If you don't use an airbrush you could get that gradient effect using something like Volupus Pink/Magos Purple/Shyish Purple Contrast Paints and wet blending them. It's a lot of work though!
This wasn't a game.... this was a bloodbath. Joking aside it looked like everyone had a great time and that's what makes these enjoyable to watch. It's not a sweat-fest. Just friends having fun together.

Yep, so it seems that Slaanesh compensated by ensuring that Dave was the one being fucked over hard and without lube. Especially considering 6 is Slaanesh's holy number and the number of sixes his opponent got to their advantage, I think it is safe to say Slaanesh was on Tak's side this game.
The trash talk, the explosions, the blood for the blood god (even though Dave was playing Slaneesh)! This game was one for the ages and an absolute thrill to watch!
This was such an amazing game. I am hoping to see some more narrative games as they set such an incredible tone for the game I enjoy however these feel good knock down drag em out fights are great fun. Dave is an amazing player, so fun and engaging, and love his general atmosphere. More chaos! This just goes to show you guys are the best on the web!
I don't believe the numbers would be all that bad, though really, you would always need the non-split attacks in comparison to understand what, say, a 60-40 chart means.

As a new player who was inspired to get into 40k by watching PlayOn (and just finished painting 500 points of Ultramarines as my first ever army) this was so much fun to watch! Also massive props to Steve on the commentary! JT may be the iconic voice of PlayOn but Steve really brought his own style to this and did an absolutely fantastic job!
Man this game had so much fun energy to it. Dave is such a treat to see playing with you guys. I'd love to see him and Nick play a T'au v T'au match for the truest greater good.

Its why I love their channel! The matches provide quality content, while keeping the vid time down to reasonable lengths. They don't drag out the video, and MWG has followed this format more and I enjoy their content just as much, although just watching Dave is enjoyment enough in my opinion haha

Everyone giving Dave love, but let’s be honest, Tak is the star! I’m also rewatching this, even though I’ve got early access with the Patreon. You can learn so much from their deployment, strategy/tactics and action choices. Tak doesn’t win just because he rolls well!

Would you guys consider doing a special episode where you try alternate activations in the phases? Like one player moves a unit, the other player moves a unit, one player shoots a unit, the other shoots, a unit, etc. I've heard some people say it is better, and others say it is worse than the current system, I'd be curious to know what y'all think of it.
In my experience it is interesting and more dynamic. It makes the battle feel more real and reactionary. The downside is a lot of rules are not designed to work alongside that system. But personally I would love if 10th edition went to that format and was designed around it.
