  • What's up Folks!?!? Welcome back to the channel! After my first trip to Lake Conroe, I couldn't wait to get back to chase those SLAB crappie! Started in open water, and made my way to the 1097 bridge where we found schools of nice fish on almost each pylon that we fished. Although the day stated off really slow, it ended in spectacular fashion!
    I hope you enjoy the video, and thank you for your viewing support!!

    • @fishingbythenumbers

      I use the same head unit which is a Garmin 8610xsv, but there are two separate transducers. Livescope transducer is the LVS32, and it requires the GLS10 (aka black box) which is a transmitter. My down and side scan transducer is a GT54.

    How do you get to the 1097 bridge? Where are you putting in at?

    • @fishingbythenumbers
      @fishingbythenumbers  Рік тому +3

      Los, take I-45 north toward Willis. I don’t remember the exit number, but the exit sign says F.M. 1097. Go west down 1097 about 5 miles and you’ll hit the big bridge. As far as putting in, there is no close public boat ramp, but if you have a small kayak, you can try to put in on the far west end of the bridge off the right (north side) of it. Otherwise, Scott’s ridge has a ramp, but it’s about 5 miles to the bridge from the launch. Hope this helps!

    Question bro. What battery are you using for the Garmin liveScope. I just ordered mine but im gonna need a battery.appreciate it.

    • @fishingbythenumbers
      @fishingbythenumbers  Рік тому +2

      I was in my Hobie in this video. I have four 16ah batteries for a total of 64ah. On my new old town, I have a 100ah LiTime LiPro battery running my livescope, fish finder, and lights. If your going to be running only livescope on the battery, then you should be good with 30ah. If running fish finder and livescope off same battery, I’d say go with at least 50ah. The LiTime batteries are pretty good, but if you want blue tooth, then Renogy is pretty good too (there are a few others out there)! If you want enough power for two back to back trips, then you’ll want at least 60-80ah. Hope this helps bro!

      Crappie Stopper jigs by Kim Burnett: www.crappiestopperjigs.com
      Stump Thumper Jigs on Facebook: facebook.com/StumpThumperJigs?mibextid=LQQJ4d
