- We LOVE Celtic music, so we're spending the summer in the Canadian Maritimes to attend as many ceilidhs as we can! This was shot in The Doryman Pub in Chéticamp , Nova Scotia, Canada on Wednesday, August 2, 2018. There's music there every night all summer... and practically everywhere else on Cape Breton Island, too.
Sometimes various different musicians take the stage, and people in the audience are often moved to jump up and dance, either alone, or in small or large groups. It seems like everyone in Cape Breton knows how to play the fiddle or piano, and EVERYONE knows how to step dance!
Cape Breton is awesome!!! Hup 🎶
Thank you so much for posting this video. The Doryman is an awesome place to be, and this night was definitely one of the best!
Thanks Sacey! We LOVE it there!! 😊
@@OuiRV the Kitchenfest 2019 lineup was just posted on Friday and The Doryman has many shows planned as part of the festival.

The Doryman!
you could talk to ANY fiddle player from Cape Breton and I guarantee you that they have been on that stage! It is an iconic venue for fiddle on a Saturday afternoon.......
Love it; That's cool!
