Very first muscle car I ever laid eyes on as a youngster was the cuda, guy was tearing through the neighborhood with it and it scared the shit outta me with it's monstrous sound and ferocious look, was hooked forever after that and couldn't wait to see it again which I did many times over the years, love the Cudas! Great one Scottie!!
Nice video man. I realy enjoy learning about these cars. Scottie I appreciate you doing some original cars. I love street rods but also like original cars. Thanks man keep them rolling. Travis in Ky.
Scottie, we don't just get to see cool vehicles on your channel we learn on it as well.I was never really sure about the difference between a Barracuda and a 'CUDA. That guy has a nice car.Sounds really good like a Muscle car should. I like the 'CUDA/CHALLENGER MOPARS. In high school a friend had a 340 'CUDA but it had a big black stripe down the side. I prefer the stripes on this car. hanks for shooting it.
very nice. my dad had always wanted a cuda 70 74 any year he helped me build my 68 Firebird that he once use to drive in his teens and his dream car was always the cuda if only I can find a project of one somewhere these cars especially go for a large price, but every so often you can get lucky with a pretty long project.
Scottie mate, I’ve not missed any of your videos, I’ve enjoyed them from the beginning, even though I don’t drive I love the lines and the sounds of American muscle cars as much as I like the British sports cars like MG’s and Jaguars to name two, I still hate most modern designs. its only my opinion but they all look the same to me; you’ve a great channel Scottie and great informative videos, keep them coming :)
paint jobs must have varied, mine was metallic green with white stripes down the sides. It only said 340 on the hood. Mine had 5 miles on it when I drove it off the lot.
My buddy back in 1993 had a '68 Baracuda and he needed some cash and sold it for $1000. If I had the $1000, I would have bought it. I could barely buy food back then...lol
According to all the available literature, the hockey stick stripes were not offered in '73. Nice car and numbers may match but the stripes are not correct!

I like the rear black diffuser
73 the only option on cuda was 340 for 6 months and then 360. Nothing bigger. Plus they were detuned.
They came with the rubber bumper pads, for the 5mph damage test. Wish they had them today
when this car was brand new and stock, it would do 135 mph. And not 1 mph faster.
Awesome car! I am getting a 1973 with the 318 and I want it to sound like this car, anyone know how I could do this?
All I know is in the video...sorry
Yes have( The Forgotten Cuda)
What car do you have Scottie?
True that ScottieD
nice one

Neither are the center caps.
top speed, stock, 135 mph.
But now your rolling a Benz...can I get a whoopwhoop!!..lol
As much as I like Chevys, like second generation Camaros. I equally like Mopar Pony cars. I compare the looks of Demons & Dusters to Novas & Venturas.
I agree all those make cool Hot Rods...
Hey love those yellow cudas. Who cares if you shoot a hundred of them?
