- Today I'm testing IL MAKIAGE foundation. This is going to be an Il Makiage After Party foundation review!
I heard that this is the best full coverage foundation for oily skin. Not trying to do the full coverage foundation trend haha but just want a great coverage foundation without being cakey. This is a non sponsored foundation review, I purchased this myself to review for you; you can say that Instagram made me buy it! I also reviewed the Il Makiage Woke Up Like This Foundation if you guys want to see that- I'll link that below, both are an Il Makiage foundation wear test.

I love how you always say if a foundation has a fragrance or not! I also suffer from chronic migraines and scents will absolutely trigger them so I very much appreciate it!! ❤️
Not many are effected by that for some reason🤷🏻♀️ I used to buy so many products that others would recommend and have to return them for being frangranced, it was a nightmare😅

I actually preferred the way you read the description halfway through. There’s so much info dumping at the beginning of makeup videos. I found this a lot more enjoyable to watch!
I just ordered the full coverage foundation, concealer and mascara. It should arrive soon. Here’s to hoping for the best.

I really wanted this to work for me after all the videos I’ve seen. I ordered the primer, concealer and got matched with After Party 045. I’m about to be 39 years old, oily skin and very large pores. The primer did nothing. No blurring or cancelling pores at all. Maybe bc it’s more of a clear liquid primer but I’m going back to my marshmallow primer. The concealer I also found to be unhelpful. Once I blend it out, it looks as if I didn’t even do anything at all. I’ve even tried multiple layers which I don’t like to do. I do like the After Party foundation for my skin (have never tried Woke Up like This). It does give a nice matte finish, which I like and a very little definitely goes a LONG way (so listen to the packaging LOL). My pores on my cheeks are still visible but not so much on my nose and it doesn’t become oily as often.

Also I just got the woke up like this and going to try it in the morning for the first time. That full coverage kinda scares me tho because I don’t care for that much coverage so we’ll see but thanks for this video!

It classifies as a soft matte so it’s not overly drying, but the woke up like this foundation is also a soft matte but a lighter feel

It’s a soft matte so it’s not too drying at all! if you want to try it out I think that pairing it with a dewy setting would be the way to go, but you might not even need that. And thank you girl, that means everything to me!!🥺

This is definitely enough coverage on its own, but I would love to try their concealer, I’ll have to get it!

Nah. When she did her entire face you couldn’t tell the difference. Anyone who knows makeup could make any color work. It doesn’t matter if it’s too light or a little too dark. It will be figured out one way or another

It definitely feels like your wearing a full coverage foundation where as the double wear is definitely a lighter feel, but the double wear gives flashback in some photos, especially taking photos with flash. Not that its that big of a deal for everyday but i hated having to think about that

I love the woke up like this foundation more because it felt a lot lighter on the skin and looks more natural🙃 this one is definitely heavier and looks a little cakey throughout the day in my opinion after using it a few times
