It’s beautiful there but entirely too many people for me.
It's usually wise for locals to stay off the lake on big weekends. There are videos on UA-cam of locals recording the boat docks in the evening to see who is able to get their boats on the trailer.

Was out on the river yesterday in the 1970 Mercruiser TriHull. All of those big boats you showed in the beginning were out there. Plus as we went through the Gorge 2 helicopters buzzed us.

As much as I have treasured Desert Storm over the years as a spectacle, I think SuperCat Fest West is better….at least that event gives back to the community. They raised over $300, 000 for local children’s charities and projects. Perhaps Desert Storm could do something as well. Both cool events for sure!
