎉
How i wish i have all those tools, knowledge, money, and patience to build one too.
This is a really cool build, you did a wonderful job! :) Love your enthusiasm!
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed it!
My toxix trait is thinking I can make this

This is impressive! All from reclaimed stuff you already had! I LOVE THIS!
Idea: where you hang the clothes make the stair case their and have storage under the stairs so you can get into bed easy and have style
Actually that’s a good idea. I was thinking about that. Thanks for the idea 💡😎
the inspector earned you a like lol... excellent job on the bed. I've always wanted a loft bed :D
She’s beside me now. Inspecting this comment 😳. She was inspecting my other videos 😺
Great job, this is what UA-cam is for!
Love it man! I cant wait until I can own my own place to do something like this.
Thanks man. I’m creating a new DIY LOFT BED. I think you’ll love this next build. Keep in touch! 😎

Woahhhh bro u as a kid looks so similar to my dad as a kid, cool vid to tho.
Dang I wish I could do that but my parents are on a budget and probably wouldn’t have the time to do this. Lol
Great work, very inspiring. For me I would have to make some kind of rail because I would be scared of rolling out of bed at that height!
Thanks. Yes rail would be great. Maybe I’ll include it in my next DIY Loft Bed that I’m building now
YO BRO THIS LOOK COOL I WANT TO BUILD THIS IN MY FUTURE ROOM . THANKS FOR THE IDEA . LOVE FROM HITESH FROM INDIA 🇮🇳🇮🇳

Yes, this is simple and actually easier than my other Loft Bed with walk-in closet. Which country are you from?
@@GabrielDimude From the UK 😊
You look like the guy from Key & Peele
I love how you are repurposing old material !
Me too, I wanted to challenge myself to build something from old materials. I have a new DIY LOFT BED. I think it will be my best build 😎

Awesome video!!! How would you increase the weight capacity for up to 500-600lbs whilst keeping the setup fully functional under the bed still?
Before I built this set up. I check how they build beds. You can increase the capacity by adding additional slats 3:57. More of this will increase the capacity 😎
I stole a couple of ideas for my setup... nice job

Hola, una pregunta ¿cuánto tiene que medir mínimo de la cama a el techo? Mi habitación es pequeña y el techo no es tan alto, así que no sabemos bien.
ولله 10 / 10 ما شاء الله

Yes. My bedroom is 2.52 m high. You can apply this on your room. Check my description box for details ☺️
Can you show how you place your LED strips? I’ve been wanting to make it look like yours but idk how 😢
11:45 of the video. I show some parts on installing it 😎
It turned out really well but I‘m afraid that because drywall isn’t breathable you could get a problem with mold under the mattress at some point🤔

awsome!

Hi Jacqueline.
- The bed to ceiling height is 104 cm (top).
