40k in 40 minutes is the most digestible way to consume Warhammer on UA-cam. There's absolutely no channel I prefer than the conciseness and production value of this channel: no contest.
100% same. I've never clicked away from one of their battle reports before it was done, not even once. Wish I could say the same for others... Of the rest, I tend to enjoy MWG's, and on the exceedingly rare occasions Guy puts out a battle report I've only ever felt outright disappointed by one Midwinter Minis video (and that was for strategic rather than presentational reasons.) Tabletop Tactics have a great staff, but I'm not a big fan of the whole 'come back to the game at end of phase to recap' thing, I'd much rather see an edited-for-brevity phase in progress so I can follow the game essentially in realtime. Hell on the note of editing, I barely enjoy these guys' live videos any less than the fully edited/trimmed ones. They're just... fun to watch consistently.
@@alphariusalpharius3921 my Death Guard player friend was pretty smug until 10 berserkers charged into his Blightlords tearing them to shreds with Vets + Butcher's Nail. Nicks Terrorist Genestealer Cult is one of my favorite armies. I always look forward to seeing him use the rock grinder as an IRA car bomb in every game because people never learn.
Steve needs to accept that he can’t win with the Astral Claws because he is running them as good guys and they are not! Never were. So now that he came out of the closet on that one he started rolling box cars and making his 9” charges just like Tak. Enjoy the warp, Steve - can’t wait to hear which ruinous power you end up going for!

I was a little sad it wasn't Dave playing, but then, I was super excited to see the true killer of space Marines step up to take his place. Love all you for your editing and presentation, keep it up!
I love ya Nick but I have got to pull for Chaos Steve this time. You guys should put out a little video of every time you guys said Steve was falling to chaos titled "We all saw this coming."
I can forgive Nick for misplaying the guard, especially since they are in a realy tough spot. Steve is getting very savy in his plays and pointing out mistakes by his oponent, he's growing as a player. But please... Please burn those dice! It realy isn't very fun to watch those orange f*ckers roll this bad. Just have some 40k in 40min dice made and use them!!! (and merchandise!!)
When I saw those Leman Russes advance into the center I gasped. As a veteran guard player, I know the agony of having a tank get tagged in melee and the horror of "oh god he's in charge range now isn't he" was real. This was a great vid, love seeing Space Marine Steve out here playing the True Marines! EDIT: OH NOOOOoooOoOoOOOOOoo

Loved everything about this. From my boy Steve doing well and being excited about his rolls, to the epic intro, cinematic effects. Friendly for new players to follow the game and for advanced players to hear anecdotes about strategy. Can't get enough of this channel.
I love watching Steve do well, but it’s too bad it took a pact with the dark powers to do it. Nifty to see him playing all Astral Claws this year though! Very fluffy army choices.
