Just had this video pop up in my recommended. 14 years on that Lancer still looks darn good. Better than the sea of boring SUVs and crossovers out there. I think it looks better than any of today's compact sedans too. Mitsubishi got the styling right.
I love this channel! The videos are somewhat lengthy but they're so full of education (for a non-gearhead like myself) that before you know it, it's over. Not to mention, I love cars too so it's a win-win! Great channel, Randy!
It may not be perfect but it'll be perfect for a kids first car. The kid will tint the windows, maybe rims and a stereo. That is a very attractive car and it will be perfect enough. Great job Randy!!!
A tip when doing your carpets. Try using Rite Die in your shampoo for your cleaning the carpet, Just use a little darker color of the die.You can use on seats also. I did a headliner using die and shampoo.
When I sold vehicles, I did a cut and polish on every single one. People always said my vehicles looked better than the others they looked at. It's worth doing, and helps sell.
Good job Randy, it is a flip car so have to gauge effort, profit and safety. We all get really lazy with so many electronic sensors now. I think people will understand it is a used vehicle.
I think you did the best you could with what you had. One more saved!!!! WB should see some green. Nice low budget ride for someone. Great first car for a son or daughter..
Randy, the car came out the best that it could. I think the dent looks better pushed out than in. Thank you for the tip about the tornado for cleaning. Like always great video and content. Get some sleep Randy you deserve it. I hope one day our paths meet so I can ask some questions about doing some work like you someday.
Change the cabin air filter (Parts Geek for $4). Inspect/clean/change the air filter. Clean the spark plugs. I couldn't tell if there were floor mats in the front, but you can get some nice cushy used ones from LKQ for $5. You should be able to get $3500 for the car. Once you get a tire changer machine and balancer, you can put in TPMS sensors yourself. You can put in a Bluetooth aftermarket radio with GPS and backup camera for around $100. Dent in door looks better, but Weird Beard could make it even better. However, he puts way too many hours into fixing things! I am not sure how the whole wheel sensor went missing! Nice video Randy!
Painless dent tools would be best although it takes time.looks like the paint was in decent shape and just gives you access to work it from the outside door skin
That is very entertaining to watch and reminds me the gray hatchback chevy sonic that you got detailed few years ago! Very fun flips to watch! Good work!
While I understand that the paint on that Lancer was already messed up Randy, for the next time you should consider the two bucket method. Specially for your nice cars if you intend to wash them yourself, you get way better results, the clear stays nice for longer and the paint is going to look a whole lot less swirly.
Great video Randy , remember you are a car wholesaler you go the extra mile as it is . I definitely give you your props but at the end of the day it’s about the turnover and you give a great wholesale vehicle ...
You gotta make sure you take the end tip apart every so often and clean them! Just submerge the end in a bucket of water and hit the trigger. Helps keep it from getting clogged and or spraying unevenly
Damn! You been busting your ass this week. I hate to stop when I’m working on something also. I believe things will get better when you get that lift. Take care. Get some rest.
Concerning the TMPS, I owned an 09 Lancer for about 9 years went through a few TMPSes. For some reason despite the TMPS sensors being able to be swapped with generic ones, the programming has to be done by a dealer/someone with the correct Mitsubishi computer. Odds are that all the sensors are there, but they never bothered to get them programmed at a dealership. My personal opinion is that you should just go get it done and sell the car in perfect working order.
Where I live a TPMS warning is an instant fail on selling a vehicle. We can't have any warning lights or oil leaks. Most people trade-in or auction their old cars because its too hard to sell them. People interstate buy them up. My last one I traded in and the dealer sold it interstate. They doubled their money on it.
There is no saving that door without getting into metal work... Sadly. Would be great to find a cheap door that is the same color. But we know the odds of that happening. Its coming out pretty good. I think youre spot on with thats just what kinda car its going to be. Its not super nice. its not rare. Its just a nice a to b commuter.
Hi Randy, you tend to always work until the early hours of the morning, is there a reason for that, is it becouse is to hot during the day? I'm lucky if I make it past 10pm for going bed 😁 you must be knackered half the time, you never get any sleep !
Randy? my buddy ..there's an old country song titled " a little less talk ,and lot more action " :) but again i say with this covid going on... and you entering car's of the unknown behind the doors . < like i do everyday > i'll give ya credit you know when to hold'em and when to fold'em and walk away when the dealing is done hahaha be safe out there ! oh yeah? leave the damage goods to the man with the beard , i love the guys channel as well
I'd drive it, not perfect, but it's doable. I'm kind of OCD, so I'd take the dent out of it. I'd replace the TPMS sensors, just to clear the codes. Thanks for the video, Randy
Like the tornado if you don’t mind me asking where did you get it? I detail cars and that would be a great help! And the right side of the hood looks much better! You might make a little more money! The dent looks better. Looks a lot better great job Randy! Hopefully you get 3500.
I think the Lancer needed a quick respray for the hood and the rear spoiler, and definitely a replacement door. TPMS systems are often more trouble than they're worth and you may be able to disable it completely with your code scanner. BTW, did you check that the tyres are actually at their correct pressures?
The MGB is definitely worth good money. The SU carb is definitely quirky but not difficult to fix. Check out Living with a Classic's UA-cam channel for SU carb information, you can do the work yourself and save a lot. I'm rooting for that old MG hehehe.
Loved the video. I probably would have left the dent but just my preference. If I am going to fix something it bugs me to donit half way. Your car dude so u can do what you want...lol. I would sell that car for 4200 here
Lancer looks as good as it can.All things considered. Your voice could be effects of allergens in the air still. I always got sinus allergy issues between the seasons. Especially fall and spring.
Get the Tornado here: amzn.to/34F9Q1M
Get the JNC 12/24 here: amzn.to/2SDsS2Z
Ty sir.
It's not bad considering what you started with.
That MGB should bring between 12K-25K

The Detail Geek has some great tools and tips for cleaning out a vehicle
He should watch him and learn about cleaning cars properly.
I watch the detail geek.. He's great!
Should have left the door to the Beard.
Oh well Mike WB will finish it if he needs to.
I would replace tpms sensors. Just wouldn't want to sell with lights on dash.
Agreed. Some people won't consider buying a car with any dash lights on. And rightly so. $150 is not that much of an investment to get it right.
I second these opinions.
That Tornado is AWESOME!

Randy Weird Beard is your Auto Body Ace!
I'd buy that car just because it doesn't need much more to be an almost perfect daily. 👍
Id totally agree if it didnt have a CVT. I dont trust those transmissions.
@@faliray4889 I agree 💯
It was all right, but the door was damaged.
The MG cover is very rare and worth a great deal. The value just went up. Great work Randy.
Randy, you've done a great job, you've fixed a lot of problems and the car looks a heck of a lot better 👍😊
Good job Randy, it is a flip car so have to gauge effort, profit and safety. We all get really lazy with so many electronic sensors now. I think people will understand it is a used vehicle.
The Lancer is a nice car. The next owners can replace the door. Good job man! 😊❤️🙏
If I bought the car Id leave the door as it is as long as it didnt leak.
I think you did the best you could with what you had. One more saved!!!! WB should see some green. Nice low budget ride for someone. Great first car for a son or daughter..
That’s a lovely Mitsubishi you should make profit on that I’m sure.👍🏻
Randy, the car came out the best that it could. I think the dent looks better pushed out than in. Thank you for the tip about the tornado for cleaning. Like always great video and content. Get some sleep Randy you deserve it. I hope one day our paths meet so I can ask some questions about doing some work like you someday.
I almost bought one of theses for my first car, so I was really excited about this episode 👍
Total transformation looks great .Nice first car for someone.
Change the cabin air filter (Parts Geek for $4). Inspect/clean/change the air filter. Clean the spark plugs.

Randy took the car to the Randyspa LLC~
😂 👌

Whats the two bucket method?
@@faliray4889 yeah, Interested to hear what it is.
That Mitsubishi looks epic.
You did a great job.
Great video Randy , remember you are a car wholesaler you go the extra mile as it is . I definitely give you your props but at the end of the day it’s about the turnover and you give a great wholesale vehicle ...
Car came out awesome great work randy

Great job Randy!! U are really a pro! Thanks for the content very entertaining!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
She transformed better than before. Looks like Volvo s40
Good Afternoon My Good Bro Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Auction Rebuilds & God Bless You & All Of You're Whole Family Today
Thank You To All For Liking My Comments To Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Auction Rebuilds
Thank You My Good Bro Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Auction Rebuilds
She looks good Randy i wouldn't mind to have it, good daily car man yeah. Good job Randy.
Too bad it has the JATCO based transmission.
The polish may not make it worth more, BUT presentation is KEY, and could give you that quick sale
Damn! You been busting your ass this week. I hate to stop when I’m working on something also. I believe things will get better when you get that lift. Take care. Get some rest.

A good detail can bring more money and, most importantly, easier to sell. I've seen it and done it. I've gotten a $1000 more.
nice flip Randy, it doesnt come easy all the time but with this one was nice and smooth, you 'll get your money, its a rather clean car!
Where I live a TPMS warning is an instant fail on selling a vehicle. We can't have any warning lights or oil leaks. Most people trade-in or auction their old cars because its too hard to sell them. Loved the video, with you explaining how to do things and why it wasn’t cost effective to fix everything👍🚘❤️
randy make sure you check out the Tornador Black - its like the original one but times 10.
Should have left the door alone. Weird Beard knows what he's doing and could have gotten it pretty close. Just created more work for him.
That downtown area helps improve the condition of that car.
I do detailing, those tornado's are awesome
I’d be more than happy driving that car it’s nice than what I drive now even with the dent in the door.
There is no saving that door without getting into metal work... Sadly. Would be great to find a cheap door that is the same color. But we know the odds of that happening. Its coming out pretty good. Randy you got serious about those wheels.
Great content exactly why I watch this channel everyday
Knock it out!!!
Awesome Video Randy!
You did great, given what you had to work with.
It's what it's as you always say 😜
The car looks good
Looking good Randy hope it sells quickly
Great content Randy, I love it
You never wash your car in circular formation you always go horizontal that’s what Leaves swirls
Hi Randy, you tend to always work until the early hours of the morning, is there a reason for that, is it becouse is to hot during the day? I'm lucky if I make it past 10pm for going bed 😁 you must be knackered half the time, you never get any sleep !
Drastic improvements!
Randy the interstate batteries never like to take charge half the time i just replace them ASAP they never charge
I would love to see a Mitsubishi endeavor in the channel:)
Car is looking much better Randy, but I think the door dent was too big to fix without the proper tools.
So happy I can sell to the public in my state and not have the wholesale loops to jump through.
Randy: "This is a car I wouldn't drive in"
Also Randy: CHECK OUT MY CHOP TOP HALF MILLION MILE TOYOTA!
Should get yourself a good PDR kit there easy to use
The MG’s are fun cars to drive and work on.
I can recall when they were plentiful. Now, it’s a rarity to see one on the road.
Get yourself a brush attachment for your drill, that works amazing on upholstery!
Hey Randy nice job on the car. I hope you get a decent profit 😉
Nice little car
That car looks very nice, Liked , StaySafe
Oh no another youtube car wash video. Randy you forgot to flip the sponge like Gzquad
You need to keep the booster hooked up then put on your other charger to help give some voltage then the charger will charge the battery.
Great job Randy
you did a good job car looks really nice should get decent money for it. great videos

There's also an Elvis song, "A Little Less Conversation"
Looks Great Randy
Randy, I think it's a Tornador! Stay well and keep the vids coming.
I will buy it great job keep it up 👍
A MGB with it Tonal cover... (Jaw drop) That's RARE to see!
Nice work Randy!
It is in the description
That makes the car look like new
Looks great Randy! Good first car or A to B. Get some rest brother!
Car looks great 👍
Very nice Randy I think is going to sell I wish you all the best brother✌👍
WatchJRGO has a TPMS unit that can reset the TPMS. I think it is a MaxiSyS elite
I think the Lancer needed a quick respray for the hood and the rear spoiler, and definitely a replacement door. Great job on the Mitsubishi.
Hey Randy, I think it’s worth doing a polish, it a looks a lot better
id be very happy with the Lancer as is!
Looks a little better.
Love the channel but need more rebuilds it’s turning into auto auction valet service 🇮🇪
I'll do what I do. People can watch, or move along.
You need to invest in a bissell carpet cleaner, I have one I'm using it in the car and also at home, when my dog throw up or spill on rugs ;D
Tornado looks cool but I don't have a good air compressor 😑 I got little scrubbies for my new rigid drill works amazing with meguiars apc cleaner
I love flippin cars. I've done 2 in 2 weeks and doubled my money on each one. On to the next! Lol.
The door does look better! Absolutely have Auto Spa do the MGB before it goes up for sale.....
