This is a really good video. I like bronze / brown lenses for the extra contrast, but the rose lens has more natural colors to me. The sky and skin tones look more normal with the rose lens, whereas with the bronze lens, skin tones look yellow and the blue sky looks greenish. Thanks a bunch!
That is exactly what I saw too. I really wanted the bronze lens because they are the closest to the Oakley versions which are even more intense of a contrast. However, after comparing for 20 min at the eye shop I found the yellow's of bushes was equally popping between the two lenses but the rose had a bit more natural green and sky color. The brown seemed to boost the colors of leaves a bit more which made it really hard. I think the rose looks cooler on your face than the brown. I just spent most of my FSA to get a pair and am eagerly waiting for them.
It really comes down to personal preference & lighting conditions. For bright tropical environments, we'd suggest the Lava but you're hiking in overcast or low light areas then Sunrise is the way to go 👍
I was at shop they only had Maui Green and Maui Rose. I bought the Maui Green. 2nd pair i want is Maui HT or Maui Rose. Which one is best in snowy days or foggy days between HT and Rose while driving?
Hi! The Maui Rose yields a higher level of contrast and color enhancement, great for snowy conditions. BUT the Maui HT (High Transmission) has the highest vlt percentage, meaning it lets the most amount of light pass through the lens compared to other MJ lenses making it a great option for overcast/cloudy/foggy conditions 😎
Which lens would be best for fishing and general use guys? I was looking at the rose but how would this help see the fish clearer than the other coloured an neutral lenses
Hey, Daniel. The best lens for you can vary depending on your lifestyle, vision preferences, and fishing environments. A neutral lens darkens all of the colors in your field of vision and is great for open, bright, and offshore fishing environments. It helps to think about how depth and contrast get a bit more blurred on a black and white tv or image versus one that is colored. Lenses, like the rose lens, provide a warm hue to things which is going to enhance depth perception and color contrast. They provide protection from bright light but can also be used in cloudy conditions. If you want a medium between the two, the MAUIGreen lens is a green mirror on a neutral grey base lens. Because it's green on grey, the way the optics work out, you get a rose hue looking through the lens, but it's darker than your typical rose lens because of the grey base. @@sportrxeyewear Thanks for getting back to me buddy, I've gone for the neutral grey this time round I managed to try some on at the options and the clarity is insane there a world away from anything I've tried before.
Hey Ainjuhl! Both provide excellent contrast for the described conditions, though the HCL Bronze might have a slight edge over the Rose. 🎣 👉www.sportrx.com/shopby/brand-maui_jim/product_type-sunglasses.html
That is not recommended! A good rule of thumb is that any polarized lens is going to cut too much light to be a good nighttime driving lens. If you feel the need for a tint, then yellow is the most common. Check out a video we did on yellow lenses: ua-cam.com/video/-2R4rXvjhTg/v-deo.html

@@sportrxeyewear for indoors or low lights conditions HT has better visibility than Rose?
Yes due to its higher vlt percentage. Meaning, more light is able to pass through the lens to meet your eye.
Do they do a rose lens for the wave
