I've literally been bombarded with ads for Il Makiage for months. I've heard mega mixed things about it, I've heard like 95% of people say the match is great, the other 5% have returned it like 4 times... People seem to be happy with the coverage but I've heard of a bunch of people breaking out using it.

Im On my third right now. I went from a 120 to a 075 and now they’re sending me shade 055. They were REALLY close though, regardless of the times I’ve switched. They still matched better than the ones I’ve purchased myself. The problem is it goes on nicely and then oxidizes a shade or 2 darker 😔
I just got mine and am just incredibly amazed how accurate the shade was for my skin. I was so impressed. I even went through that quiz so many times repeatedly to make sure I'm not misunderstanding or mistakenly trying to choose the shade I prefer instead of what my real shade is. I loved that it asked what age group, and if I have acne, wrinkles or red blemishes. If I'm oily or mixed in different parts. I was so happy with my foundation that I ordered another one and the concealer to match. I have never ever had a foundation that matched my face and neck like this ever before. I'm hooked.

I ordered this foundation after seeing lot of reviews. I am happy with foundation. I do not have any pimple or spot which I can confirm if it can cover but it matches skin and can be wear in daytime. My skin is super sensitive and this product doesn’t create any issue for me. Free foundation brush and eye liner is excellent. Eye linear is excellent as it dry quickly and do not smudges at all and its super easy to apply.
I just used this foundation for the first time and I absolutely love it! the shade I got matched my skin tone perfectly and wearing it all day didn’t make my face too oily as opposed to drug store foundations. the only downside is that it’s around 45 dollars but sometimes you gotta spoil yourself for a good product lol
i got sent shade 95, was way too orange for me but they were spot on customer service, they've sent me out shade 35 now so we'll see. Personally, I have tried it and compared it to my CoverGirl foundation. I tried the concealer as well and compared it to my L.A. Colors concealer. Il Makiage isn't bad by any means but my cheaper stuff seems to work better on my skin. I'll still use the bottle of products I got from Il Makiage but couldn't afford to keep purchasing it. It's somewhere around 50 to 55 dollars to get their concealer and foundation but the cheaper stuff is like 12 dollars at the dollar general. I'm ghostly pale lol and the lightest shades in the cheaper foundation and concealer just seem to match me better and last longer.

The No7 Lift & Luminate powder is great too, but my favorite powder is the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination. It also helps to use a primer water spray & primer before your foundation and then use the primer water spray when you're done with all your makeup. Follow it up with a setting spray that makes it last. I use the Wet N Wild primer water sprays (rose, coconut, cucumber) and Milani Make It Last setting spray (original). I also use very little powder.
Gave this foundation a go after seeing the ads but only bought it after seeing this video as trust your judgement! They sadly got the first match a bit off but their customer service was brilliant, they asked a few more questions and sent me out another shade for free and let me keep the old one. Shade 010 for me! BTW if anyone wants shade 040 lemme know, I have a nearly full bottle here!
Hope it's a match for you but if it's not seriously they are really quick at sorting for you and will ask for pictures of your skin tone to sort it, couldn't fault them for getting it right in the end :-)
Really weird thing is I’m a good bit lighter than you and #60 is also my color and it also blends well with my skin tone. I just got it today. So we’ll see if I keep it. It is very sheer.
Nothing has ever beat my cyo foundation and yes I know its discontinued but thire sister company renamed it and has it at Walgreens so it's still available. I will buy this and give it a try tho cause my skin is so much more oily in the summer and I'm looking for something more sweat proof. Hopefully this will be good.

My fav foundation ever was cover fx water based one. I would use a little and mix it with a little bit of face cream and warm it up in my palm and it was so nice and glowy without overdoing it and I have such dry skin. I don why they pulled them from Sephora and shoppers😫
@@goldenmist9 well back when I was using it my skin was super dry so I actually used that thick vitamin e cream. I don’t use it anymore though but you can use any moisturizer and nowadays I just use sunscreen if I’m going out and it’s pretty greasy enough for me🤣
You definitely should try it. I like this foundation a lot, and I am pretty picky about foundation because not many look good on my 41 year old dryish skin. Plus their customer service is PHENOMENAL. I got the foundation with their try before you buy (you pay $5 for shipping, they send you the product, try 14 days and send it back or they charge you on day 15). They also sent a free eyeliner. In Christmas, I realized it was my 14 day, and it was a tad dark so I had meant to send it back. I emailed them to tell them that I couldn’t send it because it was Christmas and the shipping places were closed. They emailed me back within an hour, on Christmas, and told me to just keep it, no charge. Then 3 days later, they emailed me saying they were sorry I wasn’t happy with my purchase and gave me a $50 gift code to their site. I’m really blown away by this company.

i do like this foundation and it does have nice coverage but my skin doesn’t co operate with it and i’ve tried several primers and without primer and my pores just show through i prefer mixing it wil the l’oréal infallible
I am 43 years old. I have never found a foundation that ever worked properly for me. Shade, undertone, matte, that didn't make me look cakey and 10 years older than I am......until I found this foundation a year ago. I swear by this company. I actually tried their concealer way way back then when i used to have ipsy and they sent it by samples , but i havent tried their foundation. The concealer however didnt feel heavy on my face.
80s baby here. I've been wearing makeup for 25 years and never use foundation because I've NEVER found anything even close to my skin tone. Not a lot of pink undertone foundations out there. I just ordered this stuff and waiting on it in a few days. Man I hope it matches. I'm about to be 35 and am just starting to get wrinkles and slight skin discoloration. I love this foundation! Its my second favorite foundation. Got my perfect shade match and I find that it looks better and better throughout the day as it melts into my skin.

Another is the L'oreal Pro Glow foundation. Lmk what you think! 😀
The No7 Lift & Luminate powder is great too, but my favorite powder is the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination. It also helps to use a primer water spray & primer before your foundation and then use the primer water spray when you're done with all your makeup. Follow it up with a setting spray that makes it last. I use the Wet N Wild primer water sprays (rose, coconut, cucumber) and Milani Make It Last setting spray (original). I also use very little powder.

Gave this foundation a go after seeing the ads but only bought it after seeing this video as trust your judgement! They sadly got the first match a bit off but their customer service was brilliant, they asked a few more questions and sent me out another shade for free and let me keep the old one. Shade 010 for me! BTW if anyone wants shade 040 lemme know, I have a nearly full bottle here!

Hope it's a match for you but if it's not seriously they are really quick at sorting for you and will ask for pictures of your skin tone to sort it, couldn't fault them for getting it right in the end :-)

You should compare Il Makiage to Sheglam from Shein. I did half and half on my face and literally could not tell a difference.

Really weird thing is I’m a good bit lighter than you and #60 is also my color and it also blends well with my skin tone. I just got it today. So we’ll see if I keep it. It is very sheer.

Nothing has ever beat my cyo foundation and yes I know its discontinued but thire sister company renamed it and has it at Walgreens so it's still available. I will buy this and give it a try tho cause my skin is so much more oily in the summer and I'm looking for something more sweat proof. Hopefully this will be good.

I bought it when it first came out, I thought I hated it, however, I now LOVE it, and yes, they got my shade so perfect, it has to be witchcraft!!!
My fav foundation ever was cover fx water based one. I would use a little and mix it with a little bit of face cream and warm it up in my palm and it was so nice and glowy without overdoing it and I have such dry skin. I don why they pulled them from Sephora and shoppers😫
What kind of moisturizer do you use with it? I have dry skin too
@@goldenmist9 well back when I was using it my skin was super dry so I actually used that thick vitamin e cream. I don’t use it anymore though but you can use any moisturizer and nowadays I just use sunscreen if I’m going out and it’s pretty greasy enough for me🤣
Matched mine perfectly too. AND it looks great throughout the entire day as well.

You definitely should try it. I like this foundation a lot, and I am pretty picky about foundation because not many look good on my 41 year old dryish skin. Plus their customer service is PHENOMENAL. I got the foundation with their try before you buy (you pay $5 for shipping, they send you the product, try 14 days and send it back or they charge you on day 15). They also sent a free eyeliner. In Christmas, I realized it was my 14 day, and it was a tad dark so I had meant to send it back. I emailed them to tell them that I couldn’t send it because it was Christmas and the shipping places were closed. They emailed me back within an hour, on Christmas, and told me to just keep it, no charge. Then 3 days later, they emailed me saying they were sorry I wasn’t happy with my purchase and gave me a $50 gift code to their site. I’m really blown away by this company.

i do like this foundation and it does have nice coverage but my skin doesn’t co operate with it and i’ve tried several primers and without primer and my pores just show through i prefer mixing it wil the l’oréal infallible
I am 43 years old. I have never found a foundation that ever worked properly for me. Shade, undertone, matte, that didn't make me look cakey and 10 years older than I am......until I found this foundation a year ago. I swear by this company. The concealer that goes with it....is good as well. So glad to see you trying it out. It is worth every cent you spent on it.

I actually tried their concealer way way back then when i used to have ipsy and they sent it by samples , but i havent tried their foundation. The concealer however didnt feel heavy on my face.

80s baby here. I've been wearing makeup for 25 years and never use foundation because I've NEVER found anything even close to my skin tone. Not a lot of pink undertone foundations out there. I just ordered this stuff and waiting on it in a few days. Man I hope it matches. I'm about to be 35 and am just starting to get wrinkles and slight skin discoloration. Praying I can cover it up for no other reason than to make me feel pretty.

Hey Steph. I actually tried doing their little test and second time I chose completely different answers. Guess what. It still recommended me the same foundation and shade. Guess why. Cause they only sell one foundation. I commented on their IG post asking why they are asking all this unnecessary questions if they are only selling one foundation. They've just deleted my comment. I feel scammed already without even buying this product. Do you mind asking them yourself? Maybe they will find an answer if you ask?
