Good video Chuck. Lots of fish, some good teaching points. The one with all the fish in his belly was a CHUNK. Pretty cool he gorges on fish and nymphs. Nice of you to show the chub/fallfish caught. We all catch more than we like to admit :)
Thanks for watching Mike! haha Yeah gotta show the fall fish because it's just a part of fishing.
Thanks so much- another great fishing video from you. And thanks so for the tying videos- I’m doing well myself with the stoned pheasant and the simple baetis...
You're welcome! Thanks for watching man. Glad the flies are working out for you.
Never forget man, Every fish caught makes the energy you spend worth it.
Well said.
Thanks for watching!
Lots of fish for a short session! Crushed it. That one was a super fat brown. Nice!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Been really wanting to start fly fishing, buying a rod tomorrow, can’t wait to practice some casting and really cant wait to be out in the water!
That's awesome man! I have no doubt that you'll love it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
@Brownsylvania Hey thank you for the response! I actually down in middle Maryland so I’m excited to really get to know the waterways finally
As far as the name goes I think simple baetis is appropriate. It is very simple to tie yet devastating with the results.Just weighing in Thanks Chuck!
You're welcome! Very true. Simple baetis may already be the perfect name. haha
Nice action! Would like to see a tie of the simple baetis..
You're in luck! I already have a video of it here: ua-cam.com/video/jelLO24O5bg/v-deo.html
Great video!! Nymphs of choice in this?
Thank you! I think the simple baetis and a stone fly or pheasant tail if I'm not mistaken.
Great vids! Will that mono setup you use work with a 8' 5 wt?? I really like the simplicity and way it can be used w streamers too
Thank you! Yeah it works with every rod I've used it with so far. Give it a try and let me know if you have any questions.
Video ideas.
Common mistakes you see others do on the river.
Presentation and where you should be wading or not wading.
Why you should fish upstream or downstream for specific techniques.
Awesome! Thank you for the ideas and for watching.
How about Black's Baetis or Brownsylvania Baetis? Looked like a great day on the water. What a way to relax after work!
hahaha I'm assuming Black's because you're thinking my last name is Black based off my IG handle? That's not my last name, but that sounds cool though.
Thanks for watching!
Hey Chuck! Nice way to spend an evening after work. Those fall fish need love too. That simple baetis is a real nice pattern.I was on super pressured water today and that pattern was picking them off. That was a real nice hog early in the video.
Thank you Dale! Glad you enjoyed the video and were having success with the simple baetis. Thanks for watching!
💯🙌
Thanks man! 👍
another good video. what's the reel? thanks
Thank you! The reel is a Sage Click series reel.
It be nice if you told everybody where you were fishing and what you’re fishing with.
I do explain what I fish with very frequently. I see no reason as to why I should tell people where I am fishing.
No one in their right mind gives up their honey hole to the internet! You’re a mighty wise man brother!!!
Man I love your videos and watch almost all of them, but please wet your hands more often when handling fish... even the little ones need wet hands :/
