You are the man!! I had a repair man come in and fool me by diagnosing the machine with the error codes. Told me they had to order a control panel and it was going to cost me $538! I did the temporary repair and ordered a $10 switch! Keep up the good work! I subscribed and liked.
Well done. My switch in Hawaii from a part store was $90. I wanted to bypass switch to see if that is the problem before installing new switch. I can return switch if this does work. Same with me about expensive repair guys. The repair guy was cool and told me I can save money by doing it myself. He had to fix switch first and if that didn’t work he would have to replace motor control part, more money. Hopefully this works. You are awesome I love “charpie” (sharpie) and “chock” (shock)!!!!!
Mine does all cycles except the last cycle no spin at all you can see the motor running but the belt doesnt turn will the micro switch cause that malfunctions missing broken lever
Thank you so much for starting your how-to from the beginning so I know how to open the front properly. Many many other videos skip this step.
Thanks for helping out an old guy like myself that is on a fixed income and can't afford expensive repair services.

Do you only check the switch by listening for the clicking sound or do you also do a continuity test with your meter.
That’s a great technical way to do it too, the purpose of my video it’s to do it with basics tools around the house, thanks.
Thank You
replaced the lid switch on a frigidaire Stackable washer and dryer combo...still wont work
Hardest way possible
That's not stackable ..it is stacked...meaning it cannot be separated.
