Join me whilst i spend the night stalking with night vision binos and setting up trail cams on Frodsham marsh and finding mutilated sheep that are most possibly big cat kills!
I and another person with me had a sighting around 1997'ish only a couple of mile from Manchester centre. The built up residential area borders a wooded area that's part of a green corridor all the way to moorland. Was clear to us both what we had seen late that night from our property. It was circling around an area where people had recently began to put food out for the badgers that appeared in the area and the area was part lit by a floodlight on a building. We were that concerned we both decided to report it to the police who all but laughed at us but a report was still made. The night after I could see lights being shone across the field and into the trees I went into the garden and the area was being searched by armed police. They did not stay long and did not arrive with sirens blaring. My guess was that they had received further confirmation by somebody else reporting what we had also seen. Keep up the good work 👍
I had an encounter in 2010 in Lancaster, didn't see anything but heard vocals and it was possibly flanking me. Strange experience, really cant think of anything else it could be. I think railways lines are a good place, train kill, food source and they may use them as 'corridors'
Been thinking of setting a trailcam on the cargo train track which is a good route for it to get round without being seen, the track goes from Liverpool, Widnes,Warrington, Runcorn and frodsham so perfect for it to get about

Have you searched the beast of Smallthorne?
What you have found is a terrible sheep farmer. That amount of dead stock laid around is shocking.
If you can you should do a search in the lake district DNA proof has been found there recently
Please don’t harm them if you do see them! They don’t hurt people and are just feeding themselves to survive.
If you want to find a fresh kill you will have to go back about 12,000 years when we did actually have lions in this country .
