Goodness These folks make me so darn happy. Never mind red bull, THIS is energy juice, pure and simple! The side effects are nonstop smiling joy and strength!
marie spraybury............this before michael flatleys time and indeed before "irish" dancing. this would have been brought to canada by scottish settlers before irish dance was born.
@@brucecollins4729 Thanks so much for mansplaining facts of which I was already well aware. And the next time you decide to mansplain something to an intelligent woman, try spelling her name correctly.
@@brucecollins4729 I genuinely don't know where you're getting the idea that Irish stepdancing is any more recent than Scottish stepdancing. The Gaels of Scotland came from Ireland originally and likely brought the tradition with them. And stepdancing has been a lot more prevalent in Irish culture than in Scottish culture, where Highland dance seems to be the most prominent style. But yeah, Flatley made it a bit obnoxious by adding flourishes from Flamenco and American tap dance. Things that seem to have stuck around with the Tiktok Irish dancers of today.
@@PenneySounds there was no gaels came from ireland into scotland.......a fictional tale. it's gallic in scotland, no the mythical gaelic. the gauls/galls were always at war with the romans there so they fled to england. when the romans invaded england they then fled to and settled in scotland. irish stepdance only started in the late 1800s. irish nationalists adopted a lot o the scottish culture to distance themselves from theri angl-norman colonist. not jist stepdance but also fiddle reel music/ceilidths/ceilidth music/mac/mc and o prefixes, dropping the norman prefix "fitz" in favour of the scottish mac an o's..
Whether it’s his fingers or his feet, a dancing Mac Morin always makes me smile.
